[Eyes]

Cyan blue with a hint of grey surrounding the pupils.

[Hair]

light blue fur coloring, with the hair only being a slight shade darker, perhaps a byproduct of the clone’s accelerated aging process as the original had darker shade of blue then what the clones, no fur patterns to make note of. “Shepherd” has the longest of her hair tied together in a sort of ponytail reaching her shoulder blades.

[Clothing and description]

She wears a thermal skin suit under her visible clothing to protect her from the elements, heating in cold environments and cooling on hotter worlds, outside of that “Shepherd” wears a flight suit or BDU with a flak jacket (Added pouches extra padding on the shoulders) on missions, while on her down time she wears a zip up yellow jacket, loose fitting pants with a pocket belt to hold needed items. (Note. Most of her clothing has the silhouette of a blue jay, as a sort of symbolism.)

[Family]

Several other fellow clones, a few doctors, scientists and instructors that raised her as well as a high profile Cerinian bounty hunter of where her genes came from (No real relation besides blood).

[Alignment]

Neutral yet malleable for direction, good or bad.

[Personality]

“Shepherd” doesn’t really have much skill with social interactions, yet is a very curious person that if her interest is peaked, no matter how odd, she will voice a query. Although she may be socially inept, the clone will do her best to avoid making cringe worthy moments for her, though in an effort to differentiate herself from her fellow clones she does tend to do her best to not be introverted. Some would consider the clone to be tomboyish by the way she acts, carries herself and dresses, if brought up, “Shepherd” would call it a byproduct of her accelerated aging.

[History]

“Shepherd” was one of many clones of a very successful Cerinian bounty hunter who goes by the alias Carla Reid. While not the absolute best in her field, the bounty hunter had something that made her Genes very sought after, her species’ ESP as well as the bounty hunters well honed muscle memory. Their intention with the data and the DNA sample was to create clones of the Cerinian, program their bodies with the bounty hunter’s data through the use of cybernetics and place clones growing up into groups where overtime the minds of the clones would create a “network”.

When “Shepherd” was “born”, she was the product of generation seventy-five of a simulated muscle memory program and is the thirty-first made of the forty-five total clones each put in groups of five, that five would grow up to rely on each other as family and comrades, she (And her fellow clones) started off with her body’s age accelerated to an equivalent age of eight. Over time “Shepherd” and her group developed what had been dubbed a “network”, a phenomenon recorded largely only with telepaths that have bonded with each other long enough that as many as five telepaths would be able to mirror, react to and/or finish the actions or sentences seemingly almost before they happen.

Later on, when the results of the project was proving to be successful if a bit expensive (Their physical age was sixteen at this point), all forty-five clones were moved through several locations on different worlds to educate the clones in skills they’d need (Up till this point they were educated as any young Lylatian would be, as well as training to hone their Telepathy). During a flying practice session on Katina Shepherd and her group ran into stray pirate forces above atmosphere, after a brief dogfight and moderate damage received, the group put up as much resistance as they could before retreating to the cover of surface anti-air protection. “Shepherd’s” ship had taken the brunt of the damage, and wasn’t able to stabilize before landing, causing her to crash and receive a seemingly minor head injury, that proved not to be the case as she found out when she awoke, “Shepherd” was no longer connected to her sisters.

Unfortunately the project had to be cancelled when funds for it have been cut off, the researchers did their best to try to settle the clones into lives in places that would take them, be it the military, security forces, law enforcement and others of the like. “Shepherd” was one of the few that chose to personally see to their own way in life, with her intending to find her gene donator at some point, not really knowing what she’d do when she did.

[Abilities]

“Shepherd” Is able to speak Lylatian basic as well as two other languages without the need of a translator, has little trouble with flying spacecraft of any type any is also very handy with a blaster pistol, although her skill varying when it comes to other weapons. Her ESP gives her a moments warning, but after her crash on Katina her ability isn’t as strong, nor is she connected to the network any longer.

