Ashlin waited for the whole ground team to get on board, looking back from the cockpit and counting them as they took there seats. Good, the other four loaded up. Satisfied she hit the botton which closed and sealed the hatch, then pressed the button for the intership com. "Welcome passangers and thank ya for flyin AirMerc. We know ya have a good selection of airlines to choose from and this time you chose wrong. For safety reasons, if we happen to meet StarWolf on tha way there; place your head between your knees and kiss your tail goodbye." She eased up on the controls, making the shuttle hover off the ground before bringing up the landing gear. "Have a good flight." She pushed forward on the throttle and shot out of the hanger, purging into space along with the Arwings. "Alright, where to Hackett?" The fox said over the radio.

(Im going to assume Doc loaded on to)

Bumping and overall shakiness natural of this kind of aircraft aside, Ashlin was handling it pretty well.

"We're still alive and with the breakfast still in our stomachs so you're doing good Ash..." he quipped, sarcastic. "Say, you are a sniper right? What's your philosophy on this close combat duty?"

(Doc is still on the ship I think, and again, aircraft in space dont bump and shake, its physically impossible unless acted on by an outside force.)

"The freighter's dead ahead. You'll be loaded up and ready before-" An alarm stopped him mid sentence. "Hold up. I'm getting something on ladar." He inspected it closer, seeing that it was coming off of the Starboard Bow of the Executor. Three transport ships and a squadron of raiders with a Wolfen behind the pack. Star Wolf. "Boogies in sight! Shoot to kill!" He rolled to the right and pulled up to face toward the squadron. "Dimitri, get in between the shuttle and Star Wolf! Zephir, Ansam, on my wing. We're gonna take a far approach. Ashlin, punch the throttle, she's takin off!"

The Space Dynamics freighter started moving forward with a frigate and two interceptor fighters as escort.

Dimitri raises up as the Executors radar picks up the bogies. "Yes sir, maual controls activate." He says in responce to Hackett, cancelling the follow flight path and raising his arms up for a second as the arm rests came down. Pushing the two sticks forward, he places the ship where told, cutting the thrust and turning it to face star wolf; just in case if they decided push forward. "In postition Hackett."

Ashlin unsheathed her knife and stuck it in the arm of the pilots chair. "By flashing my teeth." She said glancing back to Lennox. Suddenly Hacketts voice came through the radio, warning of StarWolf and barking orders. Fan-fucking-tastic. She gunned the throttle down to catch up with the Space Dynamics ship, hoping she could make it there before the attackers could chew up the shuttle. "This is BloodHounds transport to Space Dynamics freighter. Requesting permission to dock and assist in the situation, over."

"Oni nikogda ne videli, chto my priyekhali." Zephir proclaimed as he saw the blips on his radar. He moved his Arwing into the requested position and blew out his pipe. You either smoke or work, can't do both. "Standing by." He said as he began arming his weaponry systems and such. Out over yonder, the lights of the burning tails of Star Wolf's ships were becoming more clear and in focus.

"What's the plan here? How we pulling this off?"

(Ansam to Hackett)

"Roger, falling in."

Ansam increased to combat speed and matched Hackett on his port side.

(Ansam to Zephir and Hackett)

"Lets take 'em head on, force 'em to break formation! Setting primary from firing position 1 to 2."

"Small crowded ships and guys shooting at it. Just like that one time at Inmigration..."

"Look Ash, they're opening the gates! Step on it!"

As the shuttle lurched forward, Lennox failed to realize that his safety belt was not properly secured. The G-Diffusers took some time to catch up with the change in acceleration, tossing him back and onto the floor. A thud could be heard as his head hit the floor panel.

The shuttle found its way into the freighter's bay, but at an improper acceleration rate. The momentum of the shuttle overpowered the retrograde thrusters and sent it careening across the bay floor, leaving skid marks along the flight deck. The emergency net cropped up, catching the shuttle and slowing it to a hault.

Inside the shuttle, Lennox found himself again launched in another direction as he was tossed forward into the cockpit, landing ass first on top of the controls. He was not seriously injured, but he would find himself with a raging headache.

Outside, Hackett barked over the comms. "No! We want them to stay packed together. Ready charge-cannons and wait for my signal." His fuselage started glowing green as a focused ball of energy grew on the tip of the Arwing. The three transport ships started rapidly accelerating upon sight of the Normandy Class Frigate and made a mad dash not for the Freighter, but the Cornerian Frigate!

'Gods dammit, this is tedious,' thought Ansam with his finger hovering over the trigger. He knew Starwolf wasn't going to send a few wolfens to protect those dropships and as they drew closer their true numbers became realized. Too many for three mk1 Arwings to handle. What was Hackett planning?

   (Ansam to Hackett)

"These thugs ain't gonna give us any quarter Hackett! Call weapons free!"

Ashlin braced for impact as the skidded across the floor. When the net deployed and the ship came to a halt, she noticed someone got flung into the cockpit and was almost sitting on her lap. "Jesus Lennox!" The vixan said, unsnapping her seat belt and grabbing the cat to help him off the flight panal. "Put on yer damn saftey restraint next time ok?"

She reached over and smacked the door release button, making a way out of the shuttle. "Come on guys, we have a job to do."

"Hold fire!" Hackett analyzed the flight path of the first wave. Seven fighters in an arrow formation. A properly placed MK II shot would decimate the whole squadron, but he had to plan a bit on three different shots. Each pilot's technical display appeared as Hackett designated targets. "Fire charge shots on the pre-designated fighters. This one attack will wipe the whole squadron," he said. His shot was ready and aimed a the tip of the arrow. Ansam's was on the left wing and Zephir's was on the right. "Fire!" he said.

