Vy'drach
And gameplay trailer here: Honestly it looks good imo. Kinda like TF2 in that it's an objective based class shooter, but the classes are really unique and movement seems pretty awesome. EDIT: Oh yeah, should probably link this too, which shows the characters and their abilities. Each one seems rather OP so far, but there's a saying, "Nothing is OP if everything is OP." http://us.battle.net/overwatch/en/ Edited November 8, 2014 by Vydrach
Drasiana
I almost wish this was a movie instead of a game, that cinematic trailer was so cute.

Gestalt
Yeah, I'd watch that movie. The game play shown seems like it has the potential to go either way.
Vy'drach
So it's been a bit, but I am dredging this because update time, there's now gameplay footage of the classes, as in a full match from the perspective of the character. Mercy, the game's medic: Zenyatta, a support character that doesn't really have an equivalent in TF2, Will add more as they put them up. Dr. Orange
Literally every character is on their website. Videos and all. Plus the two new characters (they finally added the sheriff murica).
Vy'drach
The characters are but the actual full match of gameplay from their PoV is not, just the two right now.

Vy'drach
Tracer, with her low HP and high mobility, really looks like one of those wasted team slot if bad, utter monsters if good characters. Edited May 27, 2015 by Vydrach
Vy'drach
Funnily enough, this is the same game as from the Tracer gameplay preview video. Shmibli7
Not trying to troll or anything but this game, to me, looks like blizzard is running out of ideas. The already have WoW and Hearthstone and are developing (I think) Heroes of the Storm. I've never been a fan of blizzard games to begin with due to the fact that you have to pay to play or expand (Or win in Hearthstone) and the fact that the fan bases for their games are comprised of various creepy individuals. All in all, I think blizzard sees that they're on their way out and they're using this as their last effort to try and come back. Drasiana
how does anything you just said remotely suggest that blizzard is "running out of ideas" or "on their way out"this is actually the first blizzard game I've been sort of interested in for a while, the character designs are pretty neat
Robert Monroe
Literally their first new IP in what? 15 years? Since like, Diablo.
Vy'drach
And as for this discussion... wut? Company developing new games means they're running out of ideas? And on their way out? Blizzard is big, yo. WoW is still going strong, granted it's been dying but that game came out in 2004 and it is now 2015, that is 11 years for an MMO to be going and it's still going, there'll be another expansion after Warlords of Draenor, especially since the consensus is that it's the best expansion done yet. Diablo is buy once and play with a purchasable expansion pack, and WoW being subscription is fine as games like that need upkeep, granted subscription games died out but that's because WoW killed them, why play this new start up game when you can play WoW where you've already got progress, time, and money invested? As for the fan base comment, that's a pretty strong use for the word fact, what with that being a subjective statement and all. The biggest complaint I could see is the game is too like TF2, which apart from being a cartoony arena shooter, well, that's where most of the similarities end besides using common character archetypes, engineers build turrets, medics use beam heals, there's a sniper, but outside those... there really isn't a lot of overlap. Even the Engineer as TF2 knows him is split onto three characters for Overwatch, you have Tjorborn building turrets with a scrap system, Symmetra builds mini-turrets and the teleporter, and Bastion is a turret. The sniper, Widowmaker, is one of the most mobile characters in the game, unlike TF2. Tracer, the really high skill cap low HP, high mobility character isn't like TF2's Scout as she has machine pistols and teleports around the battlefield as opposed to being hopping all over the place. There's no spy, no pyro (as of yet), and it looks like Overwatch may have a lot of characters to choose from to comprise your team like the other form of MOBAs, given the end of the cinematic trailer shows a lot of characters not yet shown, McCree and Zarya were on there but they're now official. We may be looking at 40+ characters. Edited June 11, 2015 by Vydrach

Vy'drach
Gotta say, I wasn't that excited for Zarya, but watching her in action she may be my back-up main after Mercy, as she has the right mix of offensive/defensive/supportive traits.