[Flaws]

“Shepherd” can be Impatient, naïve and easily gets cocky as well as has a slightly obnoxious attitude when attempting to set herself apart from others. There will be moments where one can call her manipulative as well as a hypocrite, do to her being raised that if she couldn’t find an opportunity, that she should make one.

[Other]

“Shepherd” has a personal starfighter she affectionately calls, the “Small Order”, when at its’ best has an old dual engine fighter refitted with two high powered plasma canons with a fast acting cooling systems, proton torpedo launchers. For evasion the Small Order has a “Mass Regulator” which allows for faster movement by lowering the fighter ships’ mass, the downside is the mass regulator also connected to the shields and canon power, if more power is put in to one the others suffer. The mass regulator is also prone to overheating which had caused the system to fall out of favor fast with military and mercenary alike, do to this most ships fitted with the system are nicknamed “Mass-targets” due to the risk of the user perishing if the systems are overheated and left without shields, a method of escape and a means to defend oneself.

Through her time bounty hunting “Shepherd” acquired a photon-dagger, a blade that magnetically holds heated gases around where a sharp part of the blade would be had it been a normal dagger, when not in use the blade retracts to the hilt in segments ready at the push of a button on the hilt.

The clone also owns a high powered blaster pistol that is able to fire nine shots consecutively before needing to cool down. For protection, the clone has an older model of a shielding system that she nicked off a bounty, and had been messing with it in an attempt to make it stronger since.

So far, “Shepherd” collected six bounties, four living, while two killed, one during a dogfight, the other during a gunfight, all contracts were on Titania. She also took part in transport security for eight runs raider and pirate attacks occurred five times in open space. Though ship repairs, refueling and rearming her ship took most of the earnings.

 OTHER MISC. INFORMATION

Abilities: “Shepherd” is able to speak Lylatian basic as well as two other languages without the need of a translator, has little trouble with flying spacecraft of any type any is also very handy with a blaster pistol, although her skill varying when it comes to other weapons. After extensive training with her mentors, she is skilled in hand-to-hand combat including, but not limited to: Disarming techniques, mixed-martial arts, throws and Close-Quarters-Battle (Hand to hand with weapons)*. Her ESP gives her a moments warning, but after her crash on Katina her ability isn’t as strong, nor is she connected to the network any longer.

Slowly, through her esper abilities, Shepherd is teaching herself new ways to make use of her gift. While not directly able to sense others, the vixen is able to 'feel' stronger emotional thought patterns, though generally only ones brought on by a fight-or-flight response. She wouldn't, however, be able to pick out a person feeling these emotions from a crowd, just that there was one among them who was scared or furious.
//Due to species physiological differences, her hand-to-hand skills come into play only with opponents with similar body structure and size//

Flaws: “Shepherd” can be Impatient, naïve and easily gets cocky as well as has a slightly obnoxious attitude when attempting to set herself apart from others. There will be moments where one can call her manipulative as well as a hypocrite, do to her being raised that if she couldn’t find an opportunity, that she should make one.

Through her time bounty hunting “Shepherd” acquired a photon-sword, a blade that magnetically holds heated gases around a hardened ceramic hilt-retractable tube (essentially, a primitive lightsaber).

The clone also owns a high powered blaster pistol that is able to fire eighteen shots consecutively before needing to cool down. For protection, the clone has an older model of a shielding system that she nicked off a bounty, and had been messing with it in an attempt to make it stronger since.

First, allow me to welcome you to the forums here. It's always good to see a new face. Second, I recommend that you should consider making a introduction thread on the Front Door Subtopic here >>> http://www.starfox-online.net/forums/forum/33-the-front-door/ <<< were you can talk about yourself and whatnot.

It's just hard for people to meet and greet you in a RP character thread.

Cheers.

^ Will do, Dr. Orange.

------------------------------

((This character may be subject to change))

[Name]

Lok McGraw (Real name: Velok Severus)

Spoiler

[Age]

Forty-three ((Kew years))

[Race]

Kewian Wolf.

[Origin]

Kew II, Serverus Colony.

[Home]

The “Expedient Path” A heavily modified transport ship, refitted with three mounted dual plasma canons (One mounted on top, while the other two on the bottom) with a cargo bay capable of holding one star fighter, equipment and other miscellaneous cargo.

[Sex]

Male

[Height]

5’11

[Build]

Above average in terms of muscle, though not enough to be considered bulky.

[Eyes]

Yellow eyes.

[Clothing and description]

Mcgrath wears body hugging protective armor capable of deflecting lower powered plasma weapons, the armor is a dull grey that is considerably worn, with several nicks and marks on it. On his legs, the fortune hunter wears a loosely fitting pant set held up by, which allows him to hold a holster, a knife sheath several pockets designed to hold different types of ammunition as well as other items necessary for his line of work. Over all of that, Casey also wears a duster, and when in low oxygen environments he wears a helmet with a T-visor, and of course what would a man like him be without an ol’ fashioned flat topped cowboy hat?

[Family]

None that he’s willing to talk about with others, when asked he merely says, “I got a few left, I s’pose.”

[Personality]

(I think I’ll leave this for later, and update it when I get a feel for what he should be like.)

Fancy flyer, gun slinger, smuggler… murderer, one could definitely call Lok any of these, but the Kewian wolf would probably prefer to call himself a fortune hunter first and foremost; any other line of work he may have is merely a stepping stone to get to that goal. The fortune hunter wasn’t originally from Lylat in fact he was from another star system entirely, though in order to get the creature to talk about his home you’d probably have to buy him a drink.

He did come to the Lylat system for a reason other than to continue his exploits in this foreign system, as it is rumored one of Kew II’s old colony ships gave back a “mission complete” signal, only problem with that is it two hundred years late and already assumed to have perished in the great expanses of space. As far as McGraw knew he was the only idiot who got it in his head to go find the colony ship, or what remains of the thing. it wasn’t only to possibly get rich off of the find, but the aged man also had a personal investment, as one of his great grandfathers how ever many generations back was a crew member of that ship and it was only fair to find the dead man’s remains and have them buried back home.

 [Abilities]

McGraw was, as far as he knew, one of the fastest gunmen alive, and while he did have skills with fancy flying it wasn’t how he preferred to settle things, man to man, in other words. His skills extend beyond combat as well, for example Casey is pretty good with a harmonica, and will often play it instead of listening to a radio, he is also pretty handy at cooking, being that he had to do it for himself for years.

 [Other]

The “Expedient Path” is a modified formerly decommissioned human transport ship, made to transfer goods around the solar system, the ship was handed around, going under many different names until it landed in Casey’s lap. It took the man ten years to get his trusty ship the way he wanted, slap dashed with parts not originally made for its model, upgraded weapons, engines, communication and shields systems, as well as expanding the size of the cargo bay to be able to hold a star fighter in case that was needed.

Despite the name "Kewian wolf", this species isn't originally from the planet Kew, rather, Kew's moon. Despite the moon's small size in comparison to the planet it orbits, Kew II has more mass than it should, which allows for stronger gravitational pull, and an atmosphere which helps the planet host life. However, the moon's atmosphere isn't thick enough to defend the organisms from all of the harmful UV rays, as such life on this world has adapted protective measures. Kewian wolves evolved to have a segmented metallic exoskeleton.

--Testing a new sheet--

TL;DR// hot-tempered electricity-based pseudo-Jedi on an adventure to find valuable tech or junk to bring back to her people for status and citizen rights.

Character's Full Name: Anniken Fisker of the “Casanova” (Or just “the pilgrim”)
Reason or meaning of name: Anniken, daughter of Adam Fisker, born to the “Casanova”, generation-ship of the “Artemis flotilla”.

