Clearwater
(Hm, there seems to be a bug where we doublepost, OneUnder. First it happened to me, now you...) ''Afraid not. If they mentioned it on my way back, then I wasn't around to hear.'' Sal explained, the corner of his beak turned downwards into a half-frown. ''But Trask is still on the ship as well as Neil and the others, so I'm assuming they know what they're doing.''Sal headed back to the bridge, where he noticed Tovan was waiting for him. ''Okay, Trask is asking for us to pull up the logs and search for that signal and where it warped out to.'' Spector turned a corner, but halted on the far side of the medium-length corridor leading to the bridge. That, on the other side... That was him... Wasn't it...?''Sal...?'' Spector thought out loud. ''Is that...you...? Or am I seeing things...?''Spector shook his head. ''No. That's him. Flesh, feathers, blood and all.''Now the macaw's heart was starting to beat faster. He ducked behind a corner and began to breathe more heavily. What in the name of hell was he doing here? Out of all places? He was supposed to be on the road, last Spector and everyone else heard... Spector was about to break into a run, but stopped and thought twice. How would Sal react to him being here...?Well, if he didn't try, he wouldn't know. Arminius H O Fiddywinks
"Thank you, D'Tan," Bohdan said, taking the device with the coordinates of their meeting place. "I will gather my men from the refugees, and I shall be off. Goodbye." Bohdan gestured Elizabeth to come with him, and the two of them entered the turbolift. Bohdan verbally commanded that the lift take him to the deck where the refugees were being kept. With his head contacting the ceiling, he looked to his left to find Elizabeth, patiently staring at the lift doors. He was still uneasy after his last encounter in the lift, especially now that the duo were alone. Elizabeth then stumbled to the wall of the lift, where she leaned on it with all of her weight. She had a look of melancholy on her. It was of her husband, what he said to her, and how quickly he left her. She closed her eyes, holding back tears. Bohdan, sympathizing with Elizabeth, approached her with his left arm outstretched, in an attempt to console her. She, however, rejected his offer, slapping away Bohdan's arm. Bohdan retracted his arm, and went back to his side of the lift. But he, too, had a saddening thought on his mind. His face was stoic and emotionless, but his mind focused the loss of his whole family: his parents, his brother, his sister-in-law. There was not a quiver on his snout, not a twitch of the eye. Only the steady breathing of his lungs and the beating of his heart. Suddenly, the lift stopped, and the door opened to the deck where the refugees were kept. Snapping back to reality, the two of them walked to the room containing the refugees, and upon entering, they discovered Sandor standing atop a crate, performing sleights of the hand with a coin. Most of the refugees looked on with curiosity. Some looked on with awe. "Sandor," Bohdan began. "What in God's name are you doing?""I am performing," Sandor replied, jumping from the crate in a somersault. He landed perfectly on his two feet, which generated gasps of awe from most of the crowd. Some clapped. "So, what's going on? Can we go home?" Korben approached the trio from the crowd, carrying his bag in one hand and his blazer in the other. His sleeves were rolled up, and his shirt was dirty, and smeared with blood."Not exactly," Bohdan replied. "We will be going back to the Szabla, however, we will not leave these people." Sandor and Korben looked at each other, obviously confused. What did he mean by "not leaving" these people? "We will going to Khitomer, where we will rendezvous with other Ruthenian ships. There, we shall protect the Romulan Republic vessels. Sandor and Korben groaned disagreement. The two of them simply wanted to leave."Not our fight," Korben said simply."Excuse me?" said Sandor, turning to Korben. "These barbarians nearly killed me! And you say, 'Not our fight'? That is bullshit! Of course, it's our fight!""Alex..." Korben said in an attempt to calm down the enraged tykeriel."No, no, no, don't try to calm me down! I wanna drink their blood, and I wanna make sure they see me tear them apart!""Ok, Sandor," Bohdan butted in decisively. "They will give you their pound of flesh accordingly. Just be patient.""Fine," Sandor said, crossing his arms."Your arm's doing well, Alex?" Elizabeth asked."Mmm-hmm," Sandor muttered, nodding his head."Good," replied Elizabeth. "Good job Korben." Korben nodded his head."Come," Bohdan ordered to his comrades. "We mus return to the Szabla." The group agreed, and started for the door. Sandor, however, turned his head to a nondescript refugee, sitting on the floor."What was that?" Sandor asked. The refugee looked up to the teenager, with Sandor's beady eyes staring into the refugee's very soul."Wha...?" the refugee stuttered, intimidated."I didn't hear you," said Sandor. "Say it again." The refugee was first confused, then scared. Who was this boy, and why did he fixate on this fellow, who hasn't done so much as hurt a fly? "Come on, say it, you piece of shit!""Sandor," Bohdan said from across the room. He approached Sandor, who was still menacing the refugee. He put his hand on the teenager's shoulder, and Sandor looked back. "What did he say?" questioned Bohdan."I don't know," Sandor said, his eyes squinting in an inquisitive manner. "But I'm pretty sure he said something...""Leave him be," ordered Bohdan. "He has done no one any wrong." Sandor acquiesced, and followed Bohdan out."That boy's insane," the refugee muttered under his breath. Sandor, for some apparent reason, heard the refugee, and dashed back to the offender. Sandor punched the refugee square in the jaw, knocking the refugee unconscious, with absolutely no warning."You've stated a fact!" Sandor screamed. "A FACT!!!" Elizabeth and Korben couldn't help but laugh uncontrollably. Bohdan went back to Sandor, who comforted the "insane boy"."Come on," Bohdan said to Sandor. "You have done enough." Sandor then looked up to Bohdan, smiling as if he was satisfied."Yes I have," Sandor said gleefully. "Let's leave."

