Ok, so... As the title suggests, this is a StarFox version of Far Cry. This is an RP I JUST thought to try, so it's experimental.

History- Travis was born and raised in Sargasso and grew up the life of a criminal. He one day left home after killing his mother, and his sister, and became a space pirate. Now, he trafficks drugs, slaves, and just about anything that'll make him a few bucks.

What he/she was doing prior- N/A, he is the one responsible for attacking all of the player's characters.

Do be mindful of the rules of the RP-board - this sort of requirement already leads me on the path to believe the RP will violate rules.

The character board isn't too difficult once you learn the basics of it.  All you really have to do is start a thread in that board and define your character information in posts.  See the links below.  Seeing as a roleplay that conforms to the rules should not be exclusive or have an age requirement, note that you'd have to waive that - the violence that comes with setting is no problem, however - so long as it is not overtly detailed to the point of it being ridiculous.

Debating whether or not to join this, as there are a few things I would like to know:

 

1.) Which Far Cry is this RP based around? Or are you making up the storyline with twists that make it seem like Far Cry?

 

2.) Would my Dragon'taan Marauder Corps (DMC, the Dragon-Shifter Military) characters fit in with this RP (So I'll know whether or not to make a new char)?

 

3.) Will there be any kind of limitations on weapons used in this RP (If so, what kind of weapons will I be allowed to use? If not, I'll likely use one of my Hybrid Rifles)?

1) once I get everything finalized, it'll be based more or less on Far Cry 3, since that's the only one I've played. I'm going to tweak bits and pieces of it to make it a little more unique, and not like sitting through the same game two or three times in a row.

2) I'm not really sure what that is, so you may have to make a new character...

3) no, as long as you can find or buy it, it's yours. Though I would like to know some about the weapon so I know what price to put on it, or how rare to make it.

History: Angelica was born to a caring mother and father.  She had always been a bit of a problem child, and her parents always dealt with it accordingly.  seeing no end to her bad behavior, they had nary a choice but to send her to the military academy.  She spent four long years being yelled at and learning discipline, and what did it get her?  When she exited the academy, she was uniform, professional, but no less of a bitch than she was before.  Now instead of a spoiled brat, she was a seasoned Army brat.  First chance she got, she snuck onto a cargo vessel off world and into the dark abyss of space.  Now she uses her impressive knowledge of forgery to fake checks, degrees, ID cards, and anything else that could get her in and out of places in order to get by.

What he/she was doing prior: She might have been running away from a botched deal and some angry gang members who might or might not have been chasing her.

Primary Weapon: Full-Auto Assault Rifle, fires 7.62x39mm Depleted-Uranium rounds from 45-round extended dual magazines

I am asking because this RP is somewhat set in the Star Fox 'verse, and energy weapons do exist in Star Fox (And disruptors, though not present in Star Fox, definitely constitute as energy weapons). If I cannot use them, don't fret; I have a large number of other weapons I can use.

K, a few things I'm noticing.

1) I'm seeing alot of humans. This takes place in Lylat, so if you've got your hearts set on playing humans, can you please explain how they came to Lylat?

2) I can allow those weapons. Though they're going to be rare and the ammunition will be very scarce.

3) I can accept Russiandog's character. once I get the villain accepted, I'll say welcome aboard to you! :D

Ammo won't be a problem for my char, given that they will carry ammo with them (that, and the power cells the disruptors use last a long time). Speaking of which...

History: The Dragonarian known as Hunter is a character shrouded in mystery and confusion. Little is known of his origins (aside from his painfully-obvious Dragonarian heritage), but what is known is that he can be a deadly predator when need be. It is rumored he single-handedly stalked and eliminated the entire crew of a Kemorainian Planetary Assault Cruiser. He is never seen unarmed, as he is usually carrying a rifle, a sidearm, and a melee weapon. The Rifle is usually either an RX Kalashnikov AK50M7, or an RX Hybrid H3M1; The Sidearm is always a Model 30 Kadgeron Disruptor pistol, which he carries in a holster he wears at his side; and the melee weapon is a diamond-bladed katana he claims to have crafted himself, which he wears over his back. Few amongst the populace of the Galaxy know he is a mercenary working for the Dragon'taan Marauder Corps, the Dragon-Shifter military out of Universe 01-Delta. How he gets from one planet to another is largely a mystery. What few people have witnessed his arrival on a given world report him coming down by way of a transporter beam - which would imply he has his own starship, but no one has ever seen it. Because he is always so well-armed, few dare to talk to him; the few that have report he is almost nothing like his demeanor suggests. They report him as funny, outgoing, and good-to-know, with an odd sense of humor, but unique nonetheless.

 

What he/she was doing prior: Finishing up a contract in a neighboring system - he was on his way through Lylat, headed for another system when he "sensed" something was wrong in Lylat.
