Dimitri grabs his helmet and puts it on, while slinging his back pack on quickly. His rifle raising quickly as he hears the shouting. Before he places his finger on the trigger, he reconizes the voice. It was Ryan. "Hun, hop up, he's here." Dimitri says to victoria. She stands up, slinging her rifle over her shoulder. As she picks up her pack, she prays that they are not going the hurt them. Dimitri holds his rifle, not aiming towards Ryan. He begins to shout "Friendly!? Yes or No!?" hoping he won't have to shoot anyone at all.

Scott was kneeling behind a small pile-up of rusted-out vehicles and the remnants of a mobile home, give or take 40 yards. He perched the AR on top of the wreckage and was able to line the scope with the clear area between Ryan and the newcomers. "Don't shoot ... don't shoot..." He mumbled to himself.

Ryan approached them, but didnt get to close. He took a gamble and removed the clip from his side arm, placing both the gun and the magazine on a car hood in front of him. "Yes, I am friendly." he said with a little bit of relief that they didnt shoot him on site. "I assume you are Dimitri?"

1.4 south, wont effect the bullet to much. Tera ran the calculations in her head and adjusted her aim accordingly, pointing the cosshairs over one of the radio mans heads. "By the way, keep a look out for any infected." She said, looking up at Lennox. "The last thing we need is..." Suddenly she noticed where the jaguar was glancing. Even in a time of total destruction there seemed to still be only one thing on a guys mind. "Hey." She said, snapping her finger. "Eyes on the road."

Dimitri lowers his weapon and slings it back behind him. "Good, I'm glad I ain't gotta kill a living man today." He said a bit serious, but jokingly also. "Yes sir, you'd be correct,-" Dimitri says, extending his right hand "-and you're Ryan I presume?" Victoria now relaxing alot, but still remaining aware of the highway around her.

Ryan took Dimitri's hand and shook it, wincing at the slight pain that still came from his wound. It didnt look like these two would be trouble, but Ryan didnt want to show his cards just yet. "Yes, you are right also." he said, releasing from the handshake. Ryan turned his head and pretended to scratch behind his ear, but really just looking back to check on Scotts position. "So I assume this is your wife?" He asked as he turned and faced Victoria.

"Yeah, they're on the road; wind changed to 2.1 Southwest by the way." Show's over... he spent a nice long while taking occasional glances without her noticing, though.

Scott seemed safe enough. Those three seemed to break the ice nicely... Wait...

He poked Tera on her arm without breaking contact with what he saw in the binoculars. "Two blocks ahead, three of those things. They may attempt to cross the street. If they turn right, they'll see them. Other than them street seems clear enough, so don't shoot yet"

"Oh hello ... what do we have here." He took notice to the three bogies out of the corner if his sight. He decided not to move until he could accurately confirm that these new survivors were not hostile.

Dimitri brought his hand back to his side. "Ok then, nice to meet ya,-" he said motioning to Victoria. As she comes up, she props her rifle up against the car. Dimitri does the same while continuing to say "-Yeah, Victoria." She reaches out her right hand. "Nice to finally see there are other people out there." Dimitri doing a scan of the area, noticing a zeds head pop in and out of view behind cars down the road. "Hey, y'all might wanna keep it down a bit." He said, pointing in the direction of the cars.

Kage sighed, "I know what that's like." He commented.  It wasn't long before he looked back out the window, seeing the small group heading out from two doors down.  "What the hell are they doing with those guns?" Kage asked, "If they attract every zombie within a square mile, I'm not leaving this house.  I don't have a lot of ammunition, and my pike isn't going to last a lot longer."  Had Kage listened to the entire broadcast he'd know that they were going to meet with the group of survivors they were talking to.

Chayrlin, having crept through the house looking for something to eat, returned to the attic in time to hear kage's announcement. SHe shook her head in disappointment. "Staying here wont be optimal, i couldnt find anything that wasnt spoiled or ruined by rats. We might have to go with the loudspeaker gang and their dubstep guns."

