Introduction: This is a story about alien mutant animals with magic powers to morph or transform into disquises, two factions of good and evil armies waging war with each other...Team StarFox Alliance and Team StarWolf Empire!!! Led by Fox McCloud and Andross, the wargames fought between these two armies determine the fate of the Lylat Star System and the entire galaxy!!!

EPISODE I "The War Begins"

Prolouge: Far across the star-filled galaxy lies the Lylat Star System, consisting of planets orbiting around star-suns and inhabitated by intelligent alien life-forms, mutant animals, of course who can think, feel, talk and walk like humans. One of these worlds is the planet Fortuna, home to the most powerful fighting team ever - STARFOX!

A terrible wargames conflict has erupted between StarFox Alliance and StarWolf Empire as the two armies clash in battles to determine the fate of the galaxy and its planets, especially Fortuna, Corneria, Papetoon, and so forth. In the captail city known as Paradise City of Fortuna, the confrontations between good and evil devastated the planet, draining nearly all of its energy resources in the process! Many of its inhabitants are without power supply for their homes, workplaces and such so an emergency meeting is declared by the Corneria Defense Council and its leader, General Pepper who at this moment is addressing Fox McCloud Jr, son of his deceased parents James McCloud Sr and Vixy Reinard and his fellow StarFox Alliance Rangers who stand before a holographic 3D illusion of the general's form inside the conference room of the Great Fox starship, in orbit around the planets.

Fox: <addresses Falco> Any luck, Falco?

Falco: <gives bad news> Negative, McCloud. All sign of Paradise City on Fortuna is blacker as midnight.

Pepper: Yegads, not the kind of news I wanted to hear at the moment.

Fox: I agree, sir. Unless a new supply of energy is found, nobody is going to win this war.

Pepper: In that case, Fox. I order you and your team to seek out another energy source elsewhere beyond this galaxy to bring back with you so we can restore power back to Paradise City and end this destructive conflict between ourselves and the syndicate empire.

Fara: But where do we find just such an energy source on another world, general? <she is confused> I doubt there are other planets that contain enough resources for us to bring back.

Pepper: I'm sure there's a way, Phoenix. Besides, you rangers are the only hope for peace and justice throughout the galaxy and to defeat Lord Andross and his terrorist forces once and for all.

Fara: Okay, if you say so, sir. <agrees>

Krystal: Andross will not rest until he's defeated us and lay siege to Fortuna and its sister-brother planets to rule with an iron fist, forcing all mutants into slavery to serve his cause or suffer the consequences.

Fox: We will not and cannot allow that to happen, rangers! Andross cannot be allowed to make innocent life-forms slave for him, do his every bidding like machines.

Rob: Oh, I resent that, commander...unlike myself, I do not mind taking orders and following them, but I would not hear of slaving under Lord Andross's control...

Pepper: It's okay, Rob. McCloud did not mean that.

Fox: No, of course not, sir. <to Rob> It's cool.

Rob: Very good, sir.

Pepper: I wish you godspeed on your quest in search of this energy source on another planet, but I must warn you that Team StarWolf may find out about this mission and attempt to stop you from carrying it out in the end, try to steal this energy for themselves first before you do.

Falco: No way! <mad>

Katt: Those terrorists can't get away with that.

Bill: Yeah, it's like stealing candy from a baby!

Peppy: StarWolf Syndicate never play fair and square, always cheat.

Slippy: Uh-huh, they cheat.

Pepper: Let's not discuss this further. It is time for you to launch so prepare your ship for immediatre departure immediately.

Fox: Yes sir! <to his team> Ready, rangers?

Everybody: READY!

But meanwhile, while this meeting was taking place, no one realized at the moment the entire conversation was being spied upon by none other than Belladonna, a whippet sorceress witch who was listening in on the plan to save Fortuna and the Lylat system. Upon hearing of the upcoming mission to blastoff into deep space to search for another energy source, Belladonna got excited.