Spoiler

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Age: Twenty-three

Eye Color: Pale blue irises with a darker blue hue surrounding the pupil.
      Glasses or contacts: None.

Hair Colour: White with an almost completely faded orange.

Fur colour: A majority of her body is covered in grey fur, namely the back side of her legs, her entire back and upper head. The fur on her lower muzzle, neck upper and lower torso is white, while between the two colours is orange. The base of her ears, whole arms and waist are orange as well.
Distinguishable hair/fur feature (bald, receding hairline, etc.): Depending on how intensely she uses her powers, as well as how where she channels said powers, she does run the risk singing her fur and hair in places.

Typical hairstyle: Generally when she’s piloting vehicles of any sort she has it styled in a short ponytail, when on the ground she lets it loose (unless in hotter climates), being near shoulder length it doesn’t tend to get in the way.

Height: four foot eleven.
Type of body/build: Fisker is Petite yet with an athletic build, little fat on her body.

Nationality: Civilian (Currently pilgrim status) of the Artemis Flotilla.

Race: Channel Island fox (Urocyon littoralis), esper.

Distinguishing Marks:
       Scars:
She has a few scars on her body, most of them being where her implants are, while others are simply gained over time from injury. All of which are generally well covered by her fur.

Accent: A slight Norwegian accent.

Clothing description: Depending on the world she’s on, Anniken’s clothing will be changed to accommodate the environment, as well as the stability of the world. Most of her clothing baring the insignia of her people on it; A white ring formation in a Borromean rings–like fashion with a larger circle surrounding them, with the words “International Space Association, Artimis, Casanova” inscribed on it.

What is consistent with whatever she may wear is the extra gear she keeps with her no matter what, including: Her wrist mounted computer and multi-tool (Left arm), segmented amplifier/thermal skin suit, fingerless gloves and split-toe shoes made for “urban exploration”, all of which have been tinkered with to allow for ease of channeling electricity. She also has an affinity for Keffiyeh (Shemagh or Arabian scarf, if you prefer), and will were a white spotted, light blue one on her neck if she can get away with it.

OTHER MISC. INFORMATION

Other (anything that isn’t mentioned): The pilgrim owns two ships; a really old transport vessel (Very much reminiscent of the “D77-TC Pelican Dropship” in size and shape.) that she had inherited from her father who had used the ship on his pilgrimage when he had been young, her other ship is what looks to be an overhauled Wolfen (Lylat wars era) renamed the “Grey-gut Interloper” or “GI”.

The transport vessel, named the “Void Crusader”, was at one point a ship that had been commonly used to transport goods or personal on human controlled worlds, but is now something the colony fleet “Artemis” refit and send their young with when they start their pilgrimage. It’s living quarters, bedroom (Meaning, one bed and a storage space for items of ranging need.), kitchen, washroom and equipment storage are all with in a tightly packed 10x10x10 foot (Or 3x3x3 meters) area, the rooms are connected in an ascending spiral ((*)). The outside of the ship at the backend under the rear end thrusters (originally made to hold goods or vehicles to transport), was refitted to hold and secure an interceptor sized star fighter; this is where the “GI” sits. The transport ship is armed with two mounted tri-plasma turrets, one on the bottom near the cockpit, the other on top, approximately middle length. It is also armed with proton-torpedo launcher near the cockpit, as well as a mass-accelerator gun that sits tucked in the underside of the ship ready to fend off larger vessels.

The star fighter “GI” is Anniken’s pride and joy, something she spent countless hours on after she found it’s mass of damaged and scuffed hull at a relatively low price in one of Papetoon’s scrap yards, at the time, it wasn’t even airworthy let alone confrontation worthy, as it lacked engines, weapons and a shielding system. It took months, but the ship was now fitted with dual plasma cannons capable of simultaneous or alternating fire, a torpedo launcher and a flare dropping for missile evasion. A mass regulator system that is connected to both the shielding and the twin-ion thrusters, allows for the ship to be fast, maneuverable and well protected, though not all at once, with the mass regulator you need to manually choose what needs power in any situation (This is usually alleviated with a VI).

