ArwingFan
What are your thoughts on the two new vehicles? I like the designs, but what role does the hover-landmaster fill that the arwing doesn't?
StarFoxMaster64
I think the point of the new landmaster is they can fit extra obstacles on levels, like titania has some open ditches that need to be cleared so maybe that's the point. Overall I am impressed, I am just hoping they control well.

DZComposer
The Landmaster's hover in SFZ is really just an extension of its previous hover ability coupled with a cool animation. While it can fly higher, longer, and with more maneuverability than in previous games, It can't fly indefinitely. When your boost runs out, it will go back to being a tank. It's also slow as balls when compared to the Arwing, but can fuck ground targets up much easier than the Arwing can, even in walker mode. It's all about the right craft for the job. Fighting Star Wolf? Use the Arwing. Need to rescue Peppy from a sand worm? Use the Landmaster. The Gyrowing exists for one sole reason: Direct-Eye. CrypticQuery
I'm a sucker for helicopters and certainly got a kick out of the GyroWing in that regard - it's akin to a sci-fi take on the V22 Osprey. Direct-i/Direct-Eye looking like ROB is a bonus.
DZComposer
Eh, I think it's more like a Doak VZ-4:
The VGM Lover
My opinion: All three vehicle are valuable in thier own right, and each serve a different purpose: Arwing: get places quickly and decisively. Landmaster: Screw the ground HARD while avoiding deadly weather conditions. Gyrowing: Accurately but efficiently clear an occupation. Edited July 17, 2015 by amcintyr9998 ... My 3DS I suppose... Robert Monroe
I think the Gyrowing looks a little silly but I like that we have a hovering vehicle that can linger in one spot and scope out secret areas. The Landmaster's new hover mode is just fucking gorgeous and cool looking.

Patch93
The Gravmaster reminds me of the scrapped transformation in the earlier builds of Star Fox 2.
That Ain't Falco
Some part of me really digs the gyro, and I don't know why.

Wow, I don't remember seeing this particular build before. I think after all is said and done, we will have gotten to experience SF2 without them actually releasing it. Between SFC and SFZ I think all of SF2's core concepts have finally made it out.
