BIade
;_;7 I know others from OTG are here somewhere. Let's take a moment to mourn, shall we?

DZComposer
Wow... I guess Puffy finally tired of paying for it.Even though the community was dead, it served as a window into the past of this once-great fandom. This really is a sad day for the Star Fox fanbse. For those that don't know, that was the very first Star Fox community I joined and was the first online community I seriously participated in.Godspeed, OTG. Rest in Peace.EDIT:The domain still has over a year left in registration, though.Monospaced Text Domain Name: SFX64.COMRegistry Domain ID: 23548119_DOMAIN_COM-VRSNRegistrar WHOIS Server: whois.godaddy.comRegistrar URL: http://www.godaddy.comUpdate Date: 2013-03-27 20:42:12Creation Date: 2000-03-28 10:50:23Registrar Registration Expiration Date: 2016-03-28 09:50:23 Of course that doesn't necessarilly mean the site is only temporarily down. It was renewed for three years in 2013, and to do so is cheap. Hosting is where the costs come from, and that is where the account was suspended. We'll see, though. Maybe Puffy will pay after all.
Patch93
That's truly a shame to hear that. :C While I wasn't there during it's time, I first read the Itoh comic through that site back when I was in middle school. I also remember using one of the wallpapers they had up there for a while and reading a ton of terrible fanfiction that hadn't aged well. XD R.I.P. OTG. The legacy of that site will never be forgotten.

Whisket
I'll miss OTG, I was Jagged on the site and I think sometime this year would have been 10 years there making me 12 when I found it. OTG was probably one of the first places on the internet that I was schooled on internet etiquette by several of it's members. Good times, yo I'll miss the RP's done by Tasker, Stonehenge and Panzerwolf. That shit was a golden as it gets. R.I.P OTG
BIade
Although it was largely due to Puffy mostly just not being there, I enjoyed the lack of moderation the board had(though that was for better or for worse). Sometimes things got out of hand, but that's how things were. I remember the Geno, Prism Lightblade, Juju, jaguar Janks, and a multitude of other things. Not to mention this thing:
Robert Monroe
AND THUS THE WORLD TAKES FROM ME ANOTHER PART OF MY FANDOM AWAY seriously, SFX64.com is how I -found- Starfox. Read the comics there, looked at ALL the fanart... it was a tight knit community back then. I was on OTG, but I was just a kid then... damn. Looks like SF-O might end up being the only Starfox communinty left at this rate.

valkiriforce
I remember that site from way the hell back when I posted on the Arwing Landing forums in 2005. I always remember it for some of the first Star Fox fan artwork I'd seen. Otherwise, the rest of it is foggy in my mind.
Patch93
At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if AL has the same fate as OTG sooner or later. Practically no one uses it anymore except for spambots.

Drasiana
They were two other Star Fox sites that sputtered out and died. Maybe you shouldn't claim something is off-topic in the same breath that you admit you don't know what it's referring to.
DZComposer
Can anybody here tells me what is AL and OTG, although this thread is NOT for this?OTG ("Outside The Greatfox") is the forum for the site sfx64.com. The site is offline, so no point and going there.AL ("Arwing Landing") is another Star Fox fansite ( http://www.arwinglanding.net ) that started around the same time as SF-O.com did. It's still around, but their forums aren't very active any more.
unoservix
i'm surprised stealthfox still pays for the servers on that thing. maybe it's an experiment in what happens when you get a forum populated entirely by spambots. do they develop intelligence and start talking to each other? has AL become a spambot society? what happens if a spambot successfully gets another spambot to click on its link? the implications are staggering. Last time I checked up on the spambot society one had made its own thread, and only used that thread to try and sell cookbooks and other self-help sort of books. It never left that thread, just being a polite little spambot doing its own thing in the corner.

Whisket
I'm sure there is a rule against reviving dead threads or something but for anyone who is still there and also interested in the site ...