Due to her status of being born to a family with some influence on her home generation ship “Casanova”, Anniken was raised to meet raised expectations, as her father brought back something of great worth when he had returned from his pilgrimage.

 ((*https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkZ_OmtO3_8 for reference*))

Abilities: Anniken is an esper, and classed as an Electrokinetic, giving her the ability to channel lightning in and out of her body. An esper’s power is gained though genetic engineering at a young age, until one is old enough to have amplifier implants in their body the most they could do is power a light bulb or magnetically lift a metal cup. The strength of an esper’s abilities is a combination of her metabolism, mental fortitude, and amplifier implants; all of these factors help to encourage espers to choose healthier life styles in order to be adept with their powers.

Anniken’s abilities are strong enough to send bolts of lightning at a foe, or a lift a sizable piece of metal through electromagnetism. Though like any esper from the flotilla, her best abilities are tool assisted, from either her wrist mounted multitool that allows for offensive or passive uses, or perhaps jury rigged odds and ends to assist with creative uses for her powers.

A fox living in the flotilla grows used to taking things apart and putting them back together, in fact, it is likely there isn’t a person living in the flotilla that doesn’t have some skill in tinkering with tech, and Anniken can be accused of being more of a tinkerer than most.

Weaknesses: When she “activates” her powers she’s drawing power from her own “reserves”, constant use can put her at a disadvantage, as her magnetic shielding is very reliant on her abilities. Water is very damaging to her if she is submerged with her power active, and if it isn’t she’s put in a very disadvantageous position as Anniken wouldn’t be able to defend herself if a situation of that nature happens.

Prefered weaponry and gear: While she is able to bring herself to do it, the pilgrim prefers to not leave a trail of bodies in her wake, and will rely on weapons that allow her to focus on strategies that give the ability to disarm, stun or non-lethally neutralize. As for what she has personally:

A Michio Saber is what she prefers to use when she has to get up close and personal, though she views it less as a weapon and more as a tool.

Her powers and her multitool when combined make for devastating attacks when she isn’t solely using them for to power her magnetic friction shields, enhanced movement and other less combat focus roles.

IcWS, (or interchangeable weapon system) is a gun that allows for several different weapon modes, quick and easy to change from a heavy blaster for ease of concealment, to a submachine gun for when one has more than one target and not a lot of time, to a shotgun mode that allows the user to deal with tougher targets at close range, and last but not least a carbine mode for targets a bit farther off.

Character's Full Name: Hain Model “DSS” MK 3 serial number 0307-SC //*//
Reason or meaning of name: Automated factory name, Hain being the programs that make up its artificial intelligence.

//* If a name is designated by organics, the platform will refer to its self as such//

Spoiler

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Age:  Factory approved functionality at three months prior.

Eye Color: Rather than eyes, the hain platform instead has one bulb that is emitting a white light, occasionally it uses a three sided shutter to “blink” away any debris that builds up.

Height: Standing at full height, the synthetic is six feet exactly.
Type of body/build: A mix of psychological warfare and necessity went into the design of the hain platform: Its legs were of digitigrade design the platform’s head did not share any animalistic features with its body, instead it had a flashlight-esk head covered by a hood-like covering which itself sported two flap like “ears” that would raise and lower when expressing “confusion”. Its hands sported four fingers, with equal numbers on each side

Nationality: Loyalty rests only to the Hain network to which the network answers only to [REDACTED].

Race: Synthetic platform physiologically reminiscent of a canine.

Paint job: A dull white paint job covers the synthetic’s body, while the pauldrons on its shoulders sport a dark blue colouring. If one were to examine its chest plate, they’d find a small design of a Heron, coloured in red.

