Started off as something sweet. It started to get stale when it transitiioned the SF64 training level music remix. Same with the Corneria level. When you complete that level, it's the same "Disney-like" music from SF64 when the Arwings are blasting off into outer space. They composed an entirely different score for the level. Why not maintain that change instead of lazily borrowing from SF64 towards the end? 2. It's being released on a shoddy console. Wii U hardware has bad reviews on Amazon. Before reading the reviews there, I was thinking of getitng a Wii U sometime in the future. No longer the case. Tonnes of ppl are reporting problems with the gamepad, like having to sit next to the console just to see contents streamed to the gamepad. WTF? 1. Is this kid serious? 2. This kid is serious. When do I start to get worried. Is it infectious? I'm not familiar with this disease.
hirobo2
I usually never buy electronics until I've read their reviews on Amazon. Just take a look at this: http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-Wii-Console-Black-Deluxe-U/product-reviews/B009AGXH64/ref=cm_cr_pr_btm_link_2?ie=UTF8&filterBy=addOneStar&showViewpoints=0&filterByStar=addOneStar&pageNumber=2 Particularly, read the 1 star reviews. Stuff like this turns me off from getting the Wii U...

Stuff like this turns me off from getting the Wii U... 5 Stars - 68% or Reviews 1 Star - 12% or reviews Half of these reviews aren't even genuine review. They're "NINTENDO SUCKS XBONE 1!!!DDD!D!D!D!D!D" and complaining about the price. I've found twelve reviews FROM THAT LINK with big spelling errors. It's like you just want to be offended so you seem interesting and can complain to others. Why not read all reviews instead of just looking for the bad, hm? Stuff like this turns me off from getting the Wii U... That link proves your confirmation bias. 83% of reviews are 3 star or more. Of the 12% that are 1 star, a bunch are trolls ("Because of this over priced, and undercharged P O S; Nintendo lost the console war") and a further bunch are user-error ("Didn't output to tv"). 1-star reviews citing actual issues with the system seem to be a minority. The vast majority of Amazon users on the link you provided are happy with their system to one degree or another. By the way, the Amazon 1-star reviews for the PS4 and Xbox One are similar in nature and percentage to the ones for the Wii U. 1-star reviews aren't the ones you should be focusing on anyway. They're often reactionary and exaggerated. It's the 2 and 3 star reviews that tell you the most about a product's shortcomings.

WTF? It's hardly that severe. If the gamepad and console are in the same room, you're golden. But if you wanted to create levels in Super Mario Maker while taking a dump, well... That Ain't Falco
Question: did he did he quote me on my misguided Thunderbirds comparison that someone debunked soon after he did oh I'll carry on Also, doesn't Amazon have a reputation for troll reviews? Geez, kid, don't believe everything you hear on the internet. Personally, I got my Wii U purely for Star Fox potential, but why are you relying on total strangers, rather than people you know with the console? I've never had an issue with gamepad connectivity, and I play with my sensor bar and console on the other side of the room. I don't know what those guys were buying. EDIT: The training level music was also used as non-emergency briefing music in SFAs, so are we gonna complain about that, too? Command also used it for briefing music. SF, as a series, has a tendency to reuse music, partly to show evolution of technology, partly because it's such an iconic part of the series, partly because it can be implied that at least some of it is fairly common music on Corneria (as seen in SFAd's opening), and partly to show contrast, and hint at story (Assault's dissonant Corneria remix was an excellent way to show that something was very wrong). At this point, I doubt you even like the series, because you seem so eager to complain about it. It's a difficult task to get onto my bad list, and you're edging closer. (Ha ha, edgeing. Get it? Because... I don't know where I was going with that pun.) Moral of the story: Don't try to hate something. It just doesn't work, and it's pretty obvious. It's much more satisfying to be happy with a game, than to grasp at straws for the last "So HA!" Of course they're going to play off nostalgia, but you could also argue that purely because it's a Star Fox game. Of course the music is similar, the series has its own unique feel, and often remixes old music. You aren't complaining about the LoZ overworld theme being overused, or the SMB underwater theme being overused, or the Pokemon intro theme being overused, so please, just look on the gigantic bright side, rather than trying to make your own dark side. Right now, you sound like one of those "MOTION CONTROLS ARE BAD BECAUSE I SAY SO" people. Edited December 23, 2015 by That Ain't Falco
hirobo2
This has nothin 2 do w Amazon. My hype level is back to 7/10 after seeing this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UiQdGvr34w It suffers the same reason why Assault sold poorly: Both had good SFX, but everything on the screen appeared like a jumbled confusing mess. In effect, the Platinum guys had a better handle of the game contents than the Namco guys b/c in SFZero, things are crisp and clear leaving no confusion as to the enemy targets from the background and SFX... Shmibli7
The best and also the worst thing about the internet is the fact that it's open to everyone. That includes whiners and trolls. The internet community, while it includes many good people, is a brutal, hateful, ungrateful place as a whole. People will complain about anything, especially with the promise of anonymity. It is stupid to complain about not having a StarFox game and then complain when one is made.
