I've attended today, I'm working tomorrow but heading back on the Sunday. I have lots to report! But for now I just wanted to make this topic so that I can add to it later.

If anyone has anything they want me to check out and give an opinion on, may as well ask me and I'll do my best on Sunday.

Things I have already participated in:

Alien Isolation

Super Smash Bros. WiiU and 3DS
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker

Nosgoth

I'll talk more about those soon, I'm just back home and I'm completely pooped. I go to bed now.

If they have it, check out Epic Games' booth. I'd love to hear your impressions on Fortnite and Unreal Tournament 4 if they have it. Perhaps any of Sony's new stuff, LittleBigPlanet 3 and the like.

Also for the love of all that is good, go play Star Citizen and tell us all about it. Any modules they have available there. Play them. Any impressions. That game hngh

Aww this post came too late, I was already gone by then!

I didn't really meet anyone famous this year but I did get chatting to someone who personally worked on Alien Isolation and he was such a good guy. I just kept telling him how much I love this game and I kept going back to play the demo, it's addictive and terrifying. I went back to him at the end of the day to thank him for his work, for being at GamesCom, etc. because this was what made it for me this year. R3d and I are getting a new PC just for this game.

I ended up entering a SSB3DS competition, and getting through to the final round. I was okay with it until the "Battle Tower" show began, where contestants ended up being broadcast to the entire Nintendo area on a talk-show/game-show thing. I freaked out, because when I entered the competition, the show wasn't on and I figured that since it was Sunday, perhaps it wouldn't air at all. But as I waited in line, it began. I took ill and ran to the ladies' room while half way through the waiting-line for the final round, and then when I was about to mount the stairs to participate in my battle, I had a panic attack and went back a few spaces in line. I was completely crippled by stage fright.

I was actually so ready to burst into tears but everyone in line was looking at me and wondering what the hell I was doing and I just wanted the ground to swallow me up hahahaha. Anyway, I met a group of really nice staff members from Zelda Universe, they asked if I was okay and if I needed anything. They were all really nice people, and I explained myself to them because I didn't want them thinking I was trying to skip the line or something. I just needed to get away from the stage, and R3d said he'd play in my place. Anyway, after chatting with them for a while, they offered R3d and I a spare entry to the Battle Tower so that we could go on stage together, which was very, very kind of them. When I did play, they cheered me on, and when I felt like just dropping my controller and leaving, I instead sort of focused on their presence and how they gave us an extra entry, how I didn't want to waste that. Some good people right there.

I'll discuss the games more later on, I've not been online for 2 days and I have loads of stuff to catch up on. D:
