Gestalt
I am giving a speech involving space tourism, and I came across this beautiful footage of progress at Virgin Galactic. If you haven't, you should see this...even without the fancy music, ess pretty cool. So this is a sub orbital flight (goes to space with a trajectory of coming back) think ICBM but with eight people in it (two pilots, six passengers) and no 'sploding. The seats are still 250k but this should, eventually, go down. If orbital tourism ever hits 50k in my life time, I am, for serious, doing it. You can talk about space tourism or gush here I guess.. Icy
I'm just waiting for Earth-Moon tours to start... I'll take one of those for sure.I know a sub-orbital flight would be fun, though. Quite expensive!
Gestalt
Earth-moon would be a matter of days, even if you didn't touch down. Thrilling tho. Can't wait to buy my friends sun tours. They are supposed to be super cheap, being one way and all.
