The Crew- You should come!

Hey, guys. Recently, Ubisoft released an open world racing game called The Crew. It is Need For Speed on a bigger scale, and it has some pretty cool features. I am looking for recruits to join me in my adventures across America! Please get this game, so I can race with you guys.

I'm very skeptical about Ubisoft these days considering the last few games they put out and how they turned out.  Most notably Assassin's Creed Unity, but also not excluding Watch_Dogs.  The game will have to go on a 50% sale for me to justify spending money on it though.  Is it really worth what they're asking?

I've been loving everything about this game since it was announced. I had intended to buy it when it released, but money troubles happened, sooo.

I've only heard amazing things about it, though. People are calling it the best open-world driving game ever made, so that's definitely a good sign!

 

I'm hoping I can grab it during the winter sale, even if it's only 25% off or something. I just really need to get it. There aren't enough open-world racers, which is weird because a few years ago they were all the rage.

And Far Cry 4 too omg money please

I'd like to point out that as a console peasant, I am forced to pay for the "premium" online service to be able to access all the features this game has to offer. If either you own the Xbone or PS4, you must have Gold Live or PS PLUS or else you can't communicate with other people in game from my understanding. I have also heard rumors that you can't play the game at all because it is always online, however, the "The Crew" community manager has gone on record saying that you will be able to play, with limitations....

 

I need a better PC. Online only games are bad for the future of the industry....sad to say this was a game I was looking forward to. I'm going to wait for the server issues to die down before picking it up for console.

I am loving the game so far. It is far from perfect, but still boatloads of fun. If you like the old Need for Speed games, you will love The Crew. I would say to put it on a holiday wishlist, like what I did. I rarely buy games when they release, mainly because of the price. Anyway, you should join in on the racing.
