Drasiana
It's only taking it "too seriously" when someone else disagrees with you, remember.
Jo Jo SmoOth
Yeah your taking it way tooo serious by Quoting everything I say and listing options I really don't care about . Listen clam down, a remake was just a thought I had. There's nothing anti-logical about a remake being created for a franchise with a stream of bad luck. Faisul
There's nothing anti-logical about a remake being created for a franchise with a stream of bad luck. A remake of a shitty part of the franchise is. Unless it's like Starship Troopers where a douchey director hates the original novel for being fascist militarist apologia and basically adapts it into one of the most (un)intentionally hilarious sci fi movies ever made. I am sorry for holding a conversation with you about a thing that you specifically created a topic to have a conversation in. Next time I will know better than to post in topics that you create, now that I understand that you do not like people replying to ideas you pose on communication-based forums. Silly me, for using a forum to reply to topics.

Jo Jo SmoOth
Quoting me as in everything. Conversation is one thing but arguing over and over that my thought won't happen is not reasonable for ether of us nor were you sharing an idea. You quote me to prove me wrong but I'm sure you've notice I stop caring after the 2nd page. If anything, this helped me boost the amount of post I have xD
Drasiana
I was quoting you so you knew what I was responding to. That's what the quote function is for. But if you were only looking for people to kiss your ass, well, I know not to bother responding to your future topics!
Jo Jo SmoOth
I cant quote because im on my phone but still if I could I wouldn't break everything you said into segments...for every response. You even said you were trying to have a conversation but you weren't. You took it to the point where you had to quote everything in order to prove me wrong even after noticing that I wasn't reading your post. How serious can you get? Drasiana
"You were quoting things in every response! But you WEREN'T trying to have a conversation!" haha okay man whatever you say keep on talking about how much you want an assault remake but refusing to read any of the other posts in the topic, it's been fun but I have better things to do, like smash my head into a brick wall repeatedly
Jo Jo SmoOth
lol yeah last time I remembered you were the one who heated up things here. Even those who did disagree, you were that one person who took it way to serious. Also, an argument is not your typical conversation. Anyways later x)
Dr. Orange
>mfw this thread I love how these topics go from sensible to of the fucking wall. Got to love E3 prep,
Robert Monroe
Dras only got bent up because holding a conversation with you Jojo was like talking to a wall. You proposed a question, answers were given, and then you danced around the issue like a spastic gremlin. I was getting a headache just reading it all. CrypticQuery
Seeing as I dropped off of the face of the Earth for a good few days and this topic is completely new to me, and in an attempt to get this thread re-railed without reading through the last few pages [as I'm sure that they make complete, coherent sense], a remake of Assault would not be the best direction for the franchise IMO. A total reboot of everything couldn't hurt; there's not much there in the first place that's worth saving. Lackluster characterization, plotholes as common as potholes in Detroit, and the list goes on.
Giladen
But which canon would the reboot take more from?
DZComposer
We don't need no stinkin' remakes: http://www.starfox-online.net/page/index.html/_/star-fox-news/star-fox-for-wii-u-confirmed-r123I think sometimes we forget how Nintendo develops games. They come up with the concept first, and then find the franchise of best fit.
Jo Jo SmoOth
Just wanted to apologize for stirring things up here by arguing with Drasiana. I didn't know remaking Assault would cause such negative feedback. Guess I was blinded by nostalgia and was too excited for E3 ... At least Nintendo surprised us with a new Star Fox game this year.
