WOLFjr
For those who enjoy watching shows like WWE, TNA, UFC, Bellator, etc. I'm not much into MMA. Always been a pro wrestling fan through and through. My absolute favorite wrestler of all time: Jeff Hardy. My absolute least favorite wrestler of all time: Randy Orton. Let the talks of championship matches begin!
StarFoxfan-FUR_ever
Im more of a Bellator MMA guy than UFC to be honest, the matches seem more even in my opinion. Seems more exciting when anyone can win, at least to me. Favorite Wrestlers: Technically i was a fan of the Big Show for the longest time (but he got boring), but right now I fully support Cody Rhodes, Ted Dibiasi, Jericho, (would say Edge too, but he retired) and the Miz (sue me), and Shawn Micheals. TNA wrestler: Mr. ANDERSON (though the WWE should have never released him....*ANGER*) Least Favorite: Cena...do I need to go into details? HHH as well. Orton got boring. CM Punk....somethings gotta be wrong with that guy. Ryback is quickly climbing the ranks though I gotta say (Im sick of him) TNA wrestler: Zema Ion...overhyped so overhyped... My favorite joke video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XbnkpjjhSY
Prince Elite
I prefer Japanese wrestling over the "mainstream" stuff, although as of late WWE has picked up its game. My favourite wrestler hands down is Prince Devitt from NJPW. You have never seen wrestling until you've seen this guy, he's brilliant. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FULijS9TaaQ I also have his signed boots in my possession. Outside of Japan, my favourite wrestler would be Christian, least favourite? Good question, too many to name. I also happened to have trained as a professional wrestler for 10 months before suffering a partial finger amputation which has postponed my career since November......... I like both Triple H and CM Punk, as well as Ryback when he first debuted. Of course now with his heel status, not so much. Of course, I don't really like anyone that's a heel. Yeah, I'm one of THOSE fans. Other wrestlers that I really like include: Austin Aries, Chris Jericho, Christian, The Rock, Kurt Angle, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and I know I'm probably gonna get some flack for this one, but William Regal. As for joke videos, I take it you never seen this one with Kurt Angle and Rob Van Dam?

WOLFjr
Ah, you're one of THOSE fans? Please tell me at the very least you don't like Cena XD Personally, I prefer the Doctor of Thuganomics. Shame on me for forgetting Christian, aka Mr. Should've been a multi-time World Heavyweight champion. Sometimes I feel that Christian is the modern day version of Gregory Helms, company clearly gives him no chances at all. How can you possibly be a fan of both the Rock and Steve Austine? lol Shame that the Rock left so soon in the prime of his career really. Finally, the Rock is BACK, for 1 month (I would love to see CM Punk beat the Rock in a PPV event for that reason) William Regal deserves a lot of credit I feel, and people don't give it to him because of his role (and far too many interferences in matches) during the last 2-3 years of WWE ECW. In all honesty, its amazing how he was able to keep up with guys who were half his age towards the end of his career. I think it's great that he has stuck around to be in the manager role for individual wrestlers, and provide some great commentary from the booth. Im gonna go out on a limb here and just say Shelton Benjamin, Elijah Burke, and Ezekiel Jackson. Those are three wrestlers who were going to be the future of the company, and they all got screwed over in one way or another. Kurt Angle and RVD LOL im watching that over and over again. Way too funny. Don't worry, I still hate Cena. I thought he was OK when I got back into watching wrestling in late 2010, but thankfully The Rock opened my eyes. Yeah, I really liked Christian. I just hate what WWE did to him back in 2011. He finally wins the World Heavyweight Championship, and what does WWE do? They have him lose it 5 days later (technically 2 days since Smackdown is taped the day after Raw) to Randy Orton. Then they make Christian a bitter, self-centered heel who wants "one more match". This is pretty much the reason why I absolutely HATE Randy Orton. Not to mention Orton has an extremely bland and boring character, sub-par wrestling skills, and a finishing move that is a copy of multiple other wrestlers' finishing moves (DDP's Diamond Cutter, Steve Austin's Stone Cold Stunner, etc.). Yeah, I feel sorry for guys like Ezekiel Jackson. He had a lot of power, and was definitely capable of becoming big in WWE, but they just blew him off. Another wrestler that I enjoyed and feel sorry for is Zack Ryder. I respect him a lot for trying to give himself a push with his internet series, and it did work. But now he dropped immediately back down to a jobber position. Wasn't the purpose of having two shows was to showcase ALL of the talent that WWE has? Yet they choose to focus on roughly less than ten of them.
StarFoxfan-FUR_ever
Zack Ryder's an interesting case. Around the time when he and Kurt Hawkins started having IRL issues with each other was when both of their careers went downhill. That being said, Ryder resurrected his career with the web show, but ultimately allowed WWE to buy him out. This spawned the problem now with WWE pushing silly Youtube shows that people don't care for. Ryder's fans wanted him to be used more often, and the WWE started cracking down on fans who would bring Zack Ryder signs to the show, as there have been many many cases where fans were told to put the signs away or be removed from the arena. So basically, for one reason or another, the WWE realizes they can't release Ryder because that would cause some HUGE backlash from the fans, and TNA would most likely immediately sign him the week after. However, they don't want Ryder to do well because.....I really dont know why. I remember last year, there was a lot of buzz going on about how WWE was coming to Long Island, Ryder's hometown. All the fans were cheering for him to be put in a match all night (which shows that he wasn't even in a match off camera) and he didn't get a match. As Ryder once said on his web show before WWE bought it, "This is a ball, with Zack Ryder on it (a sticker of Zack Ryder). This is the WWE, dropping the ball with Zack Ryder" *drops the ball* You really gotta wonder how the same wrestlers can go in as many as 2 to 3 times a week and have matches over and over again. Eventually WWE will suffer lots of serious injuries all at once you gotta think. What will they do then, make Tyson Kidd champion? Maybe involve Yoshi Tatsu in a storyline and have him on the mic week in and week out? Or better yet, lets bring back Alex Ryley, (Actually that would be a good thing) Which reminds me of when TNA couldn't have a divas/knockouts division and championship holder because almost all the female wrestlers got hurt around the same time about 2 years ago. Now of course, TNA's releasing people left and right

