in a galaxy far far away (skipping long intro...)  Rp begin Setting: orbit of Kamino, star wars universe. On board the DMC Dragon's Rage.

"Argo are you sure about that?" Rae asked. looking at the orange dragon's hologram

"Yes I'm sire I'm picking up a distress signal from Kamino I can located it ,though my issue is  the imperial remnant may have also picked up the signal unless kyle is against it I think we should contact the Republic before we  investigate." Argo, the orange dragon AI replied.

"You realize, this is my ship? And that I'm standing right here?" Kyle asked. "Go ahead and call the republic in. I, however, want to know where that signal is coming from and who's transmitting it - I had thought the clones had been wiped out by the Empire during that Clone Rebellion fracas."

"Apparently, they missed a few," Drake commented.

In silence he sits, the amber liquid cycling as the day begins for Joseph Hopkins von Hohenzollern. He needs not open his eyes, the advanced cybernetics projecting the various menu's and information inside of his eyelids.

"Link to model Zero-four" He orders wordlessly, his mind being compressed into data and shunted painfully into one of his various shells that line the universe.

"How are you sure they are clones?" Rae asked Kyle."Sorry I know, Argo was using your scanners to scan the area I hope you don't mind."

" Their either clones or local populace." Argo noted. "I will contact the republic and I will show you the coordinates on the viewscreen momentarily." he added showing the location on the nearby viewscreen.

Kyle stared at the coordinates, letting loose a long, "Hmmmmmm..."

"What are you thinking, dad?" Drake asked.

"That something is out of place," Kyle said. "The Clone Rebellion of this 'verse was put down almost sixty years ago - why are we just now picking up the signal?"

"Argo," Drake asked, "Any idea how long the signal's been transmitting?"

"It's pretty recent." Argo replied. "I just picked it up a few minutes ago I cannot tell if it's been turned off and on for frequent intervoles or if it just came up now."

"Hal tells me the signal is legit" Joseph says, his automaton coming online slowly. His eyes glowing red, he runs a systems diagnostic as he talks. His rebreather begins supplying the false body oxygen as it limbers up and turns all the way on. "He did not explain why it exists at all."

"Strange," Kyle said. "Why now? Why broadcast a signal now?"

"You thinking it's a trap?" Drake asked.

"If it was, we'd have sprung something by now," Kyle answered. "But I do know that the Imperial Remnant of this 'verse won't take kindly to this signal if they pick it up."

(Speaking of the Imperial Remnant, who's playing them?)

(I was thinking both you and me if no one else wants to)

"If it was just Kaminoians would it be the same?" Rae asked.

"What's going on?" Amie yawned walking up to the group. "I just woke up from a mediation sleep.

Vince woke up and looked at his watch.

"Thirty four minutes, I've been asleep for thirty four minutes... drinking a vanilla milkshake.......... Is that supost to mean something?", Vince asked tiredly.

"I wouldn't know," Kyle answered Rae's query. "I'd have to get down there to find out."

Drake noticed Amie walking in and asked, "Sleep well?"

"I guess it was nothin' then", Vince said to Argo while yawning.

"I slept well", Vince replied, perfectly mimicking Amie's voice.

"Rather than sit here attempting to postulate the hidden meaning behind the broadcast" Joseph says, his mechanical shell now at 40% awareness. "Perhaps we can abscond to the surface and ask ourselves?"

(Amie.)

"We have to prepare before we do." Rae noted.

"I agree, we can't just head down there with no idea on what's going on", Vince said following up on Rea's statement.

"And this incessant postulation on what it may be cannot be solved" Joseph said smoothly, his vocal emitters warming up from an unknown amount of slumber. "Without a visit to the planets surface. It appears we cannot make an action without being blinded by unknown variables"

Joseph shudders as his Red robe billows, steam escaping from vents on his mechanical exoskeleton. There is a sharp intake of oxygen from his gas mask as he takes in air to replace what he lost.

"I'm not saying we should sit up here twiddling our thumbs, but at least get an idea of the situation at hand... Trust me, I would love to be on the ground, but that's the thing when you are way up, you don't take a blind leap", Vince replied back.

"Kyle we need to do something before the impieral remnant gets here if they know about this they will be on route now. I will monitor the radar systems. And i will also.

"Well Kyle?" Rae asked.

"Tell me about the imperials Drake. I've seen pictures of them ,but never seen them firsthand." Amie said.

Kage stepped into the room, his gear already on him as he surveyed his surroundings.  The room was different to him, then again, he was used to the ships that he was on with the Shadow Element.  They were more suited for a human at least.  He looked from person to person, "So..." he started, paying no mind to his ellipsis

"Like it or not," Kyle said, "I am of a mind with Joseph. We need to head down planetside. Away team, meet me in transporter room two - we're headed down there."

"Tell me about the imperials Drake. I've seen pictures of them ,but never seen them firsthand." Amie said.

"Well, there's a lot of history involved with the Imperials in any of the 'verses spawning from Universe 02," Drake explained. "In virtually every instance involving the Imperials, their Galactic Empire was formed under the pretense of putting an end to the chaos and corruption of the Old Republic - but the details of what happened vary per 'verse. Speaking of which," he looked to Rae and Kursed. "Is this 'verse 02-Alpha, or 'verse 02-Gamma? I keep mixing them up."
