((Yeah, Miss Crestmere High is getting a little stale. How about we ring the first bell? And by the way, Shmibli, its still early. we're still having breakfast. lol))

At 7:55 a.m., the first bell rang. Amelia, who was in the middle of spinning some wild tale from a far away magical land about an instance at the mall, had to put her current narrative on hold as she had to get to class. "Aww man! I was getting to the juiciest part," she said standing up with her Louis Vuitton backpack and collecting her trash to throw away. Amber was putting her books and folder into a more modestly-priced but just as stylish leather satchel.

"You owe me a honey bun," Derek said, giving Royale the stink eye, as he got up and slung his backpack over his shoulder.

(Okay, thanks. Didn't know the timetable.)

"What do you have first?" Vlady asked his nephew.

"Um... Math." Jasper said, after hastily pulling out his first day itinerary from his pocket.

"Okay. You two are in the same class, so you're set." Vlady replied to Jasper and Sev.

"And I have... History."  He said.

"Wait, they don't have class numbers on here." Sev said.

"What?" Vlady responded.

At that moment, an ocean of students started walking their way.

"Well." Vlady said. "We ask them."

Sven looked up as he heard the bell ring. Reaching down he picked up the binder for this class out of his bag and set it on his desk, covering his half hearted doodle. He looked around a little nervous, he was in a new school, with no friends, and knowing only a handfull of the language that was spoken. "Ill be fine, I hope." he thought to himself as he looked around the class. The teacher seemed nice enough though.

"Woo!" exclaimed Mr. K as the bell rang, clapping his hands slowly yet forcefully over his head. "Education!" Mr. K was far more enthusiastic than most of the lethargic pupils he was about to teach today. He glanced at each students as they shuffled by his desk and slouched down on their respective seat. He noticed the new student, Sven, whose accent was thicker than Sandor's feathered coating, keeping to himself, reluctant to socialize. Mr. K, eager to thrust forth the light of Corneria into this hopeful individual, walked towards him.

"So, how are you finding Corneria, Sven?" he asked, digging his fists into the pockets of his neat jean pants, which were straddling the line between school appropriate and prohibited.

Sven watched as students came in from the hallway, quickly filling the seats. He looked down and fiddled with the settings on his translator, it was a fairly nice little gadget that his dad had given him as a 17th birthday present, along with a car thst was just being finished.

As Mr.K started class and walked twords him he asked him how he was finding Corneria. He could feel many pairs of eyes shift to him.

He tried to speak clearly as he responded. "Its all new to me, interesting but different from Fichina." `oh lord my accent makes me stick out too much' he thought silently as he continued " I'm used to the mountains and trees, but here its flat, and a lot warmer too."

Mr. K nodded as Sven continued.

"Ah, well, in time, you can develop the Cornerian accent so that your native Fortunan accent will be barely noticeable. However..." Sandor leaned in towards Sven's ear, and spoke in his traditional, think Magyar accent. "Don't lose touch with who you really are." He smiled as he stood up straight once again.

"--Gurl, YEZZZ!" Amelia exclaimed, her parting words to Amber (and Derek, though he wasn't a "gurl") as she entered history class. She swanned into class, her designer bag on the crook of her arm and her school satchel slung on her shoulder, as if she were on the runway at Fashion Week. Her desk was in the front row, so she had no issue finding it. Sitting down, she flipped her hair before she took out her textbook and her binder. She also took out her phone and checked the time before casually placing it on her desk. Glancing behind her, she noticed a new classmate as he and Mr. K. were getting chummy. She turned around, not thinking too much of it, and waited for class to start.

Elizabeth's and Korben's ears twitched at the howling of Amelia as she waltzed into class like a fashion model who took off a sleek winter coat to reveal a hot summer top in the middle of the runway, stunning fashion journalists as their cameras nearly blinded her with their flashes. They brought their heads up from their books and saw Amelia sit down a few rows in front of them.

"Hey, Amelia," greeted Korben distantly.

Korben's black v-neck, black jeans, black Converse skate sneakers, black leather jacket, and sunglasses, which was stuffed inside his jacket's pocket, was practically his Autumn school uniform. Korben fell in love with black after watching a television promo of the Black Guards, Corneria's most famous military force, known for their all black uniforms. "I'm going to do this when I'm older," Korben thought.

Korben's shirt fit him just right, just so that only some of his well-maintained muscular torso peeked out its chiseled physique through the soft, smooth fabric. His black jeans sagged by his shoes, however, since they were a bit too long for him. He had to roll up the lower portions of his pants to keep them clean and make sure they were not being stepped on by his Converse sneakers. Korben also had a tendency to tie his shoes too loosely, making tying his shoes a frequent activity of his.

"Umm..." Vlady hummed as he walked into class a tad late, eyes transfixed on the itinerary he held in his hand. He looked around the history classroom and when he saw that it was, indeed where he needed to be let out a small "Yes."

Sitting down, he got ready for what the class might hold.

Sven listened to Mr.K as he saw another student enter the room, rather flamboyantly and sit down.

He returned his attention to the teacher, and flashed a thumbs up to him after he whispered in his ear. "I wont."

Vlady noticed the teacher and the other student talking but looked down at his transcript. Seeing the name of has home planet, Venom, he scribbled it out and went on.

