I was doing Cave of Ordeals.

Level 46, used up a fairy and Fairy's Tears on ice dudes and Iron Knuckles, still got a warm bottle of Rare Chu Jelly.

And the game glitches.

I'm not sure what happened.  Maybe when I did a spin attack one of the rats went through the wall.  I don't know.  But the door would open.

No ghost rats, no mini skeletons, no nothing.

...I haven't had the heart to finish the game since.  v_v

W00t! I've had a Wii for about a week and a half now :D

Anyway, I'm some 6 hours in. I'm currently at Kakariko Village, collecting the little bug things. The simple fact that it took me all this time makes me excited.

The Wii controls surprisingly well. I do get lazy at times and move the Wiimote as little as possible, but aiming, swordfighting, and even item usage feel pretty natural. Well, they take a little getting-used-to, but not much, and it all seems to flow after that. My only complaint is the stab--I would rather actually stab than have it stabbing every time the stick's pointing forward.

So far, so good. I'm excited to see the play time. :3

  • 2 weeks later...

FINALLY BEAT THIS GAME!!!

I didn't have the heart to finish the Cave, though.  Not after what happened...

But I'm gonna do it!  Eventually!

Hah, I only got 35 Poes. I do not feel like looking for all 60.

Bugs aren't that bad. It's the Poes that get on my nerves.

The bugs was fun. I hated the Star game though.

It was kinda annoying but, it only took me two tries to get the big quiver.

You guys are making me feel like crap... I guess I need to get back into this game and start doin' all the sidequests.

Oh, c'mon, Star Game's not that bad.  Unless you didn't finish the last temple.  But most of them are lined up; I think there's a path you can take so that you'll get all the stars without backtracking.

I've only done the first one so far--no Double Clawshots yet, but soon...chasing around for the symbols at the moment....

What I REALLY want is the 1000 rupee wallet, though. I can use that kinda cash...except I somehow don't think i'll need it by the time I get it.

It's really, really not worth the trouble.  The only thing you'll need Rupees for by that time is a) Magic Armor or <_< Roll Goal.

I'm doing it for completion, anyways. Besides, I've only got 6 bugs left, I'm 35-ish hours in, and at the City in the Sky. Pretty soon, all I'll have left are the sidequests, and I'd like to see the total time to complete all that. 100% completion is a must...except for in Wind Waker, because it takes forever.

...I was thinking the very first room, actually.  XD

Bear in mind, this is the same guy who listened to us when we told him not to go back and play Song of Storms for the well in OoT.  Shadow Temple was quite entertaining.  XD
