Actually a bats vision being bad is just an urban myth, there sight is just fine.

Yes that they do, however it would be impossible for them to see in the dark without their sonar, this doesn't mean they're eyesight is bad, that's just a common misconception...

Run 1:  cover bat's eyes, let him fly through some bars.

Result:  bat makes it through easily.

Run 2:  cover bat's ears, repeat.

Result:  bat flies like it's drunk and runs into the bars.

Well, I guess I believed the stereotype when it came to their vision but I know they have great hearing. They do use sonar but to tickle our fancies, it's called echolocation.

I like wolfs but... Im going for other, want to go mythological here... I would choose a Griffin since they are cool looking and also my favorite mythological creature, the feathers will be onyx-ish and silver color, while the fur aspect would be a dull~dark brownish orange.

As is Ramuza, I like wolves, but I'm not choosing them because there's already Lord O'Donnell. I'd choose Praying Mantises, but they're six legged, and I don't know what'll happen to my two extra legs when I'm anthromorphosized. So, I'm choosing the mountain lion/cougar/puma (all same animal with different names). Why? Because no one thought of that, that's why.
