Another Star Fox Reference in Bayonetta 2

Aside from the Fox McCloud inspired costume in Bayonetta 2, there is also an arwing flight sequence! [skip to 1:05 in the video]

You'll also hear a remix of the Corneria theme playing in the background if you listen closely.

I'm happy they chose the N64 Arwing design and not the overrated Assault design. :D

tfw the best original Starfox thing to happen is an Easter Egg in a game 16 years after SF64.

Holy hell! Looks like I'm picking-up this game.

This is probably the closest we'll get to a Platinum Games Star Fox game, though.

If this is what Star Fox WiiU ends up looking like (or at least similar in graphical detail) all I have to say is WOW.

Although I will admit that if SF WiiU gets rid of the on-foot stuff altogether, I will be somewhat disappointed. SF Assault had the right idea, but poorly executed it.

Nonetheless, credit to the team for referencing the SF64 nova bomb iconic explosion style. Looking forward to seeing what comes of all this.

Its well known that Kamiya is a HUGE Railshooter/Star Fox fan. I was kinda hoping that he would be at the helm of the next star fox game because the series could use the Platinum Touch really really badly.
