"Well, hey-o Korben. Name's Wolf."

Wolf takes his arm out of the booth, and reaches out to shake his paw with whatever kind of hand the recepient had.

Korben shook Wolf's hand with his, which was covered with a black glove. He simply nodded his head. "See you 'round," he said, and then continued eating, turning his back on him and Felicia.

Elizabeth and Ezra seemed to be breaking new ground in forming a friendship. At least Ezra was warming up to her. "Well, 'friend' would be a rough estimate," admitted Elizabeth, chuckling. "Sandor's part psycho, part buddy, part rebellious son, all wrapped up in a nice little package with a bow on it." She then turned back to Sandor, who was still eating her soup. She looked back to Ezra, speaking quiet enough for only him to hear "Don't underestimate Sandor for a harmless, hyper kid. He's dangerous. He's killed people, dozens of people. He's not a good guy, not for a long shot. But, if you can get on his good side, he won't shoot you: that's a given."

Ezra tried not to look visibly frightened by the news, putting on a somewhat nervous smile. "Not to worry," he kept his voice hushed, "If there's one thing I'm good for, it's not undervaluing someone. I'll keep a low profile."

"Well, if you manage to not insult him, he'll not think about offing you," Elizabeth joked. "Hey, you seem like a good guy. You wanna hang out later?"

Ezra's smile was wider than intended, and he quickly tried to reel it back a little. "Yeah, that sounds great." he pulled out his phone casually and opened his contacts list, "Can I give you my number?"

Frowning at this turn of events Felecia shook her head and cupped her hands around her mouth, shouting across the restaurant at Liz. "SLUTTTTTTTTTTTTTT"

Sure, Ezra, sure," replied Elizabeth. "Just lemme -- " At that moment, Felecia shouted "slut" from across the room. It was directed towards Elizabeth. Offended, she turned to Felecia and scowled. "Excuse me?!" said Elizabeth. "Woman, what have I done to you to warrant that?!"

Korben also heard Felicia shout, and he turned to eye her. He, too, found Felicia's comment uncalled for and odious.

"Just ignore it." Ezra sighed wearily, "At this point, I think she acting out to get a reaction." He swiped through the options on his phone as he waited to see what the outcome of this would be.

Wolf kept hearing the ever increasing word from Felecia he forcefully put his paw in front of her mouth, expecting to be bitten but allowing the patrons to have SOME peace...

"The rest of my money is going to the grocery store, not to silence staff again..."

Though she did bite Wolf's hand it was more of a nibble to entertain herself. She had said what she wanted to say and had no more reason to speak to the slut.

Elizabeth, nodding her head in victory, calmed herself. "Yeah, that's what I thought." Korben, too, was ready to pounce, but after the situation was diffused, he returned to eating.. Sandor was still busy eating Elizabeth's soup, and Bohdan just wanted to keep quiet.

Jolene returned to her seat finally with her refilled drink. Not wanting to have gotten in the middle of another possible argument she had been trapped at the drink station until things tided over again. She sat down with her drink, looking over at Bohdan hopefully. "Hey," she whispered to get his attention discretely.

Ezra stood up suddenly, gently taking the woman's arm. "Hey, what about dessert?" he proposed hopefully, lowering his voice, "We could go take a walk."

Felecia noticed that the two looked ready to depart. Though this time she did not what was expected of her. Anger, yelling, confrontation. No. All she did from that moment on, was repeatdtly bang her head on the table and say the word stupid.

"Sure," replied Elizabeth enthusiastically. "I could go for something sweet. Just because there's some water falling from the sky doesn't mean we can't have a walk, now does it?" She looked into his eyes with a demeanor that she has not had in quite a long time.

Bohdan, meanwhile, noticed Jolene trying to grab his attention covertly. He turned his head, but did not make direct eye contact, instead looking at the ground. "Yes?" he said, almost at a whisper.

Ezra's heart plopped into his stomach briefly. He had forgotten it was still raining, and he was now hyper aware of his sister's pink umbrella leaned up against the chair. Her eyes met his, however, and he suddenly didn't care. "Agreed," he took the pink umbrella and proceeded to lead the way out after giving Jolene a pat on the shoulder to let her know he was heading out.

Jolene looked up in surprise, unable to suppress a grin as she acknowledged him. Good for him. She returned her attention to the dragon, keeping her voice low. "I kind of want to get out of here before things have the chance to get worse. You?"

Elizabeth, smiling, stood up and put on her cap. She followed Ezra out of Panera Bread. Sandor, however, still noted that Elizabeth had the keys to his car. "Wait, Erzsebet. Wait!" Sandor shot up and ran towards the exit. "You have my keys!"

Bohdan addressed Jolene's proposition. "Absolutely!" he said quietly. "We should go. Sven, finish your food."

"You mean the food that sucks?" he commented. "Done."

Wolf put his head on the table, and put his hands on Fel's head, keeping her from hitting the table further.

"Done eating yet? Wanna grab a to-go box and head to the grocery store now...?"

Felecia jerked her head away from Wolf before standing. "Leave." She then headed towards the door at a relatively slow pace, opening it and stepping out into the rain. She noticed the other two upon the exit of the building but said or did nothing. Heading down the street they way they were headed initally.

Ezra looked back as Sandor came barreling after them. He stopped and opened up his umbrella as he waited for the boy to catch up.