Belladonna: Hmm, so these fools believe they're gonna save their homeworld from our grasp, eh? <grins> heh-heh, that's what they think. I must return to Andross at once, he must know about this plan.

Laughing to herself, Bella flew off to Syndicate headquarters which was located on the planet Venom, homeworld of the empire and Lord Andross the ape emperor himself who was determined to conquer all planets in the Lylat system and make its inhabitants serve his cause forever. Andross at the moment was making his own plans of ruling the galaxy.

Andross: If there's a new source of energy to be found, the Syndicate must find it first.

Belladonna: My lord, <enters throne room> I bring you news. <she kneels before her leader>

Andross: And what news have you brought me, sorceress?

Belladonna: I've overheard the rangers, Team StarFox is going to attempt a dangerous mission to seek out another energy source.

Andross: Oh, they are, are they? <frowns> Well, we shall see about that.

Belladonna: Pardon, sir? <puzzled>

Andross: If Fox McCloud thinks he's gonna beat me so easily and bring an end to this wargames, he's dead wrong! <glares> I'm not about to let Junior humiliate me in the end and ruin my chance of taking over the entire galaxy forever.

Belladonna: You know, Lord Andross, <points out to her leader> he does not like being called by that nickname.

Andross: Ha! <gloats> So what's he gonna do, huh? Beat me up for making fun of his name, eh?!

Belladonna: Uh, on second thought...forget I mentioned that.

Andross: Humph, whatever.

The emperor then turns to address an unseen entity presence in the shadows who then steps forward to reveal himself. It is a human figure of a man with black hair on the sides and back while bald on top and front of head, brooding eyes and dressed in a black robe with red sash belt around middle and slippers on feet. This is Gargamel, a wickid wizard and Andross's master.

Andross: Gargamel, show yourself!

Gargamel: <steps forward> What do you seek, lord Andross?

Andross: Master, <bows> I leave now on a secret and dangerous mission into space to follow my rival, Fox McCloud.

Gargamel: Oh? <suprised> What kind of mission, may I ask?

Andross: McCloud attempts to locate a source of energy elsewhere on another planet to bring back and save his homeworld Fortuna.

Gargamel: Very interesting, if I do say so myself. And you plan on following him to this golden prize and steal it first?

Andross: Yes, master. That is my intentions. And I shall bring it back with me to share with you in your presence, together so that we can rule the galaxy side-by-side forever.

The evil wizard grins evilly upon hearing his apprentice's plans. He likes what he hears at the moment.

Gargamel: Excellent! See to it that you succeed in this mission and I warn you, I will not tolerate failure on your behalf.

Andross: I will not fail you, master.

Gargamel: Very well, that will be all, my lord. You may rise.

Andross: Thank you. <gets back to his feet> Oh, one more thing before I leave, a simple request.

Gargamel: You only have to name it, apprentice.

Andross: I entrust the planet Fortuna under your evil control and its sister-brother planets.

Gargamel: Fear not, Andross. Fortuna shall remain as you leave it and I await your safe return home again.

Then the wizard melts away into shadows again and disappears. Andross begins gloating to himself as he realizes victory is within his grasp.

Andross: Now it's merely a matter of time until Fox admits defeat.

Ninjara: Those rangers would've lost eons ago if I've been calling the shots.

Andross: Ninjara, only a selected few ever lead.

Ninjara: My time will come, Andross.

Andross: Never! <yells in her face> You are not yet ready! <then to the witch> Prepare to blastoff.

Belladonna: As you wish, commander!

Who teaches you kids how to write? Have you never read a book before? Play format is not a standard method of writing, unless you're writing a play. Try using "said" instead. Integrate your dialogue with your narration. I keep saying these things, and I'm tired of being a broken record.

Thanks for that compliment, sir. From now on I will use the old-fashioned way of writing my story, intergrating dialouge narration with the storyline plot as you requested.

And "old-fashioned" my ass. Are all the books you read for school written in play format?
