Just want to know. Me for example the soundtrack I enjoyed was xenoblade chronicles ost and for some reason the ace attorney ost (I hope someone remakes it)

Medieval 2 Total War. I personally find it so amazing. Medieval battles with the accompanying music immerses you in the experience.

Two games I've played which has amazing music is most definitely Undertale and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Especially the latter, everything about its music just reeks of epicness. For example:

I second Undertale, and add:

But also the Souls games, especially Demon's Souls and Bloodborne.

Basically anything on the Sega Genesis is gold.

Clicking on both of the logos in my signature is beneficial to answering the question as well.

I could list off hundreds of vidya games that have amazing compositions, Mother 3, Sonic the Hedgehog Games, Even some really cool new games like Deux Ex and Ace Attorney.

But the best musical experience I've ever had for a game was with the 2002 game The Hobbit.

It's not flashy or honestly great in any aspect, but when I was 12 I played this as a solo on violin and enjoyed every second of it.

It's a close tie between the intro to Super Smash Bros Brawl and the dissonant Corneria theme in Star Fox Assault. The latter perfectly musically describes the situation, but the former was all DADADADUNDUNDUN.... AUDI FAMAM, ILLIUS.... *walks away, humming theme*

Oh holy hell, how could I forget!? Best musical experience in a game ever would have to be G-Darius:

Adam is track 2 on that playlist but I wanted to make sure it was listened to. One of the few game soundtracks I can listen to separate from the game. I can jam to it regardless of setting.

Renard even made an alter-ego based on Darius music named *dun dun dunn dunnnn* Darius.

All of Undertale. From the title that of the song that's labeled "spoopy" in the game files to the dog song. Just everything.

Check out #29, and #41.

(I had JUST FIGURED OUT how to embed by ACCIDENTALLY PRESSING THE ENTER BUTTON. )

Also, this... or these, I suppose. The first soundtrack to really get me rockin'. Check out #46

Also, hearing this on Youtube for the first time, I was like, , holy crap, the N64 had FAR better sound quality than I thought! Crank up that bass!

Didn't realize until I posted that I was embedding two of the same sountracks. Heheh.

So while looking around on YouTube for covers of Undertale OSTs, I came across something called 'Dual Mixes'. I'm not too sure how to describe them, but they sound amazing. Take these ones for example:

Definitely one noteworthy experience should be the ending theme of Ace Combat 04. Beginning of an era I have to say. The feels are still there.

The whole series boasts rich soundtrack, so it's difficult to get a single piece to define the series as a whole as most are made to be much better in-context, even if they have merit as individual works.
