Drasiana
Just what it says. Make a list of things you want in SFU based on what we already know about it! Doesn't have to be too in-depth or anything, just point form "I'd like this", also don't slap each other either Mine: -Post-64 reboot of course -Katt should be in it and should also be pink still -Customizable ship stats/weapons that can be carried into multiplayer mode (Amiibos??) -Blue Marine! Will the Arwing transform into it like the Landmaster? -Maybe some on-foot sections that are good and have the same sense of action/structure as rails levels -Krystal, Panther and Lucy, but introduced in ways that aren't dumb this time -Small thing but clarification on what Lylat actually looks like and how many planets we're really dealing with (Papetoon? Eladard? Wtf was Kew?) -Seems like a pipe dream but the weird co-op with the Arwing got me wondering...Customizable team aspects! Who do you want to be the gunner/pilot? Are you going to have this person on the ground or in the air? And then having their individual stats. That would be neat. I'll probably add more to this but yeah what else do you guys wanna see?

Drasiana
Actually I thought the Arwing/Landmaster on-rails thing was confirmed to be a Thing? Or was that just me extrapolating my greatest desires? Because yes that would be awesome.
ArwingFan
-Landmaster and Blue Marine -New vehicles are welcome -No wonky gyroscope controls -Alternating paths, similar to 64's -The mysterious atmosphere from the snes games -Story is rebooted, game takes place after 64 -Multiplayer similar to Assault's
Gestalt
I know the transformation was confirmed, but not I'm sure if it was "on-rails" or a valley thing or both.
LazerMaster5
Improved on-ground mechanics. I liked how Assault incorporated on-foot combat into the mix, but the controls felt kind of half-assed, especially when you compare it to other shooters at its time, like Half-Life 2 or the Halo series.
Patch93
Personally I'd like to hear a brand new soundtrack in the style of the SNES games' music, rock/techno music on planet levels and orchestra in outer space. Getting an actual band and an actual orchestra to compose the music would be excellent. An updated cover/remix of the SNES Corneria theme and a few other themes would be cool, but for the most part I would like to hear an original soundtrack. Throwbacks to certain elements of the SNES canon would be nice too. Also, either make it a true sequel to SF64 rendering Adventures-Command non-canon or make it an alternate sequel to SF64 starting a new timeline set after defeating Robot Andross. It would be awesome to have Fara, Miyu and Fay make an appearence, but that's really just wishful thinking. Properly executed on-foot gameplay that doesn't take up a majority of the game and a properly introduced Krystal would be completely fine by me.
psy_commando
- I'd like some variety in the weaponry on the arwings. Like some way to "branch" the way your main weapons upgrade with each blaster upgrade powerup! I still miss the epic blaster canons of doom you could get with the lvl 3 upgrade in SF SNES! - I wish they'd recycle/re-use Fara, Miyu, Fay, Desura, Bear, Katt, Bill ! And maybe that random adjutant guy from the SF:Ass concept art! - I want to fly inside bigger ship with my ship and destroy it from the inside like in sf snes ! - I want some cool obstacle course like SF snes ! - I want to keep a good chunk of the cheesy lore from SF SNES ! The from Space Whale, Black hole, to Pepper and his lolipops, and everything in between ! Having James actually in the Whale would be great! And it would also allow pigma to be his own character not bound to being a "utility bad guy" I guess. - I'd like to have an epic Arwing VS Battleship medieval joust-like battle, like in SF SNES vs the great commander ! - On foot would be nice ! I just wish they'd try to make good on-foot gameplay. Preferably not involving barrel dispensers on space stations, please.. - I'd like if they kept the telekinectic amplifier and Andross not being actually a huge floating head! But those plate thing controlled by telekinesis like in SF SNES! - I'd like if they'd make the landmaster easier to control / more responsive! And a lot more, that I can't remember right now XD
LazerMaster5
Arwings that have some good speed to them. Maybe also some assassination missions. Star Fox is a mercenary team, after all.
Vy'drach
While I know it won't happen, something akin to Metal Gear Solid 2's Casting Theater. MGS only had it in cutscenes, but imagine if rather than playing through the game as Fox, you instead saved the day as Leon with Slippy leading the infamous Star Wolf team? Here's Casting Theater in action. Video quality isn't great, but you get the idea. Of course I'd want it to extend to actual gameplay, but if it's anything like older Star Fox games, that wouldn't be too hard, just swap character models and talking heads. Dialogue of course remains unchanged. It's a silly thing for fun, don't need to have every VA record every line of dialogue separate. And of course, like Casting Theater, it requires you to beat the game normally first.
