Sol-Ratcht Saporro
As I take off the shrinkwrap on this game, I was wondering for those of you who got a chance to play it or just read about it and all that what do you really think of this game? Are there any like major differences in the GC version or the Wii? Is it the best game up to date on the whole series? Or is it just okay/pretty good? I'm just really hyped to play this game. Steve
well I have been waiting for this game for like 4 years...I guess that resumes how I feel about it.
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
Wow! I didn't think it was that long ago. You got/getting the Wii vers right?
Kal
Having never played yet spoiled myself in it... Lemme just tell you this: Sixth dungeon is SICK! XD
Steve
yes I'm going for the Wii version, as 9 of 10 people will probably do
ONE_HELLCAT
How is this game? Let me put it this way. On a list of games I had to get at launch. LoZ TP wasn't there. But I bought it anyway. Now, I got it for my sister and well I don't like LoZ. This game is awesome. But I'd only like the Wii version. Now if a person who isn't a fan and really doesn't like the series in the first place thinks this game is awesome, that's a good sign.
Ludvig11
two words... MUST GET!! but it costs like from 1/3 of the price of the Wii it self, I don't know when I would be able to get it, and I never had a GC so..
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
Lemme just say, the first couple of minutes are freggin fun! Hey, Hellcat, I just got into the series and this game is so cool! I haven't really gotten out of Ordon Village (because of school) yet, well no...I got locked up somewhere else. I just forgot the name of this other place but as soon as I'm gettin home I'm going to keep playing. I feel as though if you don't get the Wii version, you really miss out. Fishing and Fighting with a Wii Mote is far more innovative than a regular old GC controller. All I know for me is....It's Wolfie time! WHOO HOO!*dances*
salmon45
Fishing with the Wii cintroller is very fun.
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
Yes, indeed! Although, I tend to prefer fighting over fishing.

Mr. Krystal
The known differences between Wii and GC versions: 1. I think that the sharpness, not detail, of the image is better on Wii. 2. The whole game is mirrored on Wii. Link is a lefty, but most players are right-handed, so Link (and everything else in the game) is right-handed in the Wii version. (Probably too much to change at the last minute, so they just applied a filter to the output video). I have found it really fun. Even non-furries will get a kick out of Wolf Link. He's a lot faster than the two-footed version and you get to do the dirty work on your enemies with your teeth. No sword to get in the way.
FireFox516
Well, considering I wasn't even on planning to buy this game, I must say that I'm glad I did. Although I don't think this game is better than The Wind Waker, I'm still enjoying it... but that may be because the Wii Remote makes it so much fun to play. And for once, I actually like the Link in this game... he doesn't seem as cocky as the others in the past... I really only wanted to get this game for the fishing, but seeing how I haven't been able to do much of that lately, I'm still enjoying it. Really glad I chose it over Red Steel.. Kal
I can't get over the sickness of the sixth temple...XD Not the layout, not the boss, not even the item (though it is quite pimpastic). Simply...argh, some one has to see its awesomeness! Ludvig11
I feel a bit shame that I enver managed to finish OoT, and I just rented MM back in 2000... I have missed more then alot of Nintendo..
Conall Drest
My mum hinted I am getting it for christmas even though im not even christian. I did get a GCN for it basically and the basic reason why I got my faith back in nintendo (as well as remembering old days of the N64). I NEED this game cause GCN never had any games that really appealed to me much like what the N64 did.
Sol-Ratcht Saporro
^Congrats! Now you'll be able to comment on its awesomeness too! To me it seems like Midna is becoming annoying.....Eeh Hee! Useful but a pain in the rear.....Especially that giggle comming from the Wii-Mote. Mr. Krystal
She's like Navi with a soul. ...Okay, not quite, but at least half a soul. I love Midna for some reason. She's kinda funny. My one question is, "isn't that helmet a little heavy?"

Ramuza
you guys played that game? man I have to wait until my pre-order *which was like 2 years ago* to come to my house so I can play the game *its the gamecube version*, none of my game stores have a playable Wii console and they don't have a recent Gamecube demo disc of it... Sol-Ratcht Saporro
Awww...but you're missing out! Well, that's how I feel. The Wii version is so awersome! But still its AWESOME! I'm at the Forest Temple Boss! WHOOOOOOO! *jumps around in glee*
Taco-Man
Should I feel stupid? I preordered the GCN version a couple years ago, and I have a Wii, a week from the release of the GCN version. I'm still getting the GCN version >_> Don't say Wii controls > GCN controls in your reasoning (it's your opinion). Famitsu had pretty even scores between them, and it was originally GCN only. I never said to feel stupid I just said "I feel as though you're missing out". Wii vers. is better IMO (As I said that before) because you can't throw your GC controller around like you can a Wii Mote and expect to kill enemies.
