Developers that you want to make the next game

Since Zero is in the hands of Platinum, what other companies you think should make the next Starfox?

I think Retro should get a chance, they're great with Nintendo's franchises such as Metroid and Donkey Kong.

The Ace Combat Team from Namco Bandai.

Exaggerated and rather corny stories with overarching themes of peace and unity/hope in epic war drama with space for engaging character development and lots of throwbacks and call-forward references to a big canon would fit in almost seamlessly. Project ACES wouldn't quite be a bad choice back over at Assault either but... *shrug*

To counter the point that "buh muh kids game", I think everyone who loved SF already has grown quite a bit since the good titles last launched, so it's safe to say times have changed and a change in the games wouldn't hurt.

Besides dramatic flight shooters pretty much don't exist nowadays for some reason so eh, not a lot of competition there either? *shrug*

To add to this, Adventures and Assault were T rated thus intended for more mature audiences, but they never took advantage of it and add the depth to justify it.

I suppose I'm in the odd opinion that Assault was a bit more ballsy with its plot than past SF games, but that's just how I feel. 

But if the story were to be outsourced to anyone, I'd give it to Intelligent Systems. They're under Nintendo's umbrella, and they've proven their mettle with the superb writing in the Fire Emblem games---another series where interacting with your comrades is vital. Maybe they could rub some of that emphasis on comradery on the Star Fox franchise.
