"... So barring that one incident, coincidentally where i lost my legs, that is the reason i refuse to touch guns" Balsa finishes her touching and well told tale, coming up on the Jedi Temple. One hand clenches the Halberd, the other running a cloth over its ichor covered surface, collected from the dozens of mutants that only wanted to sell the group life insurance.

Drake sighed. "Well... there it is. Jedi Temple... or rather, what's left of it."

Indeed, the Jedi Temple was in ruins, devoid of any Jedi presence. Drake frowned, sensing a disturbance in the Force.

"Keep your eyes open for Tarnis," he said as he headed into the temple's depths. "Primary objective at this moment is to find and rescue him."

(Just a warning, ppl, be prepared for a major plot twist when we reach Tarnis. I won't, however, say what the twist is.)

"Whose Tarnis?"Rae asked letting the psi energy from her sword go away as she turned off the blade clipping the hilt to her belt.

"The Republic Scientist we've gone all this way to rescue," Drake responded. "He's been working on bits of technology that could help turn the tide in the Republic's favor in the war against the Sith." He paused, visibly shuddering while inhaling through clenched teeth.

"... So barring that one incident, coincidentally where i lost my legs, that is the reason i refuse to touch guns" Balsa finishes her touching and well told tale, coming up on the Jedi Temple.

"You and I aren't so different balsa, you see I suffer from PTSD and you suffer from the same which would explain why you don't like guns", Myles replied.

"PTS wha? Did you not hear the opening paragraph of my speech?" Balsa says, taking the sights of the ruined temple. "I dont use guns because i cant hit shit with em." Balsa laughs cruelly. "Why would I ever have stress from killing people?"

"What?" Rae asked feeling Drakes unease, her ears twiching searching for any sounds.

"There... is a disturbance in the Force... and I think it has something to do with Tarnis, but I-I cannot be sure," Drake responded. He reloaded his AK and said quietly, "I've got point - let's move." He led the team through the eerily-empty halls of the ruined Jedi Temple, stopping just shy of an antechamber. He motioned for the others to get down and take cover, and looked through a pair of macrobinoculars.

"Imperials... I was afraid of this," he murmured.

The antechamber was crawling with men in black armor that bore the crimson symbol of the Sith Empire.

"Want me to distract them?" Rae asked in a whisper.

"Bad experi..." Balsa shuts her mouth as the Imperials loom in the distance, her body crouched and her profile more limited than before.

"If you can collapse the ceiling on them" Balsa whispers to Rae. "We can hopefully pass it off as an accident"

Rae vanished from sight. One of the troopers screamed as he spotted a large orange dragon spitting fire at them. "FIRE!" The commander barked his order and the troopers started firing at the hologram of Argo. The orange dragon  twitched like he was getting slightly hurt from the blaster bolts. Slowly moving towards the troopers.

Drake watched as Argo's hologram soaked up blaster bolts like a sponge as he advanced on the Imperials.

"Well... I have to admit, it didn't occur to me to do that," Drake commented. Over a coded comm channel, he asked, "Rae - any idea how you're gonna bring the ceiling down? Otherwise, I'm gonna have to improvise."

"I prefer not to destroy the temple ,but if you insist." Rae replied pausing for a second Argo Stomped the ground making the whole temple shake as explosives vut the cieling open  a large piece of it falling onto the imperials.

"Subtle," Drake said sarcastically.

"Cheer up, it could be worse," Kabier told Drake. "Argo could have left a survivor."

Drake scanned the area, and found no surviving imperials. "Come on," Drake told the others, "Let's get moving before the more Imperials show up to sort out this mess. We need to get Tarnis." Drake took point, leading the others along an invisible path, using the Force to guide him to Tarnis...

(Plot twist ahead, ppl. Be ready.)

(Very well. Brace yourselves, comrades.)

Drake and Kabier led the others through the confines of the ruined Jedi Temple. Drake could feel the Dark Side of the Force growing stronger, a dark presence growing nearer, the closer the team drew to Tarnis. It wasn't until they reached Jedi Council Chambers that things took a turn for the worst.

"Initiating transmission, now, father," Tarnis's voice said. There was a pause, and another voice made itself known.

"Very impressive, my son; you have done well," he said.

Drake and Kabier rounded the corner and confronted those speaking, and found themselves staring at the face of Tarnis himself.

"Tarnis...?" Kabier stated.

"Surprised to see me?" Tarnis asked.

"You..." Drake said, "You're the sith! You're the dark presence I sensed!"

"Ah, the son of Indari," Tarnis said, as though amused. "I was wondering when you would take an interest."

"We have no time for this, Tarnis," the Father said. "Kill these interlopers, and activate the Planet Prison. We will trap the Republic on their own capital."

"Yes, father," Tarnis droned, grabbing a lightsaber from his belt.

"Channel your rage, Lord Tarnis, and you will defeat this whelp," the father commanded, his voice verging on a chant.

Drake handed his AK50M7 off to Kabier and unlimbered his lightsabers. "This battle is mine alone," he told the others.