And if he (OneUnder) tells you about clearing the cache, tell him that I've done that and it does NOTHING. It's either a problem with the site, or a problem with my internet, neither of which I can do anything about right now. Also, I apologize for not having posted at all this week, but in case you missed my status update on Monday, me and my reallife friends have been dealing with some truly, TRULY devastating events.) Sal pursed his beak at hearing the place that the assaliant had warped away to.''Sorry, never heard of it. Like I said, all this space stuff kind of baffles me.'' He sighed, catching Trask's call to Neil ordering him to come on back to the Retribution's Thunder.''Oh yeah, and Neil?'' He said, trying to see if he could get a joke in. ''If ever you feel queasy when you're teleported back, try not to spew all over the place. I'm sure Trask, Tovan and or D'Tan won't be pleased if you vomit all over their nice clean floors.'' At the end, Sal burst into laughter.
CrypticQuery
Neil was practically transfixed as he sauntered through an auxiliary hallway, admiring the shininess and utilitarian nature of the corridor's wall plating as he passed by. It was only after the cackle of a radio met his ears that he snapped back to attention. Reaching down onto his belt and unhooking the portable, he held it in front of him and took in the incoming transmission. Just as he was about to offer a reply, Sal's playful jab came over the air. Smirking as he keyed the microphone, the raccoon glanced about to make sure that there weren't any unwelcome eavesdroppers before continuing. One could never be too careful!"I'm headed over now. Ah, and could you do me a favor? Tell mister Salvatore that his request is duly noted, and that I know my way around a mop." With that, he took off on a jog toward the transporter bay. Time was of the essence, as was not finding his previous meal all over the place post-transport. Edited June 20, 2015 by OneUnder

Arminius H O Fiddywinks
Bohdan, Elizabeth, Sandor, and Korben entered the now cramped lift, going to the shuttle bay. Bohdan was pressed against the lift's doors, while the rest of the group huddled against the walls. "I feel very warm now," stated Sandor with an unsettling monotonous voice."That's a bit creepifying, Alex," remarked Elizabeth with a strained voice. It seemed that the ride went on for days as the four of them were squeezed rather uncomfortably alongside each other. Korben started sweating, and eventually coughing. "Ew!" said Elizabeth. "Korby, take a pill." Elizabeth, who stood next to Korben, wriggled with disgust. Bohdan stood almost perfectly still and nonchalant. Then, finally, the doors opened. Bohdan immediately collapsed onto the hard, metallic floor of the ship's corridors, breathing in and out deeply. The rest of the team followed suit. Bohdan then pulled Sandor up, while Korben helped Elizabeth up. They then proceeded to the shuttle bay. The group entered the bay, where a Romulan had prepared a shuttle for them."Ah, Col. Chmielnicki," said the Romulan. "D'Tan has prepared a shuttle for you.""Thank you," Bohdan said. The Romulan nodded, then walked out of the bay. The four of them then boarded the shuttle, with Bohdan and Sandor piloting. After being given the clear to leave, the shuttle craft departed the Republican vessel, headed towards Bohdan's cloaked ship. Upon giving a subspace signal to the miniscule crew on the Szabla, the massive Ruthenian vessel de-cloaked a few hundred thousand kilometers from the Republican fleet. The shuttle craft then entered the docking bay of the Szabla, with the song "Planisphere" by Justice blaring over the ship's intercom. As the four of them disembarked the shuttle to the large docking bay of the Ruthenian vessel, they were met by two figures. One was a Ruthenian dragon, much like Bohdan, except he was a foot shorter, and had an officer's uniform on, in contrast to Bohdan's more casual wear. He had a worried look on his face, and as soon as he saw Bohdan, he ran to him and embraced him"Oh, Chmiel!" he said, squeezing Bohdan and rocking side to side. Bohdan reciprocated his hug. Meanwhile, the other figure, a female Zonessian sea otter wearing a t-shirt, cargo pants, boots, and a gun holster containing a pistol, ran to Sandor."Alex!" said the otter."Tessa!" replied Sandor. The two of them kissed each other. Elizabeth and Korben, meanwhile, looked at each other. Elizabeth took Korben's hand, smiling. Korben raised his eyebrow."What?" asked Elizabeth. "Go with the flow." Korben rolled his eyes. After a few touching moments, the Ruthenian officer released his hug, and