Joseph.
I know it's still an unfinished game but from the looks of it mighty No. 9 looks simply horrible. It raised about $4 million on Kick Starter yet I've seen some pretty good indie games on steam with better graphics. Now don't get me wrong, I'm no graphics whore but when a game has a budget of 4 million dollars and looks worst then an indie game on steam red flags should be waving in your head... I would also like to mention that Shovel knight only raised about $300,000 / $400,000 on Kick Starter and it turned out to be very fun, good looking, and challenging. Speaking about challenge, Mighty No. 9 doesn't look as challenging as Mega Man from what I've seen on You Tube. This could change since it's still an unfinished product but I'm wondering what you guys think about this game. Has the beta convinced you its going to be a good game? Are the 3D models well design or do you prefer a 2D design instead?
ArwingFan
From what I seen it looks rather bland and unpolished, don't have much faith for this game.
Robert Monroe
My hopeful side simply wishes to wait and see what the finished product will be. The indev things we've seen are very lackluster, though. But, we don't know how complete the game is or if the indev material is even represenative of what we'll see in the game or is just test levels. We've seen very little features beyond the basest of level designs, so... I'm withholding judgement for now.

I would withhold my judgment too but the thing is the dev team is planing to release it on every gaming console on the market... Instead of focusing on 2 or 3 consoles they are dividing those $4 million to pay off development time for all those consoles. Changing the graphics or art design would probably slow down development time So i think the current design/graphics of Mighty No. 9 aren't going to change...
