Wii a Popular Science "Best of What's New"

Popular Science just mailed out their latest issue, the one with the best of what's new awards.

The winner of the Home Entertainment category? The Wii! Despite the graphical shortcomings, PopSci loved it!

But it was tough love. There were some interesting ones.

But what would win Best Innovation?

*drumroll*

A nail.

Yes, you read right, a FREAKING NAIL! As it hit it with a hammer!

A NAIL outdid the Wii, A building inspired by bubble wrap, a $1000000 exotic car, an adhesive 512KB memory chip smaller than a fingernail, or even artificial, working, human internal organs.

Come on. :/ IMO, each of those was  more innovative than a freaking nail/screw hybrid. Sheesh....

Oh well, at least the Wii beat the PS3 :P

If we are talking about innovations of ALL TIME, why didn't the wheel win?

I seriously doubt that the nail has recieved any interesting upgrades in 2006.
