While I agree that SF Command was the genuine low for the series story-wise, I don't get why so many people rage over it and instead focus on the better points of the game: for example, the graphics. I did say long ago that for a DS game, the graphics certainly were very good. I also heard a lot about how fun it was to play it online over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Command does have fun gameplay, nice graphics, and a great soundtrack. The plot really weighs it all down, though. It's like Fire Emblem, but in space. Command really would have been best as a spinoff featuring, maybe, Bill. If it went like that and opted for less than 9 branching paths, it could have been overall, quite fun.

Metroid Prime Hunters, 2004.

Everything else, I agree with. Too bad I didn't have internet before Nintendo pulled that from the Wii and DS.

Spinoff, too. What if Command was more true to its name, letting you command the Cornerian Army against the Anglar Forces? [But then it wouldn't be a Star Fox game] So? Make it Lylat, then, or Star Fox: The Cornerian Army. I don't know!

So how do animal products work in the Lylat system? I thought about this when Pigma tells the team to stop treating him like a pork roast in SFZ.

Maybe as well as anthropomorphic animals with sentience, such as the main cast, there's also lesser evolved versions similar to what's seen on Earth. If I remember correctly there's a reference to lobster being a food in Assault's Corneria(at least I think it's lobster). Or alternatively maybe there's a dark semi-cannibalistic side to the Lylat system we've not seen...