straightened his uniform."Are you alright?" asked the officer."Yes, Jerzy," answered Bohdan."Good, good," said Jerzy, nodding his head. Meanwhile, Sandor and Tessa ended their passionate and lengthy kiss."You good?" Tessa asked."Of course," replied Sandor. They touched heads, their eyes closed."This is so freaking touching!" yelled Elizabeth sarcastically and obnoxiously. That snapped everyone back to reality."Right," Jerzy began. "Well, let's go to the bridge." Bohdan nodded. Bohdan, Elizabeth, Sandor, and Korben followed Jerzy and Tessa, walking down the ship's large and reddish orange corridors. They all gathered into a very roomy lift, and Jerzy vocally commanded that it take them to the bridge. Jerzy, who was in front of everyone else on the lift, turned to Bohdan. "What happened?" he asked the colonel."The Romulan philistines attacked us," Bohdan said vindictively. "They nearly killed Sandor.""Hmm..." pondered Jerzy, looking to the floor. He then looked back at Bohdan. "What's the will of the Czar?""His Majesty does not want Ruthenia in this conflict. He, however, has ordered us to be a peacekeeping force as the Republican fleet travels to Khitomer. Two cruisers shall await us there.""Alright, Chmiel." The lift doors then opened, revealing a very open and large bridge. Several Ruthenian, Cornerian, Papetoonese, and Magyar mercenaries were operating various consoles, ranging from communications to life support systems. "Old Chmiel's home!" Jerzy yelled. The mercenaries temporarily ceased what they were doing, and greeted Bohdan. They then went back to their duties."Now, we must travel to Khitomer," said Bohdan, approaching the captain's chair. Clearwater
(Sorry. My exams are this Thursday so after today, I'm gonna be out for a week and a half tops. Sorry for the inconveniance.)''I hear you,'' Sal said to Trask over the radio. ''And yes, we did find out. He warped out to... Hold on...''Sal quickly peered over at the sensor log again. ''..Says 'Khitomer'... I can't say I've heard of that place.Neil's heading back our way; we got his call. We'll meet you back here when you're done.''Sal ended the call, sighed, and looked up and down at Tovan, who was busy at a console. Salto felt that presence again...The same one he did when he was heading back up here...''Hey, I think I'll wander about for a bit,'' He said to Tovan. ''I can see that I'm not really in a position to be anyhelp, but I'm sure that'll change later. You need me back here at any point, you know my frequency.'' He said, crackinga small smile and pointing to the mic on his headset. Sal turned around and set off into the corridors of the ship, planningto get a proper feel for this place.Spector rested his back against the wall, twiddling the ends of his wings, feeling like that Tovan was starting to givehim too much of a break. He sighed and got off of the wall and begun to walk back to the bridge to ask him if therewas anything to do.Along the way, as he rounded a corner, he collided with someone, and he recoiled.''Hey!'' Spector exclaimed. ''Be careful, will yo--''When Spector realized who he had just run into, his face dropped. It was the same Scarlet Macaw he knew all these years ago...''...S...Salto...?'' He gasped. Sal's facial expression was the same as Spector's.''Mio Dios... It can't be...'' Sal murmered. ''Is that you, Spector?!'' He said in Portugese, his native language.''The one and only, amigo!''The two macaws shared a tight embrace, having not seen each other for the best part of a decade.''I haven't seen you in ages...'' Spector said, his voice cracking in the presence of his one best friend when theywere younger. Spector pulled himself away, and examined Sal. He chuckled.''Still got that haircut, I see,'' He remarked. Sal cracked a grin and gave the feathers obscuring his eye a ruffle.''And the headset,'' Sal added. ''But, why exactly are YOU here? I thought you went to the Brave Bird division, last I heardfrom Wire?''''I did,'' Spector confirmed. ''But when there was no action for a while, Tovan was recruiting, he picked me up, I wasstationed here for a couple of years now... But what about you? Why are YOU here?''Sal sighed and scratched his forehead.''You know that attack on Virinat just now?''''Yeah, I stayed back and helped coordinate the evac. Combat isn't my thing,'' Spector said. ''...Wait. ...Don't tell meyou were down there!''Sal nodded.''Just happened to be the right bird in the wrong place. When all hell broke loose, me and a few others teamed up witha guy named Trask, he took us here and now from what I can comprehend, we're after the guy slash guys who destroyed Virinat.I'll tell you the whole story later.''Sal quickly opened a line to Trask who was still on D'Tan's ship, as Spector looked in awe at how much slimmer Sal looked.Has he really been managing to live in the world, constantly on the move all this time?''Hey, Trask,'' Sal said with a hint of amusement. ''You'll never guess who I found, SERVING on YOUR damn ship,''He added, a good-natured chuckle added at the end of it. ''Only my old friend Spector!'' CrypticQuery
