Dr. Wilopolis
I finally get a scanner.. So, please tell me how ya like meh pics. A pic of Dr.W... The weapon sucks, but I went more for his charrie design. An RE4 fanart... Guess who? I got a few words wrong, as well as the make-up, but over-all, I think it's all right... A self-portrait. Me, in anime style, double wielding twin rods. My made-up charrie for Guilty Gear... Syringe-sama! Inspired partially by Fanny from Guilty Gear Petit. A charrie for a made-up game of mine... Arrgh, got the Delta sign upside-down... Guilty Gear fanart of Faust, holding one of his dreaded bombs... Better run away, kiddies... And, finally, a pic of Panther cosplaying as Johnny from GuiltyGear... Per'aps I should put it in the SF fanart section? Ahh... Oh, well...I hope I may be forgiven for my mistake... It's also my first time doin' Johnny's outfit, so I might do an updated version with all of the little details of Johnny's outfit for theSF fanart section... coincedentally, it's also my first Panther pic. Weird, ne? And thusly, this is my first entry of my piccies... I'll draw more soon. And if anyone happens to like my artstyle, feel free to PM me a request. I'm always looking for ways to improve my drawing skills... Also, please comment on these pics, please! That is all... *bows*
TakeWalker
Eh, this is fine here. And not bad arts, honestly, I've seen far worse. You're on the right track, just keep working on your form and character and whatever.
Infinity
Hmm yes, you're doing alright. However, you have a few anatomy quirks here and there, although I'm not one to talk. Be afraid... very afraid of teh hands.
Leo K. Lighthouse
Well from what I see here, you need some practice but it's not because your bad at Drawing your good with curves and most of the time proportion and, your really good at shading, I don't know if your legal age yet but some life drawing would do you tons of good, otherwise I sudgest getting a miniture mannequin. you seem to like the flat-faced style of Furries(for lack of a better word) although I prefer other styles myself your good at that style, as for the weapons you seem to be having trouble with straight lines, DO NOT resort to using a ruler it won't help, just sketch and erase, sketch and erase blurry lines won't matter after you start inking... I'm done for now, Good luck! Ps: What kind of drawing do you want to do, hobby or career? I'm just wondering how seriously your thinking about this... Dr. Wilopolis
Thanks for all of the positive comments, and the critique. To answer your question, Leo, I plan on doing my art in the future, probably as a career. But, I do a rather cartoony style, which is why I don't strive to be life-like. I want to do anime, so I personally am trying to draw in that art form. But, don't worry, I'll keep practicing. Thanks again for the nice comments. :nervous:
Leo K. Lighthouse
Cool, but I might have misheard you when you said "I don't strive to be life-like", if you meant to disregard what I said about the life drawing I mostly just meant you have to work on your elbows, knees, and baggy clothing... Edit: and then I realised you might not know what Life drawing is, do you?
Ludvig11
Not bad at all, It's pretty good! you seem to like the flat-faced style of Furries(for lack of a better word) It's often called Anthro, even tought that means "Human" in latin..
Leo K. Lighthouse
ya, that's kind of what I meant. I already new that, and I don't like to call them Anthros...
Dr. Wilopolis
Cool, but I might have misheard you when you said "I don't strive to be life-like", if you meant to disregard what I said about the life drawing I mostly just meant you have to work on your elbows, knees, and baggy clothing... Edit: and then I realised you might not know what Life drawing is, do you? Ahh, a tiny misunderstanding. Sorry, sorry. ;;;; I tend to not think sometimes. Leo K. Lighthouse
No Problem, I wasn't to clear on what i meant, mabye I shouldn't have used Artist jargon, I'm not too qualified in that area...
