Any NERFers in the House?

Hey all!

Nerf guns are something I got into last year, bc my university has a club for it. At first I wasn't thrilled but it was like 15$ for the entire year, so I gave it a try :) turns out, it's AWESEOME! I've got three nerd guns right now, shared between me and another friend.

My weapon of choice: The Vortex! Makes it easier to wreck :P Terrible aim tho...

...Which is why I have a sidearm! Which is the Triro EX-3. It's a lot more accurate but recently the darts have been falling out, so I need to go in an do some fixie fixin'

The last one I currently own is the Rotator X-8, which ill be using for a cosplay of our much loved Wolf O'Donnell at ConBravo in July! I might post pics if it turns out well and people care to see it :D

It's easily twice the size of what I expected it to be, so it might look a little cartoonish... but I'm hoping with the right coat of paint, I can make it look like a hand cannon, and Wolf is definately the type of guy to own one of those :P

So that about you guys? Any nerfers out there interested in showing off the arsenal, talk about their team, or just weighing in on their fav guns?

Used to. Sold my crap. Airsoft now. Something about making people bleed is fun.

Used to own a ton of Nerf guns and have skirmishes with people. But I haven't touched those in many years because they're inferior to Airsoft guns. Plus I can drive an hour to play Airsoft with over 100 people

When I was younger, I would have NERF fights with my friend at his house. He had the full shebang, from the Maveriks to the minigun (I forgot its name.) Now, I just play Team Fortress 2.

I was going to buy a lot of Mavericks, because people use them ALOT for cosplay purposes

I'm not one to use NERF but I wouldn't mind nerfing a few people. Icy for example.

I've got a small  medium sized arsenal of NERF Guns. They're in storage though, cause I don't really use them.

I originally started using nerf guns because they were cheaper than Airsoft and Paintball. Seven years later I still use them because honestly what isn't fun about them?

I've played airsoft, paintball, and nerf. All three are different activities. While related they play differently and to be honest I almost prefer nerf blasters sometimes because of the ability to use them casually.

That being said, I have an embarrassingly large nerf arsenal that I've accumulated / traded / whatever over the years.

Airsoft shouldn't make people bleed. What kinda guns have you been playing with!?

As for NERF, I used to be really into it. I couldn't bring my gun with me to my university thanks to space issues though. Nowadays, I have a Stryfe and a Strongarm to use but I don't get many chances to use them. I also got an Alpha Trooper after I somehow magically got it to fire again but it really sucks. It may or may not be my first experiment in NERF modding.

It's pretty common for airsoft to make you bleed if you get shot in the hand and/or skin.  Typically the person needs to be anywhere from 0-20ft away from you for that to happen (assuming they're using a gun around 400fps). Unless they're using a sniper rifle(500-550fps), then they can do it from about 40ft.