When it comes to the female wrestlers, TNA has WWE beat hands down. Unlike WWE, who pretty much use the Divas as a sideshow division, TNA puts a lot of effort into the Knockouts matches being great. Case in point, the two recent matches between Gail Kim and Taryn Terrell. Those were some vicious matches as far as the women go. And they last as long as a standard men's match, where WWE Divas matches last between 5 and 10 minutes, 15 max.
StarFoxfan-FUR_ever
Orton..........wins............the WWE championship after.....Bryan Danielson wins it???? I cant tell you just how angry I am right now Thank goodness Cena didnt win....but now we're gonna have to listen to King and Cole talk about how Orton is the "Apex Predator" endlessly for the next month at the very least. You know what? I'm gonna sit down and watch that ridiculous Divas reality show now....yes, I'm going to give WWE the impression that I would rather see the Diva's division in the spotlight right now than the WWE champion, because technically....I do. You're not the only one raging at that right now. I already stated how much I absolutely DESPISE that idiot Orton. I figured he would win the WWE championship eventually with that Money in the Bank case. I just can't stand how it's done. I'll be looking forward to seeing Daniel Bryan kick both Triple H and Randy Orton's faces in.
Snys93
Ah MMA, nothing quite like watching two grown men beating the sh*t out of each other. StarFoxfan-FUR_ever
I know I should have let this thread die, but this is huge news, particularly how it shifts the balance of mainstream wrestling in the US. According to various news outlets, it is now confirmed that AJ Styles has in fact resigned with ROH. How will TNA bounce back from such a huge loss? Your guess is as good as mine. I don't get ROH through my cable provider unfortunately. Anyone who does, could you go into greater detail about what kind of an "impact" (pun 100% intended) that AJ Styles will have in bolstering the lineup in ROH? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONlChjSlp28

Yeah, from what I looked up, a few people have left TNA when they said 'I quit' on TV. This happened with Hulk Hogan when he said it. He was actually quitting. And it appears that the same is happening with Jeff Hardy. It'll definitely be interesting to see where Hardy goes from here if he does. In other news concerning WWE, on January 20th we will be seeing the return of a huge superstar by the name of Batista. I've never seen the guy in action do to me being out of wrestling back during his time, so I'm not really sure what to expect from him other than the usual big guy power game style wrestling stuff. Sarita
I remember Batista being a favourite of mine back when I watched. Then again I seem to have liked wrestlers that were less popular... Yes. I used to watch wrestling. Religiously.

Actually I know why Hardy put the whole "I quit" speech. He's not leaving TNA I can assure you. Sometime last year, TNA had announced that Jeff Hardy would be one of the main attractions when they would perform in England. They just forgot one thing...Hardy's technically not allowed to leave the country for a few years do to his criminal charges. So in order to write him off of TNA for a while, at least for the duration of the trip to England, he can't be part of the show. Batista was always one of my favorites, and I would say his best years were towards the end of his career, especially that final heel turn, when his mic skills dramatically improved. Batista looks like a big, lumbering musclehead, but believe me when I say he can be very agile (at least on his feet) so expect to see a few spears now and then from him
WOLFjr
Watching TNA right now, and guess who just showed up. AJ STYLES!!! Yep! Two TNA World Heavyweight Champions, Magnus vs AJ Styles. One match for the TRUE title. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Maybe this was all just a big rouse by TNA to make us all believe AJ Styles actually left. If so, it friggin worked. Then again, AJ is probably there just to dump the title before he heads on over to RoH. Who knows.
