"Sorry, Rae," Drake told her, "The Works are subterranean. We don't have much choice, though - it's the only sector that has an accessible pad that can take us to the Jedi Temple Ruins. Argo, can you get into the Justicars' systems?"

"I was telling, Balsa." Rae replied. "I have no issues with it."

Drake led the team to the Taxi pad, where a Republic Drop Ship was waiting.

"Mister Indari," the NCO said, "General Var Suthra is on the horn."

Drake followed the NCO onto the drop ship and, as he waited for the others to board, he spoke with Var Suthra. "Black Sun doesn't have Tarnis," he reported.

"They don't?" Suthra asked. "Then who does?"

"We have evidence that the Sith have Tarnis," Drake explained, "They're holed up in the Jedi Temple Ruins; we have to go through Justicar Territory to get to the works, then go to the access point in the works to access the Jedi Temple."

"My suggestion, too," Var Suthra said. "We don't want the Sith to think we're onto them - they might kill Tarnis if they do. Here are your orders: Get to the Jedi Temple, rescue Tarnis, and stop the Sith from doing whatever it is they're here to do."

"Acknowledged, General," Drake said. "Tell father I'm alright so he won't worry."

"Will do - Var Suthra out," Var Suthra stated, vanishing from the holocomm. Drake looked back at the others.

"You guys ready for this?" he asked.

"I still dont understand why we cannot just deploy from space onto the temple" Balsa grumbles. "But other than that, i am ready for war."

"If we deploy from space to the temple," Drake explained, "The Sith will know the gig's up - they might kill Tarnis. We have to bring him back alive; he's key to the republic's war effort." Drake paused, sensing something in the Force. He whispered to Balsa, "Something feels... wrong. Out of place. I fear there is something else going on here - do you feel it?"

"I dont have connection to the force" Balsa says, missing the point entirely. "All i feel is slightly air conditioned in this suit and miffed we have to travel through a sewer"

The drop ship flew over Coruscant, headed to Justicar territory - it was a good fifteen-minute ride. Once the drop ship touched down in the aforementioned sector, Drake was the first off. As soon as he did, he spotted an obstacle at the entrance.

"Any of you ever encountered any kind of mutated insects before?" he asked.

"Genetically altered, subterranean, anthromorphic Hive species that reproduces via parasitic embryo's" Balsa runs her mouth off, a checklist in her head that she recites in a breath. "They are primarily engineers, i use them to fix vehicles"

(Sorry, Kursed)

"Oh, good," Drake said. "Maybe you can tell me how to deal with that." He pointed to a mutated insect standing near a fire team of Justicars.

A Colicoid. "How the hell did Justicars get one of those?" Kabier asked.

"I do not know," Drake answered, "But you can rest assured, that thing won't be the only one - the Justicars definitely have more of them." He readied his AK, just in case the Colicoid spots them.

"Good idea", Myles said as he pulled out an incinerary  grenade "...where the hell did she go?", Myles ask looking all around realizing that Rae was no longer there.

One of the Colicoids jumped as  something was stuck to it. The incindiary grenade, Rae had put on it was begining to sprout fire all over the creature. It yowled in pain as it's body was consumed by the fire from the grenade.

"Don't let me hold you up." Rae said appearing near Myles.

"Show time!" Drake exclaimed, taking aim with his AK and firing on one of the Justicars. The poor bastard took overlappong rounds to the chest and dropped like a rock.

Kabier drew her E11 and fired, sending another of the Justicars running for cover. The one Justicar that was armed with a melee weapon made a mad charge for Balsa, screaming like a crazed rookie.

"OOF!" yelled the mad charging Justicar, Rae appearing near him her fist slammed into his stomach, flipping up into his chin causing his head to reel back before he fell to the ground. "That's how you hit like a girl." She said before disappearing again.

"Well I be damned", Myles said in amazement towards Rae before drilling a Justicar and advancing forward, sticking another Colicoid with his grenade.

"I can protect myself, Assassin!" Balsa calls out, having been prepared to deal with the Charging Justicar herself. She had raised her shields and began dragging forward, the shield picking up speed as she began advancing at a brisk walk.

As soon as the fight with the Justicars at the entrance started, other Justicars took notice and began attacking. The first sign is when blaster bolts began to fly. A recently-released Colicoid appeared, making a beeline for Balsa.

"Balsa!" Drake yelled, "Behind you!" He fired the disruptor of his weapon, and hit one of the creature's arms, causing it to shriek in pain. Before Drake could get off a second shot, a Justicar jumped Drake and he dropped his AK in favor of brandishing his lightsabers.

snap-hiss, snap-hiss!

"I can't block that!" Rae growled  stopping in a clear area where she wouldn't be hit by return fire. She blasted away at teh Colicoid with her DC-15A, firing burst of semi-auto fire so as not to loose accuracy as she would with full auto.

Balsa met the charging Colicoid at a light jog, her feet planting backwards as the shield strained against the bulk of the insect. She grits her teeth as her arm muscles strain, the whirring of the shield becoming more and more apparent as the snapping beast pushes closed and closer to Balsa's shaking face.
