..::Hackett to Ian::..

He smiled as he seemed to agree with his morals and accepted the handshake. "Just tell me what you need. I'll do the rest. Welcome aboard."

..::Hackett to Elektra::..

It was clear he wasnt going to actually convince her of his moral code, so he may as well try to thaw her over time or bring down the hammer if the time arises. He sighed and stood up, reaching out his hand. "As long as you hit the right targets, you get a good paycheck."

..::Hackett to Doc::..

He smiled at the reaction, paying him a decent sum in advance. "Double your previous rates for incentive." he said. "I'll meet you on the Executor. Docking Bay 4." he said, turning to walk to the ports.

Doc gets up. This could prove to be profitable, provided the mercs could be trusted. For now though, he was being paid. This can't be worse than dealing with the criminals he had on occasion. He looks over the list again. Hope the med bay was well stocked.

She set the chair back on all four of its legs as she stood, shaking his hand.  Was that it?  Do they get to leave now?  Where to anyway?

"Where are we going from here?"  She asked, looking back towards the door, then to her employer.  She'd spent far too many times inside the walls of these interrogation rooms, it would be pretty nice to get out.

All these new people didn't motivate Lennox to move from his couch. He analyzed the newcomers.

"Dog, dog, dog, dog, Gori-holy shit..." He haven't seen much primates in his life before, so he could only base his judgement on some semi-offensive stereotypes. Anyways, no one called for his attention or vice-versa, so he just kept relaxing.

..::Hackett to Ian::..

"The Executor is in Docking Bay 4. The ship's security should let you in." he said. "Take care." He walked out of the room and headed to the nearest frozen yogurt place. May as well grab some for the road.

..::Hackett to Elektra::..

"I'll let you know when I have the details for our first mission." He picked up his things and opened the door letting her out. "Come on. Lets join everyone else on the Executor."

..:: Executor computer to Crew::..

You will each be assigned an individual room. said a synthetic voice. It was apparent that the ship was either equipped with an AI or a VI and was able to answer any questions.

[[Objective Complete! Chapter 1: Finished]]

Chapter 2: Shakedown

[[Current Objective: Meet the other crew members, and converse with them. Play nice. Secondary Objective: Get your checkup from the Doc]]

Hackett had walked Elektra to the Exector and passed the initial security checkpoints, clearing her boarding on the ship. As he entered, he heard the ships AI speaking. "Relax. It's just the computer answering questions. If you thought I was able to fly this ship on my own, you'd be wrong, so when I contracted Space Dynamics to build this thing, I had them install an AI into the computer. She's simplified, but I'm hoping to expand her capabilities in the future. Speaking of Space Dynamics, that's our first client. In exchange for new weapons and equipment, we're going to guard an important convoy to Katina." He finished his speech, tossing his tablet onto the bar counter. "It isnt for a few days, so sit back, relax, get to know each other, and while youre at it, the drinks a free. Just dont make a mess." he said. He leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes, taking a bit of a rest. "Comptuer, prepare for departure. If you ladies and gents have anything back at home, tell me now."

   Ansam walked toward the command module. He caught Ryan in view.

   "Hackett, is that everyone? Why do I have the feeling we're leaving someone behind?"

   Ansam always had a gut feeling since he was a child, sort of a sixth sense if you will. Somehow, he knew.

Hackett opened his eyes for a second as he did indeed forget someone. "Computer, belay order!" A tone was made in response that signified that the command was followed. The ship was still docked. "You're right. The Doc isnt on board yet. If you hadn't had said something, we'd have left him behind." He tapped a few controls on his tablet and set Doc a message.

Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!

Magic words were said.

He propped up from the couch and headed with the intention of taking taht bar's virginity. The distinctive crackle of the bottle's cap indicated the fox wasn't bluffing.

Lennox then proceeded to pour some of the Fortunan herbal liqueur he managed to find with some tonic water. He needed that warm fuzzy feeling to contrast the planet's cold.

What was that about Katina and someone missing again?

Doc makes his way onto the ship. He takes time to observe his surroundings before heading to the med bay and looking through what he has at his disposal.

