salmon45
This is not exactly a fan fiction but I thought this would be the best spot to post it in. Here is my poem about Fox. In these troubled times who will keep our galaxy safe? An animal named Fox His orange fuzzy face and pale snout rest under wide pointed ears His brave eyes stare foward with determination A zipped up jacket covers his powerful chest and fearless heart It rises as his lungs fill with air His smooth green leather pants wrap around his muscled legs and snuggly ride his crotch A shinny metal blaster rests on his hip His mighty sword ready to slay anyone who would threaten his home His long bushy tail hangs in the air It is soft and fragile A contrast to the animal who owns it He stands tall in high rugged boots that that he keeps buckled tight He is a hero The savior of a galaxy Tales of his deeds are told by miners in asteroid fields and mothers seeing their children off to sleep In the face of his enemies he is ferocious and swift But at the end of the day when he goes back to her everything changes He takes his time with a gentle touch and soothing words All the tension leaves his body and he gets lost in the moment
TakeWalker
Third stanza's definitely the best. Honestly, I don't understand the obsession with describing a character's looks. I see it in fanfic all the time, the requisite paragraph of details about clothing, powers, personality. It's not that important, really!
salmon45
Yeah, character descriptions are sometimes overdone.
