Keep in mind that there is an image limit of 4 and a character limit of [300], but it shouldn't stop you from doing anything you'd like. For instance, I am displaying a Serious Sam logo, as I love the series. A Zero-Two pony, since ponies and Zero-Two, my Steam Signature since it felt right and is good if people want to add me there, and an old RP award that I received for being the best n00b that joined that year. Generally you don't want your signature to be too large or distracting, but that's about the only other piece of information I can think of in regards to it.
