EvolutionSFox
Got them both yesterday and I'm already into Adventures a great deal... still a great game as well. Just to find some friends for Star Fox Assault though...
Dr. Orange
Oh ... okay. I mean, I'm happy for you but wouldn't this find more purpose in the Status' than a whole new thread? I think that's like the whole reason they're there.
CrypticQuery
The Star Fox Cubed section doesn't really see all that many threads, so I don't see much harm in it (especially since his join date was in '05; I'd love to hear what he thinks assuming that he hasn't previously played them). How would you say that they hold up when stacked to more contemporary games, as well as their predecessors, EvolutionSFox?
EvolutionSFox
No, I bought both of these games when they first came out. I lost them though, so I figured I'd pick them both up again since they were both exceptional games. I have not really noticed much activity in this forum as there once was when Adventures and Assault hit the shelves so I thought creating a topic would help. My bad. SF Redd
Lucky. Although it's my favourite in the series, and I have played it, I've never actually owned Assault. I wanted to pick it up on Amazon, but it's £42 on there. That's a lot of money for a ten year old game!

It's good to get back into the games though; I started playing 64 again recently and remembered why I enjoyed it so much. Maybe I'll do the same for Assault one of these days, attempting to disregard its numerous flaws when I do so.
EvolutionSFox
I actually picked up Adventures for 17 dollars and Assault for 26 dollars, and Assault was definitely one of my favorites for the Cube disregarding the flaws it had. Now that you mention it, picking up Star Fox N64 again doesn't sound too bad of an idea as well. I have it for the 3DS but it doesn't feel the same... CrypticQuery
Not a bad deal on Adventures and Assault at all. I can agree with you regarding SF64-3D though; the game is good, but the redone voice acting just makes me wish I was playing the N64 version instead. It had that delightful amount of cheesiness to it, after all.
Owner/Technical Admin Sideways Posted April 11, 2015 Owner/Technical Admin Share Posted April 11, 2015 I think I agree with everyone's opinion on SF643D. I enjoy it, but i do wish the voice acting was the same as the N64.
