Ludvig if you get a Wii, and are looking for GC games there is one you need to check out, its called Battalion wars. The game is kind of short but the graphics and story are awsome, plus you get to drive a tank, gunship, fighter, most any milatery vechicle. Plus coming out in 2007 is Battalion wars2 with multi-player and online, and it includes navel battles (Yes you get to drive a battleship) and you can chose with nation you wish to be.

The Wii will hook us up with so many memories. I'm a huge Metroid fan, yet I've never even once played Super Metroid. That will change soon.

I'm not surprised.....it's a hit! Of course it's going to be on the VC.

Now, I just need to wait for some other games then I'll definately be happy! :P

One reason to get me a Wii. Still I have a working N64 and basically I have 4 game systems hooked up (GCN, PS2,N64,SEGA GENESIS) to one TV and its agravating to switch them all and the Wii would eliminate the need of all but the PS2. Still I like the original Console experence of the games rather than a rom on a different console cause thats what I grew up with.

^ All though reading earlyer you said you can't find any working N64 controllers, the Wii would fix that. But I know what you mean about the feel. If your luky mabey your local game store will have some of thoughs souped up N64 controllers with turbo.

If you're lucky, You'll find a shop that specializes in not just new games, try in a local mall or something.

I'm really hoping that using the Right Analog/C-Stick instead of the C-Buttons will be just as comfortable as it was on the N64 version.

Although I'm not really surprised that this game is going on the Virtual Console, I'm really more concerned with the "new" control-scheme.

Or maybe I'm just being paranoid.

Shame it costs too much. (I think it was 8 or 10 dollars)

I would download it in a heartbeat if at least had added content like online multiplayer or something. But since it's practically only in it's current state as it was before, I have to think about whether or not I'll pay to download this.

You don't pay with money, I think. You have points that you spend on them, and you buy points at stores and stuff, me thinks.

so it's basically the same as Xbox Live Arcade? Ok well, either way I still find having to buy a certain amount of points for an old game I could buy for free, kind of annoying, but I guess I'll try it out.

I think that's how it works, I see the labels for Wii Cards...

Yes, you buy a Wii Card which costs 20 and change and you use that as your cash for buying the games.

Yeah, and the sweet thing is if you don't have a Wii card you can use a credit card and just add Wii points from your home. I did that because I couldn't find a card.

And you get more levels of points to choose from.

10 for 1000

20 for 2000 (Duh....we know that offer's there)

30 for 3000

and finally....

50 for 5000

1 Wii Ppoint = 1 US Cent (in America)

The conversion rate isn't the same in other countries (the actual value difference, not the type of money).
