Redeemer
http://mynintendonews.com/2014/09/14/super-smash-bros-is-destroying-some-peoples-nintendo-3ds-circle-pad/ It appears that people are losing themselves with the new Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and are forgetting just how fragile a Nintendo 3DS is. As a result, they are breaking off their circle pad, rendering their 3DS unplayable. Please be aware of your 3DS's usage and build tolerance to avoid this happening to you. Clearwater
Ah, now I remember how my arrow keys got irretractably sunk into my keyboard when I was playing the N64 version on my emulator.
Redeemer
Really it's just a case of not losing yourself in the heat of the moment. No controller is break-proof, so just try to note when you're being a bit too tough on your poor buttons!
Gestalt
HULK smash? Reflecting on my absence of thumb flesh from playing project M (take the grip off they said, it's pro they said), I would welcome the challenge of training myself down. Maybe when I went back to a new controller with the WiiU i'd only give it just as much as it needed. This post has been powered by thumb sucking. Pharaoh Shadon
I played the smash 3DS demo and honestly, I ended up mashing that pad more on kid icarus uprising than I did smash... So these are clearly the more dedicated fans or "hard core" fans of the series.

My 3DS thing broke too while playing smash XDBut here's the interesting part, I actually like it better My thumb doesn't slide off the control stick anymore, and I have a really good grip on it now.
