Description:

For centuries, my clan, the Terterobas, have been living in these harsh Steppes. For centuries, we have clashed with the Pechenegs, Dustums, and Uhhuns. For centuries, we have financed these private wars by tapping into the massive uranium deposits found beneath our feet. But now, I believe it is time for a change in strategy. Now, I believe, is the time to eliminate the other clans, once and for all.

The recent drought has made all the clans weak, but I believe that I can capitalize on this. Striking my enemy when he thinks I cannot, while he is weak himself, is the fastest and most effective way to win this conflict. But, I cannot rely on my people alone. They are far too busy attempting to salvage a distatrous harvest, as well as continuing the mining operations. I have then elected to hire off-world mercenaries, particularly from the Lylat System, although any mercenaries will do. They may think that because I am a simple village chief from Kew, I do not have the money to pay for them. However, once they see my coin, they will realize my legitimacy.

My clan's most dangerous enemies are without a shred of doubt, the Pechenegs. Long have they dreamed of watching my village, Ada Kulun, burn to ashes, my neighbors and family sold into slavery, or worse... They are far more numerous than us, and have weaponry from the Lylat System. Fortunately, for me and my clan, they are foolish. They send their sons into the fray with no thought, watching as their farmers are cut down like wheat before the scythe against professional mercenaries. Nevertheless, attacking the Pechenegs at my current strength will condemn me to defeat. I must deal with the other clans first.

Perhaps I should turn my attention to the Uhhuns. After us, they are the weakest of the Gokturk clans. The Dustums are more powerful than the Uhhuns, but not as powerful as the Pechenegs. I shall have to strike at them at a later date.

All of us Gokturks can easily surprise the off-worlders with our mastery of the terrain. These foreigners come with their shiny boots and blasters, thinking they can crush us. Yes, they may burn our villages, but we can melt into the wilderness and strike back at them. We need not even raise our guns and swords in anger: the Rouran Steppes, our home, is the deadliest foe. These foreigners have no intimate knowledge of our plains, and will find life outside our comfy homes as harsh as a battlefield. While they stumble about the hills and meadows clumsily, we can cloak ourselves behind every rock, every blade of grass, and cut them down, seeing yet unseen. I shall have to inform my mercenaries of this advantage my people have over them.

However, I fear that other enemies that lurk beyond the Steppes would like to see me and my clan destroyed. Who they are, and what their purpose might be, remains unknown at this time. Perhaps it is to obtain my uranium deposits: I simply do not know. I must keep my guard up.

My family, my neighbors, my whole clan, looks to me to lead them to greatness.

This looks like it could be pretty fun. How frequent of posts are you looking for, and what exactly should I try to build my character around for your preference on this RP?

EDIT: Creating said character for approval, that is. Not meaning to sound forward as to say I get in for free and shit.

Falcon, it'd be best if you'd make a character based off of your preferences, not those of others. Even though this is an action RP, your character doesn't have to be a gun-toting macho man. Also, the frequency of posting is of little importance to me. Anyway, it'd be a pleasure for you to come in.

Well, of course I won't go playing Filler-Bot 5K. I should have been a tad more specific.

So! Clearly, Emil is looking mostly towards Lylat for hiring some mercs. Would you then say you don't want him to say, have hired on another person of his own world to also act as help as they'd know the terain and how to read the earth more wisely than those with the higher Tech Level? Would he be one to potentially black mail a higher skilled man who wouldn't take this on, just to have him on his side? That sorta stuff I guess.

Dunno how to fully put it. Mostly just should we be thinking standard hired guns, or do you want us to just have fun with Character creation? And thanks for the tip! But I think I'll be fine enough on taking care of character creation purposes.