On the bridge, Dimitri would see a holographic message appear in his peripheral vision. Target priority: Troop Transports. Transports at coordinates 0 6 8 mark 0 2 4, heading 2 7 0 mark 0 0 1.

(*(  Introduction to Spherical Coordinate Navigation: Space Coordinate navigation works like two circles, each perpendicular to each other. The first set of numbers is your horizontal plane. Forward would be 000. Left would be 270. Right would be 090. And backward would be 180. The second set of numbers is the vertical plane. Forward: 000. Up: 090. Back: 180. Down: 270. The two sets of numbers in unison work like so: (Horizontal Set) mark (Vertical Set). Example: Up and to the Right: 0 9 0 mark 0 9 0.  ))

(You're enjoying this Jero)

"Damn... thing just broke off!" he yelled as he was being helped up by the vixen. "I've been in worse, I'll survive"

He had to lean on a wall for a bit. Luckily all that hair could protect a bit; no blood to be seen and the drilling headache seemed that it would go soon.

"Fuck that was a hard hit"

Dimitri wrapped his hands around the controls, watching as the situation unfolded. "Damnit, I should've looked at what this shipp has for amorment.' He thinks to himself, releasing one hand and begining to look for the list of weaponry the ship was equipped with. To no avail, he does not find any specifications. "I know Im looking in the wrong place, but it'll have to wait.' The message appears in front of him, and reading the coordinates; he types then into the targeting system. "Didnt brush up on what that was, but theres always a time to learn." He says to himself as the ship points itself in the direction given in the message. Pulling the triggers, he fires towards the transports; hoping that the coordinates didnt fail and cause a miss.

"Bloody hell," Ansam muttered under his breath and complied with Hackett's orders as the three Arwings all fired in unison. The shots had made their mark, but the remaining craft quickly took their place and began spray fire barely hitting the fighters in close formation.

(It would be best if that question is asked >here than in the actual RP. Specifically ask Jeroscope.)

The Space Dynamics freighter crew helped the team out of the shuttle and into the corridor. They were met by a Basset Hound who seemed to be in charge of security. "Are you the mercs we hired?" he asked.

The Executors main cannons fired, but the first shot missed its target and hit the transport behind it, doing the same with the third. One shot didnt hit at all, leaving the first transport untouched and inching closer to the Cornerian freighter. This was due to a lack of calculation for ship displacement, meaning he didnt lead his shots. The two hit transports suffered massive damage and were disabled.

The shot worked, destroying the entire first wave. Hackett grinned for a second before the radar flashed red again. Another wave of bogies, this time spread apart. "Hackett to Executor, dont worry about the transports. Ground team will handle them. Lets take out these fighters!"

There were four groups of three interceptors, each armed with a heavy torpedo that would rupture the hull of the freighter. The Executor and the fighters are too evasive for said torpedoes.

"Yes we are..." Lennox replied in behalf. "Are we going to guard a specific room where the goods are or the whole ship?"

Ansam singled out a wolfen for himself as his next kill. The fighter veered off as Ansam gave chase in close pursuit.

   "Target acquired, going for hard-lock."

The wolfen twisted and turned, banking in a series of maneuvers. Ansam struggled as any fighter pilot would but with that same sadistic, devil may care grin. Try as the wolfen pilot did, it did not deliver him from the inevitable outcome. The shepherd held the trigger, guided the cross hairs over his prey and released. The charged laser tore through the wolfen as a brief flash erupted into a cloud of ignited fuel and life support trailing twisted debris.

"Heh, he was little fun," he said as he looked for another.

"This precious cargo inst in a tight sealed room is it? I need open space for my rifle or atleast a long corridor." Ashlin said to the hound.

As he searched for more fighters, Ansam caught sight of one of Starwolf's drop ships. It was hit on its starboard side by the Executor and was fully committed to land or crash.

(Ansam to Hackett)

"Green Three to Grey Leader, the freighter has incoming! Transport at 270. barreling like a bat out of hell for the docking bay!!!"

"I got it." Dimitri says, turning to intercept the transport with engines at full thrust. As he speeds towards the transport, he aims the ships guns at it; pulling the trigger and sending two lasers flying towards it. One struck the cockpit of the transport, while te other still missed entirely. "How do I fix that?" He says, heading back to stand between the transport and the enemies.

(Im not going to say this again, throughout the combat segments, I and ONLY I will say how the enemies react until or if we get some players for them. This is your last warning)

Hackett did a u-turn to see Dimitri blast apart the bridge of the transport, throwing its trajectory off. "Nice shooting, Tex." He turned back around to see three Raider class fighters intercepting him. He immediately let loose a barrage of bullets only to take down one fighter. He was going to have some "fun" getting the last two.

A pirate Frigate had jumped in and opened fire on the Executor. Thankfully, it had a quarter of the maneuverability, but it also had a higher defense rating.

A Raider managed to tail Ansam and opened fire, reducing his effective maneuverability until auxiliary systems kicked in. He would not be able to shake the target, and with Hackett and Dimitri already tied up as it is, Zephir was the only one left to take the pursuer down.

The third transport was still on its way as it eased to the Cornerian frigate and dropped straight on it's bridge. The bridge crew scrambled as they tried to figure out how to get the thing off.

Inside the freighter, the chief got a radio communique. "Change of plans. The Cornerian Frigate was the target all along, not us. We can still help though, and you can get an early test of your new gear. I'm assuming you all can fight with EVA suits, right?"
