Owner/Technical Admin Sideways Posted June 30, 2014 Owner/Technical Admin Share Posted June 30, 2014 My apologies if this is in the wrong place. Feel free to move it, if you wish. So i was given an Adaptec Gamebridge 1410 by a friend a while ago. Never got around to trying to use it. Finally got it working about an hour ago. The first thing I did to test it was play Starfox 64. Here's the video if anyone wants to see it. All I did was play through Corneria. I could use this tool to make video walkthroughs or things like that, perhaps. What do you think?
LazerMaster5
What is a Gamebridge? It sounds like a handheld.
Owner/Technical Admin Sideways Posted June 30, 2014 Author Owner/Technical Admin Share Posted June 30, 2014 It's a small USB device you plug into your computer that records from a composite/s-video source.
LazerMaster5
Cool. So will it let me play my PS2 and have the audio and video input go through my PC onto my monitor and through my speakers?

valkiriforce
I had a gamebridge device from back in 2008 when I recorded a ton of SSBB videos along with Conker: Live & Reloaded among other things. It became incompatible with newer computers with not but a virtual machine being the only option. So I've given mine up a couple years ago for free, sadly. I enjoyed it while it lasted though and wish I would bother to bring myself to record more games.
Owner/Technical Admin Sideways Posted July 27, 2014 Author Owner/Technical Admin Share Posted July 27, 2014 I use mine with an older laptop that originally ran Vista. Running XP and it works well.