Battlechili
-Continues from where Assault left off -Good mix of on rail aerial combat, free flying aerial combat, free roaming landmaster combat, and on foot segments with the ability to switch between some of them mid battle in some cases -On foot segments must play more like a normal 3rd person shooter (basically less...odd than Assault's on foot) -More focus on story with nothing that completely disregards what personalities the characters are supposed to have (AKA no Command tier story where the team breaks up when there's no way they would that simply) -Explain character backgrounds; it somehow explains the history of each of the characters and how they got where they are now (information on Krystal pre Adventures, why Falco was ever part of a gang, why Pigma betrayed Fox's father, etc) -Allows you to travel around, explore planets, and talk to people without necessarily having to be in a mission -Lots and lots of worldbuilding; explains what the different creatures of different planets are, what people's cultures are, how things work in universe that are different from our own, etc. -Long lasting gameplay (WAY longer than 64 and longer then Assault please. 10 levels is not enough) -Composers are Yoshi Arakawa and Yoshimori Kanemoto with music done using a real orchestra -No Andross as a bad guy -Sound Test mode in the options where I can listen to whatever track from the OST I want -Fay and Miyu appear in this canon for the first time EDIT: -Option to switch between the Japanese and English voice acting -Super Smash Bros. Brawl actors for the English voice actors -Developed by Nintendo itself, though if not them, then Namco-Bandai -No cuts when brought to America (some animation was removed from the briefing scenes when Assault was brought over) No really though I want more worldbuilding. WORLDBUILDING. Something on the level of Final Fantasy XII or Solatorobo: Red the Hunter, where worldbuilding was off the wall and everything was super detailed. Patch93
One more thing I'd like to add, please make All-Range Mode missions better this time around. Don't make them boring and repetitive like the ones in 64, Assault and Command. Give actual depth and structure to them like how SF2 pulled it off.
unoservix
I JUST WANT SOME PANTS A DECENT PAIR OF PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANTS also voice acting that has more hilarious stupid shit in it like Star Fox 64 plzkthxbai
Patch93
Guys, try and imagine a Corneria cover in the style of this: Foly huck my pants would explode.
LazerMaster5
If you had space battles like in Star Wars Battlefront 2, that would be epic. Online multiplayer would be awesome for this, as you have soldiers from Corneria and Venom, and when you do well enough, you can play as more powerful characters. The transition between space flight and ground combat needs to be fast and fluid. We need widescale space battles, ones that stretch the WiiU hardware to its full extent. Drasiana
Topic update because I know something else I want in SFU. A continuation/explanation of Once again, this is based on a Google translation, but it seems to say "I shouldn't say this too loud, but according to my father, Beltino Toad, who is an engineer, Mr. DePon is a scheming Tanuki. He trades weapons in the darkness." If I'm reading this correctly, it seems to say that DePon is selling weapons on the black market. Holy shit. This could mean that Space Dynamics was playing on both sides of the war.
Arminius H O Fiddywinks
Farcry series meets Battlefield series with Star Fox railshooting, Fallout-esque on-foot gameplay, space battles like those in Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (as LazerMaster mentioned above), cover mechanics like in 007: Quantum of Solace (but less sticky), and stealth gameplay like Metal Gear Solid. And they should bring back all the locales in 64. IGN will probably complain that there's too much space. *Probably like how they complained about too much water in a certain new Pokemon game. A lot of other people already listed on this thread what I was going to say. WAY TO GO, GUYS!
Gestalt
- Inclusion of the SSB reflector and/or reference to the technology of it
Drasiana
^ This is a good idea. Actually, damn. Incorporating all the Smash abilities would be a really good idea, using them could be integral to ensuring that any on-foot segments are as structured and entertaining as Arwing levels. Why? Because the abilities can easily be seen as equivalent to Arwing functions. Reflector is the barrel roll, Illusion is the boost, and Fire Fox would I guess is its own thing though I suppose you could argue a bomb equivalency since I see it being used as a "take out lots of dudes at once" thing. It would really make things more interesting than Call of Duty: Lylat or a repeat of Assault, anyways.
DZComposer
- Inclusion of the SSB reflector and/or reference to the technology of itAlready kind of happened in SFAs. They just called it a "barrier" instead, though. And it wasn't all that useful.
Gestalt
Well, I'm hoping that it would be fully styled after SSB, and a usefulness on par with say the barrel roll would be an added bonus. Fire Fox and illusion too? yummy. They could pull of some real jazzy camera work with that in mind. Since the Awring game-play is dependent the camera and perspective, I wouldn't mind seeing that out of foot missions as well (instead of lol cod-mode because foot missions)
geoprimedonna
The comeback of "old" but beloved tunes A better ending The comeback of Fay and Miyu, and the intro of new characters An a la Assault mixed with 64 gameplay Better character rending and more realistic ships I'm good...
