(Ansam to Dimitri)

"Long before the Lylat War, before things got fuzzy with Andross. Business was good, clients willing to come up front with cash. After the war the CDF had a larger presence in the system. Then the clients dwindled preferring to take orders in secrecy out back of speakeasies and alleyways, then they all but disappeared all together. I was young, working in a bear market, clawing for cash when I got this big deal from a Colonel named Devich Raddel. He had a...special taste, one I later regretted ever signing on for. Just think, a CDF Colonel in the proudest fleet in Cornerian military, a pedophile. Needless to say it got me a little pissed, using my ship to transport products for his child prostitution campaign. I don't remember much of what happened. I guess I killed a few CDF officers and got the hell out of there. Raddel has been putting up wanted posters of me cause I know too much about him and his double life. What am I doing now? Hmmm, running I guess."

Doc looked at the line gathering outside the med bay. He looked over the list he had. A good number of them were outside. He let Ryan in first. "Ryan Hackett. A Red Fox at 40 years of age." He looks over his medical history. "You've led a fairly healthy life. A bit light in weight in your early years but your file mentions being orphaned. Hm?" Doc rereads Ryan's history. "Hmm. And then a interesting turn. Very well. We will discuss your latest entry in private."

Doc starts getting out his tools, a stethoscope, a knee hammer and so on. "Anything you want to tell me? Any other conditions or anything you've noticed you think I should look at?"

Dimitri looked at Ansam, somewhat shocked. "I never knew that about the guy. Guess his closets packed with skeletons." Now riding his faced of the expression. "Now that ya mention him hanging wanted posters, I saw some spread out all over Corneria before I left for Kantina, I think I saw only one there, but I tore it off the fence it hung on." He says, leaning his neck side to side. cracking like a string of fire crackers

Hackett looked at Doc with a bit a vulnerability in is his eyes, but a bit of fire as well. "Examine the others first. I want to make sure we dont have any problems." He looked down the line with a bit of a glare. "And if any of you lies or tries to fake your results, Im tossing you in the brig and letting you off at the next outpost. I dont want you kids dying in the middle of a job." He leaned over and looked at the ground, thinking.

Ansam nods to Hackett as he leaves and turns back to Dimitri. "You're next aren't you?"

The smuggler tosses the magazine on the table in front of him, bored out of his mind. He leans back slouching in his chair tapping the armrests with his fingers. It was then he looked up and saw the wall mounted TV.

   "Oooo, satellite, cable?"

"I dunno." Dimitri says in reply to Ansam, nodding to Hackett. "Depends on who he calls next I guess." Now pullin his revolver just enough to take a round out the the cylinder. Sliding it back in its holster, twisting the round in his hand. "Dunno, I'm thinking satellite, being on a ship and all."

(Ansam to Hackett)

"Ahhh, net but a little more EXTRA. I like that."

Ansam looked casually around the room at the others that waited for their eventual turn. He was the third to get to the medbay and the next Dimitri. Vainly he searched through the magazines again after not finding the remote for the Extranet TV. Ansam wasn't into new technology as long as it held his interest long than ten seconds and would move on to something more practical.

"This is getting strenous, can someone go in with the poor doctor already?"

Doc taps his foot. "It doesn't matter who I get so long as I get through all of you. You there, Dimitri, right? You were here after Ryan. Get in here."

Doc opens his file. "Dimitri West, A Husky at 25 years of age." He looks through the pages. "Seems fine so far. BMI fluctuates in some reports. I take it you do exercise at least semi-regularly. Hmm. No serious diseases. An allergy that cleared after childhood. Alright."  With his tools already out, Doc is ready to begin. "Anything I should know about? Surgeries that were documented? Anything you'd like to ask about?"

After the announcement was made and Dimitri departed, Ashlin left the bar to recollect her things. She picked up her backpack and rifle from were she sat earlier and made her way to the bunking area, walking down the line of doors until she found her room. She would have to spend the time later to organize her things, but for now she just tossed her bag onto the bed, laid her weapon on the dresser, then made her way to the Med Bay. Comming in after Elektra, she took one of the available seats.

Zephir fell, for a bit, unconscious at the bar. He looked to his side to make sure the suitcase was still there and it was. Unwillingly, he brought himself to his feet and dropped off the luggage to his room. He noticed some of the other members were not in the bar or in some of the nearby rooms. Be began his search till he found that most of them were in the med bay. He had this sigh and didn't want this right now. "no... no ..." He mumbled and slowly walked over to a couch. Still mumbling as he landed on the cushion with a thud.

"n ... no ..." And off he went.

"There is one thing, back on Katina when I'd just became a sheriff, someone shot a little .022 rim fire aiming for my head, but it went into my thigh. Obviously the guy never aimed a gun before, but I had exploratory surgery to remove it. Other than that, nothin' left to say or ask." Dimitri says, placing his hand on the spot where he had the surgery.

"An actual bullet? Hmm, a bit antiquated in this day and age of lasers but..." Doc thinks over what he's seen before as well as this outfit's general armament. "It looks like those types of weapons are coming back in style. Either way, thanks for letting me know. Ow then, let's begin." Doc performs his checkup. Height, weight, reflexes, hearing, sight and the like. "Alright then, pee into this and come back with the sample. I trust you'll be honest about such a simple test, right? Also, be prepared to fast a short while on a later day so I can get a clean blood sample." He hands him a sample cup. "Once you bring me the urine sample, you're done. And send in whoever wants to go next while you're at it. "

"Alrighty, you can trust me most definitely." Dimitri says, taking the cup; and walking to the nearest bathroom. As he lock the door he try's urinating into the cup. "Knew I shouldn't have wrote my name in the snow,-" He says to himself as nothing come out for a few seconds. then it does. "-looks like the well aint dry though." Finishing up, washing his hands and taking the cup back to the Doc. "Hey Ash, you're next." He says to her, walking back into the room. "Where do ya want me to put this Doc?"

"Just give it here." Doc replies. Once he has it, he writes on the label and then stores the cup away. "I'll let you know if the tests come back with any issue. Until then, you're free to go until someone or something blasts a hole in you. Stay healthy, Dimitri."

Already? Ashlin got up and entered the room after Dimiti had left. "Hey Doc." she said, stuffing her hands in her pockets.

"Ok,-" He says, handing him the cup, listening to what he said. "Alrighty, I will Doc. C'ya around." Dimitri continues, now walking out of the medbay. He wondered around again until he found the lift, taking it back up a floor. He checks the ramp, seeing that his bags had arrived. Bringing them in he found his assigned room. "Here we go." he says, tossing his suitcase and rifle to the side, laying back onto the bed; becoming relaxed.

Needless to say Ansam was distracted and didn't hear Dimitri leave. He did see Ashlin walk into the Doc's office.

"Oops. Its alright, I'll go when shes done."

"Wait, we're supposed to piss in cups?"

He looked to Ansam and with a tired look. "Is that a problem?" he asked, propping his head up with his arm.

Already? Ashlin got up and entered the room after Dimiti had left. "Hey Doc." she said, stuffing her hands in her pockets.

"Hello Ashlin. Sit down." Doc replies. "Ashlin Thorne. A Desert Fox at 24 years of age. Keen eyesight developed during puberty. Some doctor's comments. Overall, a fairly clean health record save a case of chicken pox way back when. Ancient history now though." He prepares his equipment for a new patient. "Anything else I should know or you have questions about?"

"Well, if you take a blood sample your more likly then not going to find traces of fire scorpion venom in my blood stream. Just dont worry about that, its not a lethal amount I made sure." She said taking a seat.
