DZComposer
Any of you who play guitar want to give a shot at providing the backing track for the bard song?Note: I'm looking for acoustic guitar.I don't play guitar and my strumming guitar sound sounds obviously fake. I have provided the chord progression and the music for the voice line. I'm not giving tabs because I also want to hear what strumming patterns you guys think should be with the song.No guarantee I'll use any of the auditions, but I'm more likely to if the recording quality is good.EDIT: Appearently Key of Ab is difficult. Here it is in G:http://www.dzcomposer.com/betamusic/bard-g.pdfHere is a mockup using canned strumming loops (barf...): http://www.dzcomposer.com/betamusic/ep4_bardsong.mp3(Key of Ab)Original Ab version:http://www.dzcomposer.com/betamusic/bard.pdfERROR: That Bb7sus4 should be an Eb7sus4
Arashikage
I've never played guitar before, but I could give it a shot. Also I have a friend who plays guitar that might like to do this part.
Dr. Orange
>all flats Jeez this is going to kill fingers but I'll shoot.
Clearwater
If it's something I can do in FL Studio (Even though I haven't actually got a guitar), I'll give it a shot and see what I come out with.
DZComposer
That kind of defeats the purpose, though. I'm trying to avoid using a sampler here.
Hidi
I haven't posted because I don't want to feel like a peanut gallery, but I have something you might like.I need to finish learning the chords, and not have four games in four nights. Dr. Orange
The worst thing is the Eb7sus4. The honest worst feel when moving from Bbm.
DZComposer
EDIT: Would it help if I transposed it down to key of G instead of Ab? http://www.dzcomposer.com/betamusic/bard-g.pdf
Dr. Orange
I am allowed to do G key! Well I don't need to cry anymore. EDIT: Hang on I found my capo. I may pull off the Ab key yet! In other news, the capo was with 10 dollars and an old violin chin rest in an old case.
Dr. Orange
I have two. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9OyALlm5S8-SFVLSFZkZW1aZEE/edit?usp=sharing Higher quality, harder to hear without boosting the amp to yes. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9OyALlm5S8-aFZQMk5DX1N4VWM/edit?usp=sharing Lower quality, higher volume without shooting the amp up. That and both have their own unique strumming and etc. These are just examples also BTW.