Dr. Wilopolis
An update, with more pics... Lyle, obviously from my bio-weapon RP that died a long time ago. *shrug* It's decent, I guess. And yes, the arms look too long. But, in reality, noone, anthromorph or human, grow to 9' 6" in height either... Those bandages falling over the front are obviously there for censorship purposes. And I know, the legs suck. But I'm still improving on limbs. A pic I drew just today... I was rushed near the end, so that's why Lodakai sucks. But I like how Xian (Pronounced like 'Shen') turned out... I just need to do the folds 'n' all that... Heh, they're a couple of charries I might release more info about later... An A.B.A fanart. I got a few things wrong, but then again I never use references. It was all done by memory... So some bandages're missing. But I like her hair. Hehe. But Paracelsus was done all wrong... *sigh* Yet another self-portrait. I think it's a good pic... Maybe... Well, anyway... You can see the remains of some o' my anime emotions that I TRIED to erase. With art gum. XDD Well, I improved on the legs. And the hand. Heh, though I need to make the pocket bolder. And I spenta good bit of time shading it. (2-3 minutes. XD)
Dr. Wilopolis
Well, may seem like a waste of time, but... Well, hopefully someone might comment on this pic, oh, btw, sorry for the double-post ahead of time. Bit of concept art of a charrie I made in an RP named Thomas Ianuki Wilopolis. He's a son of Dr. W, and since the RP hadbeen a GG one, he's also the disciple of I-No. He possesses her destructive urges, as well as several other qualities from I-No. His style, in itself, is a slower, yet, more powerful variant of his mistress'. This art is what would be displayed on the versus screen if he was in GGXX. Someone, please do comment.
Wicked Nox
Cool guy with an e-guitar, that's an automatic five stars from me! Like the jacket too. Keep it up!
Dr. Wilopolis
Thanks, Nox. Hehe. Well, I have a bunch o' GG sprites, so why not mess with 'em? Beware: The following comic is weird, and my first attempt at a sprite comic... You have been warned... http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/6381/weirdcomiczo4.png
TakeWalker
This may not sound like the highest praise, but I really dig the inset frame in that picture.
Dr. Wilopolis
Eh... It be my first work with sprites in that manner. I usually just do a scene, then that's it.

Dr. Wilopolis
I apologize for the double-post. Just updating... I was bored while I did this. It's retarded on purpose. XD The Guilty Gear Time Warp! Huzzah! Guess what it refers to, and you're teh winner! Of what, I have yet to know. And teh second one, Bosch Ryujin! A charrie of mine, and he's a pain-freak/masterkickboxer/master of Muay-Thai. Hehe, he also possesses regeneration. Hopefully it's good. Sorry in advance if there be any offensive matierial on this post. Gomen-nasai! So, I do hope some people comment on meh bad art. XD
Kal
How else you think Axel ended up with all them freaks? Oh wait...
Dr. Wilopolis
World's most horawfibble (You'll get it if you read GameInformer Magazine) drawing ever. XD Me, after knocking Santa out, and stealing the sack of things, and his clothes. Wheeeee! =D Drawn on a sugar rush.
Dr. Wilopolis
Sorry for double post, but few actually comment on my drawings. I wish I knew why people don't comment on 'em if they look at 'em and *insert hour long rant that noone'd listen to anyway because I'm not mad enough to actually rant or anything, I doubt I'm even mad at all. Just a bit saddened.* Well, alright, this time, I be doin' another self portrait... I think it turned out pretty good. Me as an anthro. I had fun doin' this. And, I don't care if everyone on this forum knows my name. XD Just as long as none of you CALL me by it, I won't get mad. Capiche? Good. As you notice, I don't ink my pics. Ever. Because I'm a bum. o_O
Wicked Nox
Cool anthro form! Looks good and looks furry enough too. For some reason I really like the shirt 'cause of those black stripes near the end of the sleeves. The clothes in the full pic look like they're sort'a being blown one direction with the wind, which I think's cool too. Keep it up!
Dr. Wilopolis
Thanks, Nox. Hehe, I love the shirt, too. I wear it as much as I can. I only use clothing I own in my self-pics. Except for the Santa one.
Wicked Nox
Yeah, I try to use most of my own clothing on my self-portraits too. So I guees that in order to draw ourselves differently we need to go and buy new clothes XD. Also, I forgot to comment on it before, but I like the way you do those profile pics in the corner above the full pic of your drawings. ^^
