Zukaro
I AM ANGRY ABOUT THE END THEME OF STAR FOX ADVENTURES. >:V In my opinion, the Star Fox Adventures version of Meteo (I think that's the name of that song, not sure) is the absolute BEST. AND THEN, THEY RUIN IT WITH SHITTY ROCK AND ROLL. >:V It's not that I think the rock and roll bit is bad (despite calling it shitty (I only said that cuz I'm angry at it ;^: )), it's that I wanted to hear the FULL version of the Star Fox Adventures Meteo theme. > It's part of why Star Fox Adventures can never be 100% perfect. ;^; And I absolutely LOVED that game, but there were just a few small things which did not work. Up to about 48 seconds it's good. And then bewm rock music. ;^; It has literally annoyed me since I was a lil robawt fox and first played this game. To this very day. It's also how I ended up finding this site in the first place, as I was trying to find the full version and this place has liek, some jukebox thingy with the Star Fox music I think. So I came here in an attempt to find the full version of the Star Fox Adventures version of the Meteo song which doesn't turn into rock music. ;^; /endrant
Icy
Don't call Great Fox Rock shitty! IT IS AMAZING. If you do it again, I will have to assemble my army of Great Fox Rockers to take you down. I getcha, though. I have no clue if there is a full version of the beginning part. I don't think so, at least... Lastly, we should be friends. You think Star Fox Adventures is amazing, I think Star Fox Adventures is amazing... so yeah.

It's not that I hate the rock, it's that I hate they put it over the Star Fox Adventures Meteo song and then never had a full version of the Meteo song. Zukaro
Erm... Shhhhh :v *ducktapes you up and hides you* But, that version is slightly different from the version I'm talking about. I mean the version of Meteo which plays for the end credits. It's my favourite version. Unless that's nawt Meteo and I'm deaf, which is entirely possible too. BUT REGARDLESS, THAT IS THE SONG I WANT. ;^; The first 48 seconds of the end credits.
DZComposer
The "Great Fox Rock" itself is an arrangement of Meteo. If you're talking about what happens when the fade starts at :48, that was not Meteo. That was the SF64 theme. Here is a more complete version:I need to find/make a better recording of this. The one in the SF-O collection is poorly cut and has sound effects in it.Here is the original SF64 version:http://f.starfox-online.net/sf64/music/content/01-Opening.mp3It made another appearance in Star Fox Assault (It's the second half of the piece):http://f.starfox-online.net/sfas/music/content/40-EndingCreditsThemeReprise.mp3

To the mines with you, away! Nu, I'm saying that I hate that they cut the song I was listening to for it. ;^; I do actually like the song they play, but I dislike that they have to cut off the best version of the Star Fox theme evar with it. ;^; Like all the plotholes? Or the subpar character design? I liked the character designs. I just didn't like how the game began and ended, but everything in between was great. I don't remember if you ever actually get to fight General Scales either, but if you do, he must have been very disappointing considering I can't remember if you fight him or not. I hate how they decided to make Andross the final boss. I'm all for getting in the Arwing and having a fight in space, but I just don't think it makes as much sense for this particular game. General Scales should have been the final boss. Had they actually built up to it being Andross I would have been fine with it, but they didn't. It was "oh you've collected all these magical spiri-ANDROSS!". And I disliked that. But I just love the game so much. ;^; It was such an incredible game and I absolutely love it, but it's just those few small issues that just make it so it's not perfect, when it could have been 100% perfect. I hope another Star Fox Adventures like game is made some day in the Star Fox series. Although personally I'd rather see a more scifi one, but I do occasionally like mixing scifi with fantasy. It's just for the Star Fox universe I think it should be only scifi. Basically what I liked about Star Fox Adventures was you're essentially an alien with advanced technology exploring this planet, and that was fun. As a standalone game it's great, but in the Star Fox series I don't feel that it fits too well.

Why not just listen to that forever instead of complaining about a standard credits medley?
DZComposer
I think the fade is tripping you up. It most definitely is the same piece. Though I do agree that it was a bit of an odd place to cut.If you want a cut to really be upset about, listen to the SFAs cut scene where Fox and Krystal are riding Tricky. You can clearly hear an epic crescendo building there, but it is murdered by the cut-and-fade.My best guess for what happens after here is the music that plays when the orbital gate opens:There is no natural-sounding attack on the first note, which is a clue that there was a cut-and-fade-in here.I recreated both cues using my music software and they work together:http://www.dzcomposer.com/betamusic/trickygate_wip01.mp3
WolfOD64
Well, you'll probably want to summon your battalion of witch-burning clergymen and medieval torturers, because I not only loved this track... ...I also want to see a future Star Fox game with its entire soundtrack done in a rock style.
