SF Adventures Landspeeder Chase

In SF Adventures, I am having a hard time getting past the part where I must race 2 bad Dinos on landspeeders. Any tips?

Race them dirty  No seriously, when you bump them they take damage but you don't. The easy way to win is to simply destroy both vehicles (3 bumps to destroy one) If you happen to be ahead of both at the point when you enter the really narrow tunnel that nobody can be passed in, slam on the brakes and smile as both dinos will crash into you from behind guaranteeing you the win

 

If you are racing clean, there should be a split at some point on the track marked by a fallen tree if I remember correctly. I think the left path is faster. It should usually help you eliminate any lead they may have on you.

Whenever I bump one, my landspeeder slows down, and it takes a while to catch up.

But no, memory serves theres a buncha little tunnel shorcuts you can take.

Focus on going through those and hitting the boost pads and you'll be fine.

I think the OP is talking about the first race where the TWO dinos are chasing after "everyone's favorite character" in the previous cutscene. Im assuming this is the case as the other race in the game was three dinos where you were....well, just in case of spoilers I wont say.