Ryan took Victorias hand and shook it. "The feeling is mutual." He said with a slight laugh. It was obvious these people ment no harm, Ryan was sure of that now. He turned and looked at the direction the infected were coming from then over to Scotts position,  waving at him that it was ok to come out.

Tera adjusted her aim to the windspeed and followed to were Lennox said the zombies were. Damn, they are a little to close for comfort. She looked back and saw that Ryan had waved Scott out, meaning the radio people were friendly. "Keep an eye on those walkers Lennox, tell me when they get to close or if any more show up."

Scott saw the signal and was reassured. He stood up and took the weapon off the makeshift perch and cradled it in both hands. He made noticeable gestures, mostly waving to convey he wasn't a threat, keeping a close eye on the infected over yonder. Once he caught up to the group he more or less tossed the AR-15 into Ryan's arms, taking precausions to ensure it wouldn't drop of anything. "You can have this back. Never liked heavy weaponry anyway." From there he swung his head and portrayed a somewhat emotionless face with raised eyebrows to meet the newcomers.

"Hello I'm Dr. Jaax."

"Dah." Victoria says, letting go of the hand shake and turning to see why Dimitri had said they should keep quiet. As she picks up her AR, she see's a zed, just slowly, walking in and out of view between cars about 30 yards down the road. She opens up Dimitri's pack and pulls out two of the silencers, handing one to Dimitri. "Here, lets hope we don't need it now." she says, putting one on her AR, then handing the other to him. She turns to where her back is towards the other two, and aims at the zed, just in case it decides to turn their way. Dimitri notice's the man come out from behind a car, seeing as how he didn't have his gun aimed, and waving most the time; he knew he was friendly. As he got there and introduced himself, Dimitri stuck out his right hand and said "Howdy Jaax, I'm Dimitri and this is my wife Victoria." now turning his head over his shoulder a bit. "hello." She said, still starring that thing down through her scope.

"Great," Roxy muttered at Chayrlin's report. Holing up while they could would have been nice. She didn't like the stress of having to look for somewhere new to sleep every day, always wondering whether or not it was actually safe.

If she were actually safe.

On her feet, she patted the dust off of her sweatpants, looking from one survivor to the other. "Should we go then?"

"On the corner, our guys should see them by now. They're appraoching Ryan from the back." The infected didn't see them yet, but he couldn't tell if the guys saw them. If they shoot they might be in trouble. It was still clear, but he didn't had a say in-between the blocks.

"Thank goodness I'm taking the spectator role this time"

Scott saw the hand trusted towards him. At the time, he was paying more attention to the infected and the possible trigger that would be pulled. Then he took notice of the hand once more. "Charming," Scott responded, declining to follow the handshake. "Now that formalities are out of the way, shall we proceed back to the safety in numbers?" He turned facing away and began heading back when a pain arose from his upper shoulder and upper thigh. His joints were beginning to hurt. He pulled out a small pill bottle and popped a couple pills before returning the vial to his pocket. "Shall we?" he asked.

Ryan shouldered his AR and returned to the car to collect his pistol. "Wait now Scott, we havnt even asked them if they wantet to join us." He replaced the clip and turned to Dimiri. "We have a decent size group hid out in a house not to far from here if you wish to join us. But if not we understand." With that he turned to where Lennox and Tera sat on the roof and gave them a thumbs up.

"Ryan says they're good, we should pack up and get street side." Tera said sitting up. She folded the rifles bi-pod and cradled it in her arms, signaling Ryan back. She was about to say something else when she heard a noise, a slight ting coming from below. She twitched her ears and focused on it, hearing it again and distinguishing it as breaking glass. "Do you hear that?" She slowly crept over to the stairs and looked down. Four sets of hungry eyes stared back at her, nostrils flaring as they smelled fresh meat. Tera stepped back. "Shit! Lennox, we have company!"

His ears perked up at Tera's warning.

"Speak of the fucking devil..."

Lennox ran to a side, only one of them going for him while the rest seemingly went to the raccoon. With two direct hits with the bottom of that fire extingisher he knocked out that one temporarily. The feline quickly opened up and rumaged through his backpack. "Buy me time! I might have something to liberate us from this!"

