I really enjoyed it for the animation above all else. The story was good! Its just that compared to the quality of that artwork it doesn't even shine.

Well keep in mind that the level of violence is subjective. That's mild compared to a lot of the things I've seen, hence the "tad" part. The fact that nothing is really seen outside of silhouettes keeps me from being able to say it's truly violent.

 

And indeed, the art style is fantastic. Reminds me of Borderlands style cell-shading mixed with Gorillaz.