Amelia turned around at the sound of Korben's voice. "Oh, hey, sweetums." She looked him from head to toe, examining his attire, and said, "Loving the 'Black is the new Black' motif you got going on."

"Thanks," replied Korben warmly. "It's a color that goes well with almost any outfit," he said, wiping his shoulder free of some minuscule particles of dust, "plus it's my favorite color."

Mr. K winked as he left his exotic pupil to himself, and approached the door, ready to close it and start the day. Joe and Diana noticed this and, nodding to each other, rose up from their seats simultaneously and walked towards Sven.

"Hey hey hey, dude," began Joe, strutting beside Sven, pulling up a chair from a nearby desk, "what's up?" Diana remained standing, placing her hands in her jeans' pockets.

Vlady sat, after filling out his transcript, ready for class. The teacher was strange to him. He didn't seem Cornerian. Neither did the student he was talking to.

"Class full of foreigners." The Venomian thought to himself. "I like it."

He thought about Jasper and Sev in one of the other classrooms. He hoped they wouldn't be quick to announce their Venomian upbringing.

Sven was watching Mr. K walk to the door to close it when two students, came over to him. One even pulled up a chair. "Oh hello!" he said happily "Waiting for class to......" the word escaped him. he paused and pulled out his translator and quickly tapped the display a few times to find the right word from his own language to the English equivalent. "for class to start." The pair seemed friendly, but this was his first encounter, so he wasn't sure about them. "My name is Sven. What are yours?" He said as he motioned to both of them.

"Un străin! (A foreigner!)" exclaimed Joe to Diana in Vlach. She raised her eyebrows. He turned to her. " "My name is Joe."

"I'm Diana," said Diana, introducing herself. Joe's eyes were caught by Sven's fancy translator. He glanced between it and Sven.

"Nice gadget you've got there. What is it, some type of translator?" he asked.

"Jis atrodo brangus... (It looks expensive....)" analyzed Diana in Balt.

"Hmm..." uttered Joe, looking at the translator. He held Sven's hand to get a closer look, then squeezed a pressure point on it incredibly tight. "Listen here, barbar, you're on Corneria now. It's a big world, and you need to watch yourself, see?" Joe's eyes sharpened, and seemed to pierce through Sven's very body. He let go, throwing the hand away from him. Joe and Diana went back to their seats as if nothing wrong had happened. Wladyslaw watched uneasily from his chair.

Sven was a little shaken by Joe's threat. He rubbed his wrist where he grabbed and pinched it. "Juka" he swore under his breath in his native tounge. He would deal with him later, for now class was starting. And a Semnone is the worst enemy one can make.

Mr K.'s door slammed to grab the attention of his students. He walked to his desk to briefly look over his to-do list for his class before hearing the announcements of the principal.

"Good morning, Crestmere High School!" said the principal enthusiastically. "Today is Monday, November 4th. Please stand for the pledge of allegiance." Like clockwork, all of the students, their chairs scraping against the linoleum floor, stood from their seats and placed their hands at their hearts rather unenthusiastically. They began saying the pledge monotonously. As Bohdan and Wladyslaw were still considered subjects of the Czar of Ruthenia, they hesitated to even place their hands at their hearts, but nevertheless did so out of respect for the world they were in, plus they did not want to be stared at.

Amelia stood also and said the pledge of allegiance, as per custom on every weekday morning since kindergarten. It was a mere matter of course to her. As much as she liked being a Cornerian citizen, she did find this to be redundant since she's done it every day for ten years. Regardless, the pledge finished, and the students sat back down and waited for class to commence.

((By the way, Armin, I want to do a home room period where the principal gives the morning announcements. Better yet, the morning show thing that some schools have. I remember back in my day long ago in the stone-age, the students in the A/V club would put together and do the school announcements. The way they did it was almost like a sketch-comedy show lol))

Jolene and Zane stood and recited the pledge as well, the short phrases tumbling past their lips in rhythmic cadence.

As the pledge was ending, a straggler trickled in through the door as quietly as he could. The scrawny coyote did his best to blend in with the students, hand on his heart as he mumbled the last bit and scurried to his seat.

Mr. K. finished saying his pledge, his hand lowering from a position next to his medallion. He noticed that same coyote student who is frequently late trying to sneak in again. He picked up his laser pointer.

"Antoine. You are late," Mr. K. said, turning on his laser pointer, aiming at Antoine's chest. "Mehhhh!" Mr. K. then put down his laser pointer and marked Antoine's tardiness in the school online attendance sheet, as well as his little black composition notebook. "You're going in my book again, Antoine."

Antoine looked down at the tiny red dot on his chest and his eyes widened in outrage. "What!? That's not fair! I was only late by like a minute! The announcements are still on!"

Zane groaned quietly to himself as Antoine started up. He didn't understand why he was always so mouthy. Dressed in an old gray t-shirt a few sizes too big for him, a pair of torn jeans and ratty sneakers, the wiry coyote hardly looked intimidating. What was he trying to prove?

"Your chair is over there," said Mr. K., picking back up his laser pointer and turning it on, pointing it at Antoine's seat. "Come Antoine, learn."

Meanwhile, the Chmielnicki brothers were snickering at Antoine's predicament. Michael was scratching one of his gills, while Lorenzo was staring at his pencil laying on his desk, pushing it around.