(Good to see you back, Naza.)Neil made his way through the corridors to the transporter area, stopping just outside of the threshold in order to catch his breath. A low growl emanated from his throat as he recalled the less-than-enjoyable encounter that he had with the transporter system not long ago - good memories were in short supply. Rearing back up to his full, albeit unimpressive, height, the raccoon strode through the doorway and into the transporter bay, nodding at Trask in acknowledgement as he passed by, ringed tail held close. Getting the transport over with right away would hopefully be worth it. "Anything I should know about Khitomer, aside from keeping your head down and shooting anything that shoots at us?," he called over to Trask before the transport was set to take place. There would be time to discuss things back on the Retribution's Thunder, sure, but it never hurt to hear warnings twice.
Star_Dragon
"Khitomer is neutral territory," Trask said, "So unless I say so, keep weapons holstered. But, at the same time, keep an eye out for anything suspicious - D'Tan said the Tal Shiar wouldn't waste an opportunity to take out key influential figures. Knowing the Tal Shiar, I'm inclined to agree. Remember... I served in the Romulan Military, so I know a good deal on how the Tal Shiar think and move. Don't be afraid to point out anything you see as odd or out of the ordinary, no matter how trivial. and lastly... it seems Alpha One will be at Khitomer, so keep your head on a swivel; he's bound to rear his head when he sees us. CrypticQuery
Nodding his head as the wolf spoke, Neil was becoming more intrigued by Khitomer. It made sense to him why their assailant would choose to flee there; it was a hotbed of neutral interaction between rival factions, and therefore could be the perfect place for an ambush. Or in a less dire interpretation, maybe he or she was just trying to lay low for awhile. "Weapons out of sight and eyes peeled - I can do that much," he called back in response, gritting his teeth at the thought of what threats may befall them in the near future, and yet being unable to suppress the curving of his lip into a subtle smile. The anticipation was taking its toll. Placing his palms atop one another behind his back, holding his tail in close, and actually remembering to shut his eyes, the raccoon prepared himself for what he hoped would be a smoother transport process than before. He hoped that they were prepared for what seemed to be shaping up to be a larger conflict than he could have ever fathomed. Neil wasn't sure when he and Trask would be alone once more, and he figured that he should say something. Something that he wouldn't care for the rest of their compatriots to hear."Hey, Trask?...Thanks. Thanks for not leaving my ass on that outpost." The thought of being alone, with no hope for retribution nor any semblance of camaraderie, terrified him. Edited June 24, 2015 by OneUnder
Star_Dragon
"Anytime, tovarishch. Admiral Makron to the Retribution's Thunder... energize." Amelia, Derek, if you want, meet me on the bridge. Any questions you have, I'll answer." Trask started for the bridge, hoping Neil was close behind, and promptly ran into Sal and Spector. CrypticQuery
Neil wasn't very fond of the sensation of riding inside of a blender that the transporter system provided, but heeding Trask's advice and holding his eyes shut did wonders. It didn't take away the nausea completely, evidenced by the slight stagger to his step and drooping ears and eyelids, but he wasn't on the floor. That was surely an improvement from last time! Exhaling and shaking his head, he trudged dutifully behind the wolf, all the while patting himself down to ensure that no equipment or armaments had come loose during the transportation process. As they ran into Sal and his acquaintance, the racoon took a look, shifted his attention elsewhere, and then snapped back to attention in order to take another look at the pair."Either I'm seeing double or something screwy is going on here," Neil muttered, rubbing the back of his head with his hand as his recently-scrambled brain failed to process the sight before him.
