It appears that people are losing themselves with the new Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and are forgetting just how fragile a Nintendo 3DS is. As a result, they are breaking off their circle pad, rendering their 3DS unplayable.

Please be aware of your 3DS's usage and build tolerance to avoid this happening to you.

Ah, now I remember how my arrow keys got irretractably sunk into my keyboard when I was playing the N64
version on my emulator.

Really it's just a case of not losing yourself in the heat of the moment. No controller is break-proof, so just try to note when you're being a bit too tough on your poor buttons!

HULK smash?

Reflecting on my absence of thumb flesh from playing project M (take the grip off they said, it's pro they said), I would welcome the challenge of training myself down. Maybe when I went back to a new controller with the WiiU i'd only give it just as much as it needed.

This why you always use protection.

I played the smash 3DS demo and honestly, I ended up mashing that pad more on kid icarus uprising than I did smash... So these are clearly the more dedicated fans or "hard core" fans of the series.

Alright... Eating my words now. My 3DS thing broke too while playing smash XD

But here's the interesting part, I actually like it better :D My thumb doesn't slide off the control stick anymore, and I have a really good grip on it now.