Jolene rolled her eyes good-humoredly at Sven before wiping her mouth one last time with her napkin and standing with her purse. The lady who had started the commotion had already gone, but Jolene felt they were about done here.

Spotting the market nearby, Wolf was pretty happy to grab some food to actually take home and that didn't cost 20 for one salad and meat...

"Erzsebet..." said Sandor, holding out the palm of his hand. "My keys."

"Oh yeah, sorry Alex," replied Elizabeth, fishing out the keys from her back pocket. Upon receiving his car keys, Sandor put them up against his nose and inhaled deeply, smelling them. His eyes nearly rolled into the back of his head.

"Ahh..." he uttered. Elizabeth was disturbed, and slowly backed away, pasting a fake smile on her face.

"See you around..." said Elizabeth, motioning Ezra to come with her.

((Flashing foreward by an hour or two))

The rain had all but ceased by two o'clock, leaving the roads and lawns of La Catalina wet, and the sun was starting to shine through a waning overcast.

La Catalina, starting with it's exotic name, was a commemoration to Earth's European and Mediterranean architectural styles, with Spanish Revival and Spanish Renaissance being quite popular. The terracotta roofing, earthtone stucco, and luxurious professional landscaping of every lawn screamed Nouveau Riche and capitalism at it's finest.

1408 was a tribute to the classical designs of the Spanish Revival. The interior of Amelia Cimmaron's home was decorated in a mixture of styles. In planning, the inside was made to look like a Spanish country home, with ceramic tile flooring, wrought iron bannisters, and exposed wood beams in the coffered ceilings. She had gone all out decorating it, taking an eclectic approach to furnishing her home, with a mixture of classical and modern pieces from some of the higher end home decor and furniture stores. A luxurious home, with equally luxurious appointments.

"Home sweet home," Amelia said, walking up the front walk to the front door, with Amber and Korben in tow. Though she had a key, she found it more convenient to unlock the door with either the home security app on her smartphone or by using the keypad on the electronically operated lock on the front door. This time, she used the keypad, typing in a six digit code to unlock the door. Upon entering the house, she immediately took her boots off at the door. Amber, however, went directly to the couch and flopped down on the leather sectional Amelia had gotten from Z-Gallerie.

It certainly was good to be home.

Korben would have done what Amber did, had he been faster. He was incredibly tired from his recent excursion to Panera Bread. He groaned, and took off his blazer. He threw it onto a chair in the dining room. However, he quickly took of his holster as well, which contained his blaster-pistol, and covered it with the blazer. He then rolled up the sleeves on his white dress shirt, and loosened his tie a bit. Upon entering the living room, he stretched his arms as high as he could, and then twisted his back left and right, cracking some bones in the process. When he did that, he breathed a sigh of relief. He then looked to Amelia. "Eventful day, hmm?" he said.

Bohdan and Sven, meanwhile, resided in Bohdan's condo. Sven watched Bohdan blaze through Resident Evil 4 on his Game Cube. Bohdan wore a white t-shirt covered by a red vest and red hood draped over his head. He wore black jeans and slippers. Sven wore a tank top and sweatpants, and cheered Bohdan on as he took on hordes of parasite-infested Spanish villagers. Gunfire and screaming erupted frequently from the surround speakers throughout the room. "Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-haa!!!" laughed Bohdan maniacally.

Sandor, meanwhile, was in his home in Ibiza, laying down on his couch. He stared at the auburn ceiling, with the song "143" by Mr. Oizo playing on his stereo system in a distant corner of the living room. His thoughts raced between his past, present, and future. How he was as a little boy, how he his as a malevolent teen, and how he might be, as a notorious adult. Suddenly, he bolted from his position on the couch and stomped towards the kitchen. He opened his refrigerator and unveiled a carton of chocolate chip cookie dough. He took several scoops from it with an ice cream scooper he dug out of the drawer, and placed the scoops into a mug. He threw the scooper into the sink, and grabbed a spoon from the drawer. Closing the drawer, Sandor went into the kitchen. "On," he commanded, and the television turned on. "Off music," he again commanded, and the stereo turned off. Sandor sat back down onto the couch and began watching television while eating his cookie dough ice cream.

Elizabeth, meanwhile, was with Ezra. The two of them sat together in an ice cream parlor just outside of Town Square. They dabbled in their confections as they conversed. The sun finally peaked out from behind the clouds after a long day of rain, and looked down upon the two of them.

Jolene unpacked her boxes, making a nice healthy flat stack in her living room. Occasionally she could hear Bohdan's hearty laughter from next door, but thankfully the walls were very well insulated, and they were for the most part separated from each other's noise. Deciding her stack was getting pretty tall, she proceeded back outside to take it to recycling a few pieces at a time.

------

"Hey, there's the sun." Ezra smiled brightly as he looked outside, "Maybe now my sister can have her umbrella back." he took a spoonful of his mint chocolate ice cream and savored it before speaking again, "So, Liz, are you from La Catalina also?"

Elizabeth toyed with her birthday cake ice cream before answering Ezra's question. "No, I'm not from here," she said, looking out the window. She then turned back to Ezra, who was sitting opposite of her. Their table was next to the window, which had a view of the wet, shimmering street. People from the various condominiums and apartments slowly began to emerge and go about their business as usual. "I was born and raised in Alesia. It's a decent-sized city, with decent people. Not as big and flashy as CC (Corneria City), but it gets the job done. What about you, Ezra? Where are you from?"
