Leon
I suppose there could be a relation, but the problem I have with this theory is that nobody who worked on X went on to develop SF64. X was handled by Yoshio Sakamoto and his team who never developed any N64 titles at all.

Leon
Lots of stages in Smash Bros. take music from other games. The Coliseum takes a piece from Soma Bringer, but that game has no relation to Fire Emblem except being a Japanese developed RPG (Not even an SRPG at that!). It should also be noted that Sakurai has said that he liked the Tunnel Theme personally, and what other stage would it really fit with?