"Where is it? WHERE IS IT!?"

He saw the ledge of the adjacent building, although a floor shorter, seemed stable and close enough. "How do you feel about free running, coon?"

Scott looked back at Ryan, who was facing the other two. "Right, ask them because being loners in apocalyptic Hell is better than the Hell with people." He stopped talking and did that writing motion with his hand. He took off his glasses and wiped his face with his hand. He smoothed out beginning to cope with the pain as it subdued. "If they wanted to be alone and enjoy the lovely ambiance of the rubble I'm not stopping them. But the reason to even meet convinces me otherwise." He turned and started up again. Then he noticed Tera and Lennox making actions and movements that concerned Scott. He thought for a second and began to pick up pace. "I also suggest making your minds up fast..."

"...we might have a situation."

Tera managed to place a boot in one of the infecteds stomach, sending it back down the stairs before the other two swarmed her. She used the rifle as a barrier between her and them, keeping both of them at bay. They snarled and growled at her, clawing at her face with rotted hands while pushing her back towards the edge of the roof. "Uh Lennox, hurry up!"

The cat looked through and through. "Dammit where..."

He stumbled into something different than expected. But it just might work...

The zombie he previously struck was running at him again. He managed to elbow him and pin him to the ground. As he stepped on her neck, he got a can of hairspray he stashed from that shop and the lighter he always carried. He sprayed the zombie's head with the lighten up, flammable liquid. Her head quickly got up in flames. That thing trashed and frenzied for a few seconds before going limp. Two to go.

The feline grabbed one of the still complete bottles from the ground and threw them right behind the ones attacking the girl, in hopes he could divert them.

Ryan looked at Scott worried. "What do you..." Suddenly he saw it, the stuggle that was taking place on the corner store roof. "Oh no..." The panther took off at a sprint, not caring if the infected around him saw his movement. "Oh Jesus no, Scott lets go!"

The horrible smell of burning flesh reached Tera's nose and made her cringe. Lennox better hurry up with whatever the hell he was doing, otherwise they were going to push her off the roof. She heard the sound of glass breaking infront of her and the zombies paused, seeming confused and less frenzied. Tera used the distraction as an opportunity,  moving the butt of the rifle up over the head of the infected on her right, pulling it forward and sending the rotting bag of puss over the side. The other one got an elbow to its face as she threw it aside, running towards Lennox. "Free running sounds great." She yelled, grabbing his arm and pulling him along. The zombie she kicked down the stairs reappeared,  glaring at them before following suit.

No response came from the doctor. He just continued to pursue towards the building, placing his Marlin over his shoulder using the strap. Using the Baseball bat he obtained from the past shelter. The two of them charged up the street, through the damaged doors of the wrecked store and up the flight of stairs. Scott could hear the groans of the dead the closer the closer they came to the roof. Scott started to think of the possibility of one of them becoming bitten. That thought didn't sit well.

Lennox stood still at the edge of the building on a defensive stance as the zombie went lunging towards him.

"Closer... closer..."

At the last moment, he dived sideways and that infected brethen threw itself off the building and plunged to the ground. The feline picked himself up, sweating and panting. More ruckus past that door confused the cat. Was it the Doctor and the crippled panther? Or was it a full hoard of those things?

"I'll go first, then you continue..." he said to Tera as he wen't back for an impulse.

"How was it... Land on all fours and then roll or you'll faceplant like a dumbass..."

Dimitri and Victoria grabbed their stuff and ran to catch up with Scott and Ryan. As they reached them, Dimitri begins to say "We'd be more than happy to join up with y'all." He didn't know if Ryan had heard him or not, but that wasn't the main concern now. As he begins screwing on the silencer Victoria handed him earlier onto his AR, he did a hand signal to Victoria double time it. Though the silencer might be useless now, it can't hurt to be ready. As they ran into the building and began ascending the stairs, Dimitri aimed up where the groans came from as they climbed "Pop your ugly head out here, I dare ya." he whispered to himself.
