WOLFjr
This is something I've been wanting to do for a while now. I'm going to start making my own internet video series. What I intend to do it basically reviews, top 10 lists, as well as other things. I already have a few review ideas, as well as a couple top 10 lists. Sadly, I'm on a budget so I need help in a few things. I'd like to know what would be a good video editing program to use that, as of right now, if free. Once I get this thing going, then I'll upgrade to a more professional program. I already have a good camera to use, and I know the basic of video editing. So does anyone mind helping me out wit some advice? Any help would be great.

Dr. Orange
If you need a good video edit software, I recommend Sony Vegas. I've used it for sometime and It's a charm. It's not free but there's ... you know... those places on the internet where things are ... convenient.

Fana McCloud
I never had much luck finding free/open source video editors for Windows that do what I think they should do or need them to do. AVIDemux works for simple splicing/editing tasks but it's not exactly noob friendly - After Effects seems so much simpler and more powerful if you've had to use AVIDemux. XD There are some much more complete video editing programs that work on Linux but I'm gonna assume you're running Windows.

I have no advice, sadly, because I think I would be terrible at such things, but do let us know when you get started! It will be interesting to see. Maybe you can pass some wisdom to me, I've been wanting to make vblogs for ages now. xD

I wish I had a Mac so I could run Adobe Premiere Pro. I used that at my school and it worked great. If you need a good video edit software, I recommend Sony Vegas. So hopefully I can do some video work over the weekend to see how it works for me.

Icy
For a free editing program with quite a few good features, I suggest VideoPad. It's got a free version and, so far, is the only 100% free video editing program I've liked that didn't have some silly restrictions or something. Not the best by any means whatsoever, but it gets the job done better than Movie Maker, I'd say. http://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/index.html As for whatever else you may need to do this, I'm not going to be much help, either. Never done this kind of thing.