Distinguishing Marks: Around its entire frame are nicks and scratches and weather damaged in such a way that on could tell Titania or any desert location was where the machine was from. Part of its left pauldron was scorched black by blaster fire.

Accent: A digitized speech makes every word deliberate and pronounced, with no short hand variations.

Clothing description: Synthetics hardly have need to wear any articles clothing, but this Hain wore a scarf around its neck area. This would be considered odd among its creators, since it did not have a sense of self the same way organics did.

OTHER MISC. INFORMATION

History: When it was apparent the “legion commandos” program was doomed, the project director chairman ordered copies of all the work they put into the project

Family: The hain network and by extension of muscle memory programming, the products of the CC/MM “legion commandos” program.

Other (anything that isn’t mentioned): //It’s no secret but the hain platform is ‘inspired’ heavily on the geth of mass effect, infact take ‘em and place them side by side, you might be saying to yourself “Hey, it’s some sort of animal geth”. You wouldn’t be wrong in thinking that but there is a little difference not specified, and won’t be until it becomes relevant to the RP//

Abilities: Unless the kinetic force is strong enough, the platform is able to continue pushing forward despite being under constant fire, without fear or need of a break, it will continue pursuing a target until it or the platform is dealt with.

Flaws: Because of its synthetic nature, the hain platform isn’t able to heal and must seek outside help if the damage is too extensive. Electric based attacks or Ionic plasma will wreak havoc on the platform’s systems, in fact add water into the equation and the thing will be as good as dead ((Note: water on its own won’t do anything as its innards are coated in a water proof plastic)). To save space for other relevant programming, the muscle memory programming for close-quarters-combat and battle were simplified, while the platform might have a hard hit it won’t get creative if it is left with its wrist blade.

Prefered weaponry and gear: The hain platform was supplied with a blaster rifle, plasma shotgun and a plasma sniper, all of which was not made with organic use in mind so they lack a cooling system or sights, and within its wrist ready to be used at all times was a high frequency blade. For safety reasons high valued platforms like the MK 3 sport a powerful personal defense shield to prevent blaster fire from roasting the sensitive parts and equipment inside its armored torso.

Character's Full Name: CSV Matriarch
Reason or Meaning of name: Issued name of the ship the melded AI was attached to.

//The conciousness of a ship AI in the body of a living organism//

Spoiler

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Age: Thirty-seven

Eye Color: Originally green, enhancements in the eye glow a soft yellow.

Hair Color: Red.

Fur color: Orange.
Distinguishable hair/fur feature (bald, receding hairline, etc.): Patches of fur are missing with scars on some of the more visible skin.

Typical hairstyle: Tied back into a ponytail for efficiency.

Height: 5'8
       Type of body/build: Athletic.

Nationality: (Technically) Cornarian.

Race: Red fox

Distinguishing Marks: All along her body, though obscured by her fur, are scars that would clue an observer of cybernetics.

Accent: Cornerian.

Clothing description: Generally never needing to deal with matters in person, the CSV Matriarch wears dark robes over something resembling a Cornerian officer's uniform, her face is obscured by a hood.

OTHER MISC. INFORMATION

Other (anything that isn’t mentioned): Once, CSV Matriarch was a prototype artificial intelligence attached to a frigate during the lylat wars, tasked with Cyberwarfare and anti-fighter ship defenses. The ship, crew and equipment performed admirably throughout the war, but eventually met it's end over Titania. In a desperate bid to survive, the AI forcefully melded it's being with a crew member still in cryo-sleep. Ever since, it has been slowly enhancing the body it stole with cybernetics, in it's mind, the body was becoming more efficient.

The Matriarch believes that organic evolutionary growth can only happen through adversity, while peace only leads to stagnation and extinction. With that philosophy, she built an organization that seeks to empower Lylat in times of conflict. In peace time, the organization vows to find an enemy for the Lylat system to contend with, or if necessary make one.

"Peace is the ultimate falsehood, passion drives us all.
Weaving passion, I'll build strength.