Doc would find high grade medical tools ranging from every scapal known to man, including laser scalpals, to an MRE device. It was all top of the line equipment that would put local hospitals to shame. In addition, Hackett left him a note saying if anything there was missing to let him know, and that he would work to have his medical license reinstated.

In the meanwhile, Hackett himself had grabbed a small cup of fro-yo from the freezer, one of a few that he picked up labled "DO NOT EAT." He grabbed a spoon and started savoring the creamy sweetness that Fichina's finest had to offer. In between scoops, he finally gave the command. "Computer, prepare for departure. Set time to thirty minutes." He looked to Elektra. "We'll pick up your ship in orbit of thats fine."

   Ansam was at the boarding ramp just as it was about to close. He saw something in the snow, a shape.

   "I think I see something."

   He walked further on the ramp and saw it was someone holding a yellow flier, waving while running. Ansam waves back, urging whoever is out there to hurry.

Dimitri had finally found the spaceport, making a beline to dock 4. Running an waving the flyer round, he yells "Hey, I've got one of those dogone flyers!" When he see the man waving back at him, urging him to hurry. As Dimitri reaches the man he shows him the flyer. "Is this where I come for this?" He says, clacking his boots on the ramps, riding them of the snow.

Star entered the ship, dragging her suitcase along with her. Looking to her left, she saw a couple people who obviously were gunna be her teammates for the while, and to the right was a long hallway. Deciding to go look for a restroom to change into something more casual and comfortable, she ventured off, opening any door she could to try and find one.

"Geezus, this ship is fucking huge!" she commented, soon coming up to another room. Star opened the door and found what she was looking for.

"Fina-fucking-lly"! She entered the bathroom and closed the door behind her and coming out in black, military boots, jeans, a black tank top, and a navy blue, zip up hoodie. Quickly, Star placed her prior outfit within her suitcase and went back to where the others sat, finding a comfy looking chair and sitting in it.

Hackett was sitting in one of the seats at the dining table in the lounge, leaned back and eyes closed. He opened his eyes and turned to see the two talking. "You here to talk business or join up?" he asked, looking rather gruff at the moment.

Ashlin continued to toy with the blueprint, making corrections here, adjustments there, calculating for recoil and other contributing factors. When she was saticfied with the outcome, and an almost diffrent rifle sat on the screen infront of her, she shutoff her PDA and looked at her team around her. Almost all of them, with the exception of one primate, were canines. They looked more of like a ragtag group, but hey, they were mercs.

She reached down to her bookbag and ruffled through it, pulling out a bottle of homebrewed cactus liquor. The stuff at the bar might of been high end and expensive,  but nothing could beat the liquid she contained in this shiny purple bottle. Feeling as it was a good time to crack it open in a sort of celebration, she got up and headed over to the bar to find a shot glass.

Zephir tried to remember if anything was missing. Well there was one thing. He turned to the door after Hackett was done want jogged to where he first met him. He picked up a suitcase he left and brought it back with him, and straight away went to the bar. The suitcase was moderately large and near square, black as space too.

He entered the bar and saw everyone talking, conversing. He moved to an empty chair, placed his suitcase next to him, and took out a small metal case. Removing a tuff of bundled up plant fiber and leaves and placed it inside his pipe. When igniting it with his pipe alone failed, he attempted using a match from his shoe. Then he motioned for a drink, continuity watching everyones reaction.

Lennox saw the wolf prepping for a smoke. Not everyone in the underground smoked with pipe.

"Oi, Didn't know dogs could also smoke nip..." He said to the newcomer at the bar, keeping in mind he was trying to keep his gaelic facade and accent as much as he could go with it. He was comissioned to do his handiwork in Gaedel so many times in the past he could charade perfectly as what was his moral and ethnic opposite. He was still in his jacket and long hair hidden and tied within it, and jet black cats were one of the most common felines that habitated that icky side of Corneria, so it was an easy task, he considered.

Zephir would find that there was no one there to bring him a drink. He'd need to get it himself.

"Hmm...?" He realized he was the only one smoking so it must be him the feline is talking to. "Oh yes." Zephir responded flicking out the match. "I find that it helps to clear out the mind and to easily pursue focus." He took his pipe out to speak more clearly. "So ... what brings you here?" Reaching over the counter and grabbing a bottle, removing the cork from the top.
