What's the cheapest way to fix a paint scratch on a black car.

BlitzCo45

Question

On Monday, I ended up putting a rather long, about a foot, (but not very deep) scratch on my black Chevy suburban. I would ignore it, but my current circumstances force me to try to fix it.

What is the cheapest and most effective way to fix a paint scratch on a car.

Google what the exact color code for the car by the manufacturer. Then go to Autozone and ask the dude if they have the car paint for it.

You'll get a tube with paint and a brush. From there you paint away the regret of your driving failure and live on like nothing ever happened.

Take a look at the link below for detailed instructions.  Just make sure that the touch up paint that you purchase matches the OEM paint color on your car.  If you really want the OEM paint, I'm sure a dealership won't have a problem selling you some, but aftermarket options probably work out cheaper.
