RP: Another Week,  Another Game (This RP is based on the Nintendo DS RPG, 'The World Ends With You': *link to wiki page*)

Style: Forum

Theme: Teamwork and Survival

Purpose: To teach the Players to take a hard look on life and discover the thing that was slowing them down or preventing them from advancing too far in their lives.

Settings: The 'Underground' & 'Realground' Shibuya as depicted in 'The World Ends With You'. (I STRONGLY advise you to have played this game to get the gist of the enviromment. If not, I will try my best to describe it for everyone.)

Player Count: No foreseeable caps, minimum of 4 players at start (Me included). All players can control a max of 3 characters in the RP.

Goal: There are two teams: 'Players' and 'Reapers'. The Players must survive a week in the Underground Shibuya by clearing missions sent out by the Reapers. The Reapers must attempt to erase the Players and prevent them from surviving, otherwise, they will be erased themselves.

Story: In Shibuya, those who have very recently died are sent to a parallel version of Shibuya. There, they are forced to take part in what is called the 'Reapers Game', which is an exam lasting a week to see who will earn the right at a second chance at life. All Players who survive the week are then judged by the 'Conductor' of Shibuya, organiser of the Reaper's Game. Those who have performed outstandbly are sent back to the real Shibuya to be reincarnated. Those who have not have 3 choices: Play the Game again as a Player, a Reaper, or be erased from existance.

Characters:

The Players:
A 'Player' is someone very recently deceased and has been sent to the 'Underground' Shibuya to play the Reaper's Game. While doing so,
they must also take a look at their mistakes in their previous life and try their best to atone for them. The Players are sent out one mission per day by the 'Game Master', and must attempt to clear it. The Players are user-controlled.

The Reapers:
There are 3 kind of Reapers:

Support: Support Reapers are dressed in a red hoodie and carry a messanger bag around with them. These type of Reapers are not allowed to harm the Players, but are charged with giving Players conditions to clear the barricades blocking off each section of Shibuya. Upon completion of a Support Reaper's task, the wall they are guarding is cleared. Support Reapers are N.P.C's, but one or two can be controlled
by any RPers on the Reaper team.

Harrier: Harrier Reapers are dressed in a black hoodie and wear a bandana around their neck. Their goal is to erase the Players, but they are not allowed to attack them directly. Instead, they summon Noise (more on them below) to do their bidding fo them. Unless allowed by the Game Master, Harriers are not permitted to move between sections of Shibuya, but may move around the area they are guarding. Support Reapers are N.P.C's, but one or two can be controlled by any RPers on the Reaper team.

Officers: Officer Reapers are also tasked with erasing the players. If they fail, then they themselves will be erased. Officers may attack Players
directly, but only after the Noise under their bidding have been dealt with. Officer Reapers are user-controlled.

The Game Master:
The Game Master (Or GM for short) is the one who is in charge for the current week's Game, issuing out the missions and controlling the
Support and Harrier Reapers. The GM may step onto the field of play to meet each Player, but cannot attack them until the final day of the current Game. The GM is user-controlled, a user playing on the Reaper team randomly being chosen to play the role of the GM. I control the GM of the first Game.

The Noise:
Noise are creatures and animals sent by the Reapers to attack and erase the Players. They may vary from different kinds of species. Noise are N.P.C.

The Conductor:
The Conductor (Full name is Megumi Kitaniji) is the Reaper who organizes and oversees the Games to make sure no one breaks the rules. He is also the one who decides which Players who survived a Game gets to come back to life. I control the Conductor.

Starting out in the Game:

When a new Game begins, all the Players wake up in or around the vicinites of the Scramble Crossing, the center of Shibuya, on the first Day, and recieve their first mail sent out from the GM containing the first mission's details. From there, they must find a fellow Player as quickly as possible and partner up with him or her: Without a partner, a Player cannot fight the Reapers and the Noise and stands a slim to none chance of surviving even the first day. When two Players have partnered up, they must stay together as a team for the rest of the week: They cannot choose another partner mid-Game.
When a new Day begins, all Players wake up again, in or around the Scramble Crossing, with no idea that they have just fallen asleep when they cleared the previous day's mission and slept until they woke up on the new Day. They will be allowed a small amount of time to talk to each other, etc. until the GM sends out the mission.
---
Missions:

When a mission begins, all of the Players and Reapers are sent out the mission details via mail on their cell phones, sent from the Game Master, along with a time limit. If one pair of Players clear the mission, then they all clear it. On the other hand though, if the Players fail to clear the mission before the timer hits zero, then ALL of the Players in the current Game are erased, without exception, and we jump to a new Game with a fresh batch of Players. The missions vary from 'Defeat a certain Noise', to 'Reach this location', and a ton of other ideas inbetween.
If the Players are sent a mission containing cryptic details, they will have to keep their eyes and ears open for hints, as well as use logic.
When a mission is cleared, all the Players will have half an hour of in-RP time to do what they want until they fall asleep until the next day.
On the final day of the Game, the mission must always be 'Defeat the Game Master'.

How to join:

Anyone can join with a character profile which is existing or made from scratch, but the character MUST be a human. They must also choose which side the character is going to be on: Players, or Reapers. The character info must also contain how they died, what their entry fee for the Game is (The thing a person values the most is their entry fee for one Game, and they get it back if they survive. If they are forced to replay the Game, their old entry fee is returned to them, and a new entry fee is taken from them should the thing they value the most changes during the Game), and an object they carry around with them which they can use to fight the Noise and the Reapers when they are partnered up.
