The Inquisitor quietly closed the locker door, having beaten the lone man to unconsciousness. She moves to the alarm panel and quickly begins shutting down the system as fast as she can. Her fingers flying over the board, she withdraws her handgun at the sound of conflict and keeps it ready as she works.

"I'm on it", Myles replied to Rae manning the bolt turret keeping the troops suppressed.

Drake dashed for the computer, then set up a personal energy barrier. He plugged in his armor, and began his work.

"Hold them off!" he called out, "I need 30 seconds!"

"Umm.. Drake?" Argo asked his image appearing on the computer screen. "I guess I'll just speed up the transfer." He muttered in response.

"Reinforcements coming." Rae noted.

Vior'la kept his eyes on the door.

running in from another entrance a group of republic commandos (clones and if there isn't another entrance they made their own and collapsed it.) ran into the room to help the team keep the main entrance covered  "Commander all other entrances are secured  they can only get into this room through the main doors." The  commando's highest ranking officer said.

"Just hold them off for a little longer!" Drake called out. "I almost have it!" He kept his attention on the computer, and told Argo, "Davay, davay! I wanna get gone before the Sith troops up topside realize we're down here!"

As soon as Drake said this, the elevator they'd descended earlier rose, then came back down with a platoon of Sith soldiers. They immediately headed for the team's position. Kabier was the first to notice - she turned and fired as she exclaimed, "Contact rear!"

"Engaging!", yelled out as he opened fire on the troops with the bolt turret. The troops shot at the nest sending a wave of return fire.

The Commandos and Vior'la fired at the sith troopers doing their best to hit them or at least keep them pinned in the elevator.

"I'm already jamming all outbound communcations from this room no  further transmissions can leave this room ,Drake." Argo explained.

Rae worked on another console gathering as much data as she could occasionally letting out a few shots from her blaster towards the sith troopers

The Inquisitor finishes the touches on the console she had been directed towards, turning at a breakneck speed and nearly running face first into a wall as she charges out into cover, firing her pistol as she does.

"Got it!" Drake proclaimed. He unslung his AK and turned on the Sith troops. He fired a burst into the leading NCO, then primed a grenade. "Frag out! Take cover!" he screamed, throwing the grenade into the enemy's midst. Drake ducked behind cover before the device detonated, and blew a hole in the sith mob. He rose from cover, icing a few of the stragglers. The others retreated. "Come on, before they find a way to lock down the elevator from the surface!" Drake and Kabier headed for the elevator, hoping the others would follow.

  • 3 weeks later...

Drake noticed Inquisitor took a hit, and asked Kabier, "Tell me you have a medical history?"

"No, but I have a med bay on my ship, if that helps," Kabier answered.

"Got a med droid to go with it?" Drake queried.

"Would an EMS count as something similar?" Kabier inquired.

"Good enough," Drake said, as he raised his AK to ice a Sith soldier coming after Inquisitor. "COME ON!" he called out to her, "BEFORE THIS THING GOES UP AGAIN!"

(As we well know, Kursed has been [apparently] banned, so we'll have to continue on without him.)

The Inquisitor drags herself into the elevator, curling up against the side and waits for the elevator to move.

With everyone else aboard the lift, there was one person left.

"Myles, double-time it!" Drake shouted. "Get in here! Davay, davay!"

"On my way!", Myles said as he slid down the ladder and bolted to the elevator.

Once Myles was on board, Drake hit a button, and the elevator ascended. As it approached the surface, Drake said, "Inquisitor's been hit - keep her between us until we get back to the Defender. Kabby, once we get back to the Defender, get Inquisitor to the med bay, and activate your EMS."

"Got it," Kabier said. The elevator reached the surface, and Drake led the team through the now-empty Sith corridors, headed for the entrance...

The Inquisitor travels with a hand pressing hard against her injury, the pressure stemming the bleeding whilst she stumbles along.

"Just keep close to me, comrades," Drake said. He kept on his path, soon leading the team outside the Sith base. "Inquisitor, do you think you can make it to Fort Garnik?"

"I dont know where that is" The Inquisitor admits, limping along with the group as best as she can. "But i can hold myself for a while, if that helps."

"Fort Garnik isn't that far away," Drake said, "It's just over there." He pointed to the aforementioned fort in the distance. "You feel like you're gonna collapse at any time, tell us - if we can't get you back to Kabier's ship, we'll have one of the medics at Garnik have a look at you. Let's move." Drake led the team through the empty battleground, with Sith Corpses everywhere from their earlier fight to get inside. Drake led the team to Garnik, then turned to Inquisitor.

"How're you holding up?" he asked her. "Can you make it to medbay on the Defender?"
